After the short catwalk, finally the competition began.

They were to go out to the sea group by group to catch the waves that they want. Shin Hye's group were the last to go from the draw and Min Ho's team was just before her's. 

Min Ho did pretty well with the waves. He was stayed afloat for quite sometime and so did Taeyang. They were putting serious competition and pressure on the previous groups. They were all serious about winning the overall competition. Though the men in the group did well, Dara could not stay long on the board and fell off the surfing board within seconds.

Shin Hye had to admit, watching Min Ho surfed with that tanned skin of his stirred her heart.

How charming.. - Shin Hye's thoughts. 

Min Ho's tanned skin had always been Shin Hye's point of why she thought he was handsome. She remembered Min Ho complaining to her how he thought being tanned is not a good thing.

Flashback to conversation...

"If I have not charmed you to make you fall in love with me, I'm sure you would prefer a fair skinned guy right?"

"Ya Lee Min Ho.. You think I am that superficial?"

"Most girls prefer that here in our country."

"I see... I am most girls huh?"

*Oops Min Ho blundered with that comment*

"No.. You know I don't mean it that way."

Shin Hye cupped his face stared right through his eyes and said,

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you this earlier. Now please listen and I shall not repeat myself. Every time you feel that you are having a complex about being tanned, say this. Now repeat after me, arrasso?"

"Orh."

"Lee Min Ho, ..." 

"Lee Min Ho, ..." Min Ho echoed.

"Shin Hye loves you.."

"Shin Hye loves you.."

"...not because of your physical appearance... but..."

"...not because of your physical appearance... but..."

"She loves you for you."

Min Ho did not repeat the last bit of the sentence instead he just return it with a kiss on Shin Hye's lips.

"But why?"

"Firstly, I am not most girls. I think that you already know but don't want to admit because of your tiny bit of ego as a man."

"Secondly, tanned skinned guys are y." She said as she bit her lips.

"Ya.. Shin Hye don't do that to your lips. I'm weak when you do that."

"Hahahaha. Anyways I think a tan skin man... makes him much more manly.. and I...."

"And you..?"

"I love it!"

This time Min Ho kissed her in a much more passionate and intimate manner which Shin Hye responded... really.. well.

Back to present moment...

Shin Hye smiled recalling that incident. "Dang it Min Ho, you have to test me like this. Seems like you have the whole New Zealand on your side, the villa staff, the waves, the sun and even my friends!" Shin Hye mumbled.

Finally it was Shin Hye's group. They rode the waves well. Shin Hye who is known to pick new skills fast, picked up surfing just as fast. Because of that, Shin Hye managed to stay on the board the longest and even outlasting the guys in her group and the rest of the groups as well declaring her group as the overall winner of the competition and the best surfer among all! Min Ho was proud of her but refuse to show it.
