First Call

I was feeling extremely happy today, because yesterday I just bought my very own smartphone.

I, who was very old fashioned, finally said goodbye to that old fashioned me with just this little black touch screen thing.

And…

Look here, *showing my phone*

I got Suzy’s phone number !!! My first contact ! The girl I like !

So, I’m currently in a debate with myself right now. Whether I’m gonna call her or I’m gonna wait for her call.

Well, a guy should just wait. That’s what I heard at a TV show days before. Should I or should I not ?

I’m sorry I’m kinda repeating this sentence quite for some times. And I know, you might think this is so so so boring.

So, here’s my finger.

Dialing the numbers one by one. I remembered Suzy’s phone number ‘cause she gave me one before. And it’s written on a paper thankfully.

I’ve kept it well since before.

“0XX-XXX-XXX”, I mumbled her phone number.

And then pressed the light green button. And…

The moment we’ve all been waiting for.

*beep**beep**beep*

“… Hello ?”

A familiar girl’s voice was heard from across the phone.

“S-Suzy ?”, I tried to start the talk.

“Oh ? Chanyeol ? Is it you ?”

SHE… PICKED UP THE CALL, THANK GOD.

“Yeah !”

“Whoa, what’s with the shout ?”, Suzy said while giggling.

 “Uh…”

“So why did you call me ?”

“Um… Just testing whether if my first call worked or not, yeah, that’s it”

Phew, I, fortunately found a reason.

“Well, it worked, huh ?”

“Uh-huh”

“So hey, I was wondering-“

Just then, before Suzy could finish her sentence, another call came from an unknown number.

“Uh… Sorry, another call came in”

“Oh, that must be Kai. I told him that you just bought a new smartphone and he quickly wanted your number”, Suzy explained, “Just receive it. Call you later, bye”

And then, Suzy’s voice was not heard anymore. It was turned off.

I quickly received Kai’s call. And by the time I received it, he was laughing enormously. Saying how happy he was after hearing that I bought a smartphone.

And here I thought, is he thinking I might not buy a smartphone for the rest of my life ? Well that could be possible if all my money was spent.

“…Hyung ?”

“O-oh ?”

“What happened ?”

“Nothing. But hey, you called at a very very right time”

“What time ?”

The time when I called Suzy.

“…*sigh*… Forget it. What do you want to talk about ?”

And after that, Kai talked a lot more things. He even invited me to go to the game center again because I haven’t gone there for a lo…..ong time already.

“Alright. I’ll go there again sometimes”

Guess I’ll call Suzy again tomorrow…. Maybe ?
