Luhan was taken back by the sudden question but he kept himself calm. “I can’t love her back, Suho. You know that,” he looked down at the plants by his feet. “ Ara… But the question is, do you love her? Hyung, I won’t judge you if you do. But at least you have to know your limits,” Suho said.

The atmosphere was awkward but calm between them before Luhan could answer. “I love her. It’s no use hiding it from you, right? Leader?” He smiled sadly. “You know what I told Yeol right? Know your place. And don’t let anyone know, especially the fans. They’ll hurt her. You don’t want to have her hurt, right?” Suho clasped his hands.

“I know. That’s why I’ve been stopping myself from falling harder but you know, it’s so difficult. She’s so charming. She’s beautiful in her own way. I can’t blame Chanyeol for falling for her,” Luhan covered his face. “She’s not like the others. She’s so real, realer than any woman I’ve seen before who only show us their good side. Milan… She’s so different from the girls we’ve encountered before,” he added.

Suho only listened to his words. Milan was after all from another country. She was neither from Korea nor China. They don’t know much how an authentic Filipina is, since Dara isn’t a pure Filipina. Milan was a Filipina who was ready for globalization. They’ve felt like she was completely different. She knew how to deal with each of them but she’s hiding so much from them.

Chanyeol sat up and rubbed his eyes. When he looked at the bed where Milan was last night, she was already gone. He slowly crawled out of bed and didn’t expect Milan go out of the bathroom with her face still kind of wet. He was flustered. He never saw Milan with a freshly washed face. His imagination suddenly fired up. He was imagining the times if Milan and he are married, he would see this every day.

“Good morning, oppa,” she greeted then she yawned a bit. “Why are you up so early?” She raised an eyebrow but before Chanyeol could answer, her phone rang. “Mianhae,” she bowed her head a bit and rushed to her phone. When she saw the caller ID, she immediately answered it.

“Kunpimook.”

Chanyeol suddenly felt this jealousy tugging on his heart. He only knows one Kunpimook Milan is friends with. He can’t even believe Milan is still friends with that person who forcibly kissed her. He clutched his fists and went out of the room to check what food there is in the fridge.

“Mianhae, Milan, for that kiss. I am so sorry.”

“BamBam, you know how violated I felt?”

“Arasseo…”

“Then why did you even do it?”

“It was… I can’t control myself. I regretted it the second you slapped me.”

“Why did you even do it?”

“I love you so much, Milan.”

Milan was silent for a second. Those words were repeated to her again. She took a deep breath before speaking again.

“You know I can’t return your feelings.”

“Yes, I know. But you’re so charming that it’s hard to resist the temptation.”

“Hard? I’ve been resisting the temptation for so long…”

“For whom?”

“Never mind, BamBam. Just… I can’t resist any of my friends so I’ll forgive you but please, find another girl. Find a better girl.”

“There is no better girl than you.”

“You will find her.”

“What if she was you?”

“Then I shouldn’t feel like this for another man. Anyways, I have to go. I have to wake the other members up. Be careful.”

Milan hung up and left her phone on the table. She went out of the room and opened the door to her room. She saw Tao, Sehun, Kai and Lay still sleeping and she decided not to wake them up. She then went down and found Kyungsoo already cooking, Xiumin drinking coffee, Luhan and Suho checking out the other rooms and Chanyeol furrowing his eyebrows at the newspaper on the dining table.

“Give me that,” Milan grabbed the Tagalog newspaper as she hissed. “She’s not the type to be messed with in the morning,” Xiumin chuckled. Milan pouted and rolled her eyes then sat beside Chanyeol as if nothing happened earlier. “You don’t even understand a word of this,” Milan muttered.

Chanyeol wanted to sigh but he can’t. He just smiled brightly and put his head on Milan’s. “I might. I know a little bit of English and some of the words there are English.”

“But most are Tagalog.”

“Then teach me.”

“Focus on your Mandarin.”

“I don’t need that. And I know conversational Chinese.”

“That’s not enough.”

“It is! At least I can understand what Tao is saying!”

“It isn’t. As long as you can’t carry on an extraordinary conversation in Mandarin then it’s not enough.”

“But at least I can converse with you in Mandarin.”

“You can’t.”

“Uh-huh, I can.”

“And plus, your English .”

“Your… Your…”

“I don’t in any language I speak, dufus. I study them until I can express anything in that language.”

Chanyeol just pouted and kept quiet. Milan smirked and read the newspaper. “You can’t win over her, Chanyeol. Mil-ah is a smart girl, and rather opinionated too with a big ego,” Xiumin said and when Milan shot a look, he chuckled. “That’s why you shouldn’t argue with her.”

“So what did you and Kunpimook talk about?”

“None of your business, oppa.”

“Why are you so hot headed right now?”

“I am not! Why do you think so? Have you ever seen me mad?”

“Now.”

“I am not, oppa. Geez.”

Milan suddenly stood up and pulled her hair to the side. In Chanyeol’s point of view, she looked perfect except for her frowning face of course. “I’m going out,” she said. “Wearing that?” Chanyeol pointed at her pajamas. “It’s normal here. I’m going to have breakfast in the nearby mall. Don’t bother following me,” she said before getting her wallet from upstairs and going out of the house.

“So what’s the deal between you two? You harmonized so well just yesterday and now, she’s mad at you. What happened, chingu?”
