Jongdae parked his car in front of her house. He glanced at Jae In. The latter seems to be preoccupied in her mind. "Jae?"

"Oh, we're here." She opened the door and wanted to get down. While struggling to get out, she lost her balance. Jongdae rushed to her side and caught her body in time.

"You don't need to-" Before she finished saying Jongdae has already lifted her up in his arms. "The landlord is going to see us! Put me down!" Jae In's face turned red because of his actions. Jongdae ignored with a smirk. He carried her all the way up to the rooftop.

Jae In eventually gave up and took the chance to observe his facial features. The latter has distinctive cheek bones and tiny curves at the end of his lips. Despite that, his manly jawline completed his good looks.

Jongdae was nice. She was too busy chasing after Kyungsoo to notice that. He may look cold, but he was there when she needed him. He was being sincere and she had treated him badly. The realization hit her like cold water.

"Oppa. This is karma, right?"

"Karma?"

"I ruined Kyungsoo and Joohee's relationship. For that, I got punished with this." She said, pointing at her bandaged leg. "For hurting you too, I'm sorry."

"Are you really Jae In? You called me oppa five times today. I'm starting to cringe." He said jokingly, pretending to shiver. Jae In chuckled.

They reached to Jae In’s rooftop house. Jongdae puts her down on the bench. He sat next to her for a quick rest. “Alright, give me the keys.” Jae In gave no response. Instead, she looked at him without blinking. “Jae?”

No response. Jongdae grew anxious. “Jae, why are you-“

A small peck landed on his cheek. Jae In leaned back with a smile. His eyes became wider.

Jae In blushed. She smiled awkwardly. "It was a bit sudden but-“ Suddenly Jongdae pressed his lips on hers. She was startled at first. The kiss made her forgot what she was going to say. Her mind became blank. But then, she felt the same passion as he did. She closed her eyes and returned the kiss. Jae In wrapped her arms around his neck while Jongdae pulled her closer.

“Ouch!” Jae In winced, breaking them apart. Jongdae accidentally kicked her injured leg. “Sorry!” He said
