The Girl Who Didn't Believe In LoveThe doorbell rang and you answered it. Jaejoong yanked his mask off and came in, “I heard what happened. Are you all right?”
“I’m fine.” You went back to the sofa and sat down. You cut the apples and held some out, “Want some?”
He blinked at you, “How can you be so normal at a time like this?”
You sighed and put the plate down, “Then what do you want me to do? Cry and throw a fit?”
“That might make you feel better.” Jaejoong sat down.
You hugged your knees to your chest, “I wish I could but I’m not the type to go down when I’m kicked.”
“I’m glad.” Jaejoong wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pulled you close, “It helps so much to have a strong girlfriend like you in a time like this. I’m proud of you.” You looked at him and he smiled. You couldn’t help but chuckle.
You rested your head on his shoulder and he your hair, “Still, you must be disappointed. You worked so hard for this career. Enough to leave me out in the cold. And yet, this is what you got.”
You sighed, “I admit. I am disappointed. I didn’t think they would push me out for this.
” “I’m sorry. It’s all my fault.” Jaejoong sighed. He sat up and looked at you, “If you want…we can call this quits now.”
You shook your head, “I don’t want to make the same mistake twice. I need you, Jaejoong oppa.” He softened, “I need you, too.”
