Jongdae tiptoed carefully. Using bathroom as his excuse, he left Baekhyun alone in the car with the surveillance. He was able to avoid being detected thanks to his own made gadget. He already switched the live footage with a recording made earlier. Rather than assisting today’s operations, he decided he wanted to help Kyungsoo instead. He should be given a proper chance, he thought.

Baekhyun and the others won’t even know.

Daehyun was talking to Joohee. He scanned the surroundings and spotted Kyungsoo watching from a corner. Great. I can start my plan. He looked to the left and right. The coast is clear.

Daehyun was already bringing Joohee into the haunted house. Jongdae came out from his hiding spot. He followed them without a sound, but still making sure he was to be seen by Kyungsoo.

Going inside a haunted house was nothing for him. He was not afraid at all because he knew the ghosts weren’t real. Once he entered, he put on his special goggle. It allows him to see in the dark.

Inside, there were only few lights here and there. The place was decorated theme fittingly, giving out a creepy ambience. He greeted the ghosts that came out with a bow. “Hi. Keep working hard.” He gave two thumbs up and continued his journey.

Daehyun and Joohee just completed touring the first room. Joohee was obviously scared, but she refused to cling on to him. She only let Daehyun held her hand. Holding hands with a guy was already uncomfortable for her.

He walked with a steady pace. When he came closer to Daehyun, he knocked him on purpose.

Daehyun fell on purpose, breaking his connection with Joohee. “Daehyun! Are you okay?” Joohee asked. She turned her body around, trying to locate Daehyun in the dark. “Where are you?”

“I’m here.” Daehyun stood up, brushing dust off his shirt. Jongdae quickly held his hands. “Ah, there you are. Let’s go.” Jongdae bit his lip. Holding hands with a guy… Eww!! Kyungsoo, you better be good to me from now on. He tried not to cringe so much while Daehyun took him away.
