Everyone stared at her in disbelief. Sehun, Tao and Xiumin were all confused. “Why do you think that?” Luhan asked, his eyes not meeting hers. “I have a feeling in my gut. Aside from that, by the way Ynna was speaking and now looking back, is that why oppa’s face gets annoyed when I’m with BamBam or with Luhan-oppa,” Milan explained, blinking her eyes innocently and almost making Luhan’s heart skip a beat. “Sheesh, don’t be full of yourself. Remember best friend love stories don’t end well,” Baekhyun said to cover up Chanyeol’s feelings.

Milan nodded a bit. “Yeah, you’re right. Like oppa, you all EXO-oppa, have a lot of choices and I’m definitely not one of them,” she said. Suho sighed in relief. “Anyways, I have to go. I have to talk to manager-hyung about the concert in Indonesia,” he said before leaving. Slowly, one by one the members left and Luhan and Milan were left in the room alone.

“Aren’t you going to follow them, oppa?” Milan asked. “Ani,” Luhan shook his head. “You’d be lonely,” he added with a charming smile. “I have my phone with me. Don’t worry,” Milan said as she lifted her phone. “Isn’t that an old model already? You don’t want to buy a new phone?” Luhan asked. “I’m fine with my phone. I have memories with this,” Milan reassured him.

“If you say so…” Luhan sat beside her. “Yah, oppa, I ship you with Xiumin-oppa,” Milan suddenly said. “Chincha?” Luhan laughed. “Waeyo?” He then asked. “You two act so cute together that I just can’t—But then there’s the temptation of LuKai and LuTao and just, stop being shipped with everybody, oppa,” Milan said and she was again fangirling. Apparently, Luhan is usually the only one to really see this side of hers. And Luhan finds it really adorable.

“But there’s a ship that I really detest. LuChen,” Milan suddenly narrowed her eyes. “Ynna and I completely agree you and Chen-oppa don’t fit together. She says it’s because Chen’s too perfect but I say it’s because you’re too pretty,” she explained. Luhan suddenly frowned. “Hey, jeoneun an yeppeoyo! (I’m not pretty)” He burst, making Milan laugh. “You’re prettier than most of the female population, oppa! That’s why you’re my bias. That’s why Taemin-oppa’s my bias because he’s so pretty,” Milan suddenly went in a daze.

“But being pretty is nothing compared to you who is beautiful,” Luhan suddenly blurted out. Luckily, Milan didn’t hear it clearly since she was dreaming about Taemin for the nth time. “What were you saying?” Milan asked as she snapped out of her daze. “Nothing, nothing,” Luhan shook his head, still smiling. “Do you have an IG by the way? I could follow you,” he asked to get off the topic. “Nope, never thought of making an account. I’m contented with Facebook, Tumblr, Youtube, DeviantArt, AsianFanfics and Twitter,” she elaborated.

“AFF? You have an account there?” Luhan asked. Milan suddenly realized the information she shared. “Er… Umm… Ne,” she nodded. “By any chance, what kind of stories do you write?” Luhan asked. Milan avoided eye contact. “I don’t write fanfics,” Milan lied but Luhan noticed her eyes going away from him. “Ah chincha? It’s obvious you’re lying,” Luhan said. “Okay, I write sometimes,” Milan pouted. “I’ll just show you what I write once we get to my motherland,” Milan added. “Deal,” Luhan smiled.

Chanyeol then entered the room and saw the two happily talking to each other as if the embarrassing conversation before he left never happened. “Konnichiwa, nii-chan,” Milan then suddenly said in the cutest manner Chanyeol could dream of. She looks so vulnerable whenever she speaks Japanese. She sounds like a kid. Her pitch changes. And Chanyeol is not going against it. “Konnichiwa, imouto,” Chanyeol said as he went to Milan’s side and hugged her. “Sorry for walking out like that,” he muttered. “It’s okay. I should’ve been more sensitive, oppa. By the way, oppa, do you like me?” Milan asked.

Luhan noticed he should leave the room and he did. The two needed privacy. Chanyeol might be confessing tonight. The deer went to his room and sat on his bed. Xiumin was talking to Lay when he went in. He didn’t greet the pair at all and just really went straight to bed. He felt the tension in his chest. He wanted Milan. But he wanted Chanyeol to win. Don’t get him wrong. He loves Milan so much but he’s afraid he might hurt her. Youngmin was a cruel boss. He didn’t want Milan to go through more hell than the sasaengs gave her. He can’t handle it if Milan got hurt.

Her state earlier already hurt him. He felt the pang in his chest. But all of that vanished when she woke up. He knew her better because of that document. “Calm down, Han,” he muttered to himself as he held his head. “I know you love her but you have to set her free even if it hurts you,” he whispered, trying to keep himself calm. If Milan and Chanyeol went out, can he handle seeing them holding hands like what he wanted to do with her? Can he handle seeing them hug each other and not wish that he should be in Chanyeol’s place? But Chanyeol deserves Milan.

He hated these contradictory thoughts he had in his head. Luhan was very confused now. “Yah, what’s wrong?” Xiumin asked when Lay went out of their room. “Love life,” Luhan mumbled into his pillow. “How can you have trouble in your love life if you haven’t met the girl you’ve been talking about on the internet?” Xiumin asked. “I met her. I discovered who she is. I fell in love with her more but I should let another guy win over her,” Luhan said, lifting the pillow from his head.

“Help, bao zi.”

“Of course I like you, Mil-ah,” Chanyeol answered, trying to hide how flustered he is by the sudden question. “No, I mean as in like like. Like how I liked my exes back then,” Milan tried to explain. “How did you like your exes back then?” Chanyeol asked, trying to divert the topic. “I would do anything for them even if it meant I would get hurt. I would smile at them even though I wanted to cry. I want to be with them always,” Milan told him.

“Now, oppa, again with my question and answer it honestly, okay? Do you love me, oppa?”
