Haircut

The New Composer

“Everyone, food is here!” Luhan shouted which made the boys run and get their bowls and spoons. It was first come, first serve and luckily, Milan cooked so much for them. Some of the boys sat on the table, some on the floor. They let Milan sit on the table and accompanying her were Xiumin, Kai, Tao, Chanyeol, Lay and Luhan.

“Could we play truth or dare later?” Xiumin said before eating the rice first. Luhan nodded. “Why not, right?” he said before chuckling. “Oh! There’s ginger here, good for the throat,” Milan heard Kai say. “Dimwit, everybody knows that,” Chanyeol said before punching Kai’s arm playfully. Milan thought Chanyeol only did that to touch his ‘idol’.

Would she do that to Dara-eunni too?

She shook her head of the thought and continued eating. “What’s Mil-ah’s family like?” Lay suddenly asked. Milan took a few more spoons into before answering. “Supportive, I guess. It’s all based on which family member though. My umma’s very supportive of me and she’s the reason why I can be independent and why I have strong faith in my religion. My appa’s very strict and he’s the reason why I became this perfect student with the grades and all that. My sister…” Milan’s lips curved into a thin line.

“My sister…”

She repeated as she closed her eyes. She remembered all her moments with her sister. Milan’s sister was always there for her. She was Milan’s most important person and she’s the one she’s missing the most. Her sister would always listen to her blabber even if she doesn’t have a clue what she’s saying.

“My sister is nothing like any sister out there, I guess. I mean, she’s the reason why I’m still alive right now. She’s the moon to my night. She’s the sun to my day. She’s the light bulb of my dark room. In short, she gave light to me during the darkest times. I can never have a better sister than her.”

Xiumin smiled a bit before taking another piece of chicken into his mouth. “I know how you feel. That’s why I’ll always protect my sister no matter what,” he said, looking at Milan. “It’s better to hide her from the harsh world of entertainment. She might get harassed by the media, or worse by the fans after all,” Xiumin added.

Milan nodded slowly before finishing her meal. The boys were surprisingly quiet as they ate. Did they need that much concentration in filling their stomachs? Milan laughed a bit at that thought. She then put the bowls on the sink. “I cooked for you so I’m not gonna wash the dishes,” Milan said as she took off the apron.

She kinda got attached to it but she can’t walk around wearing it.

“I’ll just get a haircut,” she whispered before going into her room. Even though Milan just got the room, she already redecorated it to her pleasing. Her guitar and electric piano were on one side. The desk had her laptop and lots of her notebooks and the books she bought recently. Her bed wasn’t pink anymore, unlike her bed back at home which was always pink. Her clothes were in the closet.

It was actually messy. There were music sheets scattered all around the floor and there were drawings too. The only neat things piled up were her notebooks with her own stories and fanfiction that she wishes no one in EXO would dare to read.

She quickly got changed and covered her whole body since the temperature was getting colder and colder. Winter was around the corner and she hated it. She wore the bonnet and went out. She bid the boys goodbye before going out of the dorm.

It wasn’t obvious she was a female with all those clothes covering her and for that, she was really thankful. “Now, which salon should I go to?” She asked herself. “Hey, Milan-ah!” Someone called out and she turned her head to the pleasant surprise. “BamBam-oppa?” She reacted to the man running towards her. “Stop calling me oppa, I feel old,” BamBam said as he smiled a bit.

“And I’m too cute to be an oppa, aren’t I?” He said before doing aegyo. Milan laughed at the sudden action. “We’re only two years apart. You don’t need to call me oppa,” he added before patting Milan’s head. “So this is the second time we’ve met in the streets accidentally,” Milan pointed out. “I guess fate’s making a way for us to know each other more,” BamBam said.

“I don’t need another idol in my life.”

“Well, I need another composer in my life.”

“You’re just gonna use me so you can have more money.”

“Is that how you really look at idols, Milan-ah?”

“Stop with the ah thing, it’s weird after knowing you’re Thai. And I guess so. Isn’t that what all humans want? Money?”

“But I don’t really care about the money. I like making our fans happy.”

“The common answer, I see. Anyways, I’ll be going. It was nice seeing you,” Milan said before turning her back on him. “Can I accompany you? The others are at different variety shows and I’m not that good with the camera so they let me out,” BamBam said as he held Milan’s wrist. “Hm? Oh sure. Know any good salons here in Seoul?” Milan asked.

“I know,” BamBam pulled Milan’s wrist towards a one-story building with glass all over it. Glass doors and glass windows. It had bushes of flowers on the outside and on the inside, it had posters of various haircuts and nail art. There were only a few people there and so they were greeted with a smile. “Oh, Bammie, what brings you here?” Some woman in a flashy outfit said.

She was gorgeous, Milan thought. She had beautiful long brown hair with curls at the end. She had thick eyelashes and her lips were red and plump. “Is this your girlfriend?” The girl looked down to you. She was kind of tall but then Milan noticed her 5 inch heels. Milan can only salute to her determination on being tall.

BamBam shook his head and smiled at the lady. “She’s a friend I just met and she wants a haircut,” he said. The woman looked at Milan from head to toe. “Oh, she’s dark,” the woman’s expression became bitter. “Don’t you want to get whiter?” The woman asked. Milan shrugged. “I am fairly fine with my brown complexion, Madam,” Milan politely said.

“Oh, this girl has manners! When I say that to other girls, they get mad and storm out of the salon. You’re my favourite,” the woman said before grabbing Milan’s wrist. “Now, let’s give you a great haircut and because Bammie brought you here, it’s free,” the woman said, forcing Milan to sit down. “What kind of hairstyle do you want?” She asked.

Milan turned her head to BamBam who was just talking to the other staff. “Anything is good as long as I look good in it,” Milan answered. The boys will surely be shocked when Milan gets home after this.

Anyways, the main reason why I put BamBam here cuz he's adorbs. Maybe Chanyeol will have a rival or not? Luhan's enough of a rival already-- Pfft--- Poor Yeollie~
