When she found the room, she knocked at the door. “Oppa, it’s me,” she called out. Chanyeol opened the door to see the still crossdressing Milan. “Why are you wearing that?” He asked as he pointed at the wig then the coat. “Oh, this,” she looked down. “I was with Luhan-oppa and Sehun-oppa earlier,” she then took off the hoody and the wig. “The fans are scary,” she said as she frowned. He stepped aside to let her in.

“Sit down if you want to,” He told her. Milan sat on the bed opposite to Chanyeol’s. “Who’s your roommate this time?” She asked. “It’s Baekhyun. As usual,” Chanyeol said as he sat on his bed with his guitar on his lap. “What were you playing before I got here?” Milan asked, hesitating on whether to lie on Baekhyun’s bed or not. “The song you wrote, it’s actually pretty good,” Chanyeol said as he tuned his guitar. “Umm… Ah… Chen-oppa said you were lonely without me. Now, why is that?” Milan asked, blinking a few times.

“I wasn’t lonely! I was with the other members the whole day so there isn’t a reason to be lonely,” Chanyeol reacted. “He just told me, I was just confirming it,” Milan said. “So you wanted me to go to EXO’s mall show tomorrow? I would love to, you know. And if you wonder why I know, Chen-oppa told me,” Milan added. “Really, that Chen,” Chanyeol muttered. “Anyways, I just wanted to check up on you because I thought you were lonely,” Milan said before standing up.

“Where’s Baek-oppa? I have something to tell him,” she said as she walked to face Chanyeol. “He’s in the closet now, I think he was deciding what to wear tomorrow on the way to the mall show,” Chanyeol said. He wanted Milan to stay with her more. But he guessed he can’t for now. It’s only been two days since they personally knew each other. It’s better not to have any kinds of feelings with her right now.

“See you tomorrow then,” Milan said before going out of the room. She went straight towards the closet and there he saw Baekhyun comparing clothes with each other. “Oh, hey, Mil,” Baekhyun waved a bit before going back to what he was doing. “Hey,” she sat at the bench and looked at him. She watched him for a few minutes before speaking. “Didn’t you wonder who my bias is?” Milan then found Baekhyun looking at her with one of his eyebrows raised.

“Are you going to tell me now?” Baekhyun asked. Milan hesitated but nodded right after. “I’m not forcing you to tell me, Mil. Everyone has their own secrets and you have the right to keep yours,” he said as he put the shirt he was holding back to its place then sat next to Milan. “No, I have to tell you. It’s hard not talking to anyone about this right now, oppa,” Milan said. “Okay then, then who’s your bias, Mil?” Baekhyun looked at her.

Milan took a deep breath as she said,” Kai-oppa.” Baekhyun was shocked to hear this. His guess was wrong. He thought Luhan was her bias but instead, it was Kai. Kim Jong-In. The dark child is her bias. It wasn’t obvious though, she rarely talks to Kai. The most they did was when they locked arms while going to the broadcast. That was it.

Milan was so shy around Luhan. That was why he guessed it was him. But not everything could be seen by the eye, he guessed right now. “Oppa, please don’t tell anyone. That’s why I avoid talking to him. I need to concentrate on my work and not on him. This job means everything to me,” Milan told him. It was Baekhyun’s first time to see this side of her. She was vulnerable right now. And he was sure the other members haven’t seen this side of hers.

“Are you just going to let Kai go to another woman when the time comes?” Baekhyun asked her. Milan looked hurt and nodded slowly. “This job is more important than my own interest. If we were meant to be together, fate will make a way,” Milan answered, biting her lower lip. “You know, I don’t believe in fate. If I were you, I’ll make a way to steal Kai from the other girls. Eureurong?” Baekhyun said, hinting at the song. “I am the jealous type but I’d rather sacrifice my own heart to keep this job,” Milan told him. “Baek-oppa, what you heard from me is confidential and you shouldn’t let other people know about this,” She said sternly.

Baekhyun understood why so he nodded. “This secret won’t escape from my lips, Mil. I swear this over the exoplanet.” He said as he raised one of his hands and looked like he was pledging his loyalty to Milan. “Thanks,” she smiled lightly.

The next day was really a busy one. The members woke up early and left Milan to practice in SM’s building. When Milan woke up, she saw breakfast prepared for her and a note saying the members were out and to be careful when she’ll go around town. She smiled a bit. Those boys are really sweet.

Milan wore her usual male clothes and went out. “Hey, Milan!” A girl with glasses called out to her. She had her hair in a messy side bun and her clothes were actually cute. She was carrying her laptop in her bag and had a pen tablet in her other hand. She looked like she spent the whole day outside. “Mae, what happened to you?” Milan looked at her from head to toe. “Oh, you know, my duties,” she said as she looked down to her clothes.

“Duties? Okay, let’s call it that. So what’s up?” Milan said as she crossed her arms. “I was wondering if you know where EXO is already,” Mae said as she scratched the back of her neck. Milan looked at her like she was crazy but she was used to this. “They’re at the main building, don’t tell the other fans. They’re practicing right now for a mall show later,” Milan whispered. “Really? That’s good information then. I’ll be at the nearby café if you need me,” Mae said before waving. “I’m working for another company for their flash videos so I won’t be always here to protect you around those boys. Take care, Milan!” She said before speeding off.
