Joohee and Kyungsoo averted their gazes from each other. They are not sure of what to say next. They got lost in the awkward silence.

"So," Kyungsoo quickly cleared his throat. "You're a doctor now?" Joohee nodded. She wanted to ask so many things, but her voice got stuck in . Just ask. Finally, she opened to speak.

"What about you?"

Kyungsoo scratched his head. What should he tell her? He can't mention his profession or she'll get suspicious. Joohee was still waiting for his answer.

"L-let's just say, I help people solving their problems." He answered with hesitation. That didn't sound right...

"Problems? What kind of problems?"

"All kind of problems. But not illegal ones. Just like the one I used to do in high school." Kyungsoo let out an awkward smile. He never felt this nervous talking to someone. He felt his body heat rising up.

"Are you okay?" Joohee put her palm on his forehead. Her action made her even more nervous. "Your face is red. Maybe your fever is coming back-"

"I think I need to lie down. I'm feeling sleepy." Kyungsoo said, pretending to yawn. He lied down and pulled the blanket to his chest. "Okay... I'm going to check my other patients. Get some rest." Joohee replied, leaving him alone.

Kyungsoo closed his eyes tightly. He heard the sound of the door creaking open. He ignored the sound but then someone woke him up.

My shift has ended. I went straight to locker room and took out my bag. I can't wait to get home and go to sleep. I yawned. I closed my locker and put my nametag into my bag.
