It was Monday at last. Jisoo had been waiting for Monday to arrive. And it was the first time in his life he wanted it to be Monday. Because it meant he had English and Physics, with Junghan. Yes, today was going to be a good day.

Jisoo got ready and he got to school pretty soon, but he didn’t mind because soon he would see Junghan. People started coming but no Junghan in sight. The class started and Junghan still wasn’t there.

The morning carried on and he didn’t see Junghan anywhere.

When it was lunch time he almost run to their table to find that Junghan wasn’t there either.

“Hey” he greeted their friends.

“Hi” they said.

“Do you know anything about Junghan? Any of us has seen him today” Wonwoo asked Jisoo and he shook his head.

“I was about to ask you about him as well” he said. He took his phone out and Jihoon noticed his lock screen picture.

“What’s that picture?” Jihoon asked teasingly.

“It’s nothing” Jisoo said taking his phone but Soonyoung took it quickly and looked at the lock screen.

“Aw, you make a cute couple” he said and Wonwoo looked at it as well.

“When was this?” he asked him.

“Let me see” Mingyu said and Wonwoo passed him he phone.

“Guysss, please” Jisoo cried.

“Are you going out already?” Mingyu said excited.

“No, we’re not, we’re just friends” Jisoo said and Soonyoung chuckled.

“Junghan cooked him dinner last Friday when he went to help him with English” Soonyoung said and the three other guys looked at Jisoo surprised.

“You’ve never cooked me dinner” Wonwoo told Mingyu.

“Do you want to die from food poisoning?” Mingyu asked his boyfriend and Wonwoo shook his head “Then that’s why” he said and Jihoon laughed. Mingyu kissed Wonwoo’s cheek, since they were sitting next to each other, and Wonwoo smiled at him.

“I still love you, I don’t care if you don’t cook for me”

“I know, I love you too” Mingyu said.

“You’re disgustingly cute” Soonyoung said and took a bite of his sandwich.

“Did something happen when you were there?” Jihoon asked Jisoo, who sat next to him.

“Kind of” he said blushing just by remembering what almost happened.

“What do you mean ‘kind of’?” Mingyu asked.

“Do tell” Wonwoo said.

“Well… when I was explaining him the English stuff he kept giving me these looks, and he kept teasing” Jisoo explained.

“Yeah yeah, we assumed that would happen” Soonyoung said hurrying Jisoo to tell the important stuff.

“And when we finished we ended up chilling in his bed, nothing happened, before you say anything, but he asked me if it was the first time I helped someone in English and I told him I did, and he got so jealous and sad, but I told him he was special because well… you know” Jisoo said.

“Aww” Wonwoo said.

“And we were almost kissing, I was about to kiss him but then my mum had to call” Jisoo said.

“What a mood killer” Jihoon commented.

“Yeah, I know. So then we talked for a bit and somehow we ended up cuddling” he explained “We were being really intimate and he was really close, almost kissing again, but this time nothing could interrupt us”

“And what happened? Did he kiss you?” Mingyu asked.

“No, because he suddenly pulled away, saying it was time to cook dinner” Jisoo said sitting back and sighing.

“What a tease” Wonwoo smirked.

“Yeah, what a ing tease, that’s what I thought” Jisoo said “We were barely two centimeters away from each other and then he suddenly pulls away, what the hell”

“Did he say anything?” Jihoon asked.

“Well, he asked me why I had that what-the-hell face and I told him I wanted to punch him, of course I was just kidding” Jisoo clarified “And then he acted as if nothing had happened and we went to his kitchen to cook dinner”

“Wow, he does know how to play” Soonyoung said.

“Do you think he’s just doing this for fun? I think he might be doing this to laugh at me” Jisoo said.

“Oh please, Jisoo” Wonwoo said “You know very well Junghan is a freaking angel, he wouldn’t do that”

“He’s too nice” Mingyu agreed “And he likes you”

“A lot” Jihoon agreed.

“So much” Soonyoung added.

“I hope you’re right” Jisoo sighed.

“Just look at you two, you are perfect for each other” Mingyu said looking at Jisoo’s lock screen.

“Give me my phone back please” Jisoo said and Mingyu gave it to him.

Jisoo unlocked the phone and decided to text Junghan, then he noticed the boy had changed his profile picture and now had the picture Jisoo had as a lock screen. Jisoo couldn’t help but cover his mouth with excitement.

“What wrong with your face?” Jihoon asked him.

“He changed his profile picture for the picture of the both of us” Jisoo said smiling.

“They’re already together and they don’t know it” Wonwoo said and Mingyu agreed.

“We weren’t that stupid” Mingyu said.

“Well, we kind of started kissing before we knew each other’s names, so yeah” Wonwoo said.

“Oh, those times” Mingyu said and Wonwoo laughed “Who knew I would be with you like this?” he hugged the older’s waist with one arm and they shared a quick kiss.

“I’ll ask him where he is” Jisoo said and texted Junghan.

Hi! Where are you? – JS

A few seconds later he replied.

Hi ^^, unfortunately I felt ill yesterday and I decided to stay at home, because I wasn’t feeling any better – JH

Aw, I hope you feel better soon, we all miss you – JS

If you want me to feel better I wouldn’t mind being visited after school… I miss you too – JH

Is that some kind of indirect I should get? – JS

Of course! You better come over unless you have something more important to do, I want to see your face >.< – JH

Alright, I’ll think about it – JS

That’s not the correct answer L - JH

What is? – JS

You saying: I’ll come over as soon as school is over, I really miss you – JH

Ok ok, I’ll go -_- (I do miss you) - JS

“What did he say and why are you smiling like an idiot?” Wonwoo asked.

“He’s ill, well yesterday he was and he decided to rest for today” Jisoo said and he didn’t notice Jihoon taking his phone and reading a bit of the conversation.

“And he’s invited him over after school” Jihoon said and Jisoo quickly took his phone and put it in his pocket.

“Privacy exists for a reason” Jisoo said blushing.

“Oh my god, he’s so into you” Mingyu said and Jisoo covered his face. He was too happy to even comprehend what was happening.

“He said he wanted to see my face, and that he misses me” he said without uncovering his face.

“Please, ask him out already” Soonyoung said.

“I can’t do that” Jisoo said “What if he says no?”

“He won’t” the other four said at the same time.

School time was over. Jisoo was really excited to go see Junghan. He told the boy he was going to stop by his house to get changed and leave his bag there, so he didn’t think he forgot about him. He went to his house and changed clothes as quickly as he could. He took his keys and phone and headed towards Junghan’s house.

It didn’t take him that long to get there. He knocked at the door and a few seconds later Junghan opened the door. He was in his pajamas his hair in a messy ponytail that made some hairs fall, still he looked beautiful to Jisoo.

“Hi” Jisoo said and Junghan hugged him happily.

“Hi” he said as Jisoo hugged back, but soon he pulled away “Come in”

Jisoo did so and without realizing they were already holding hands.

“How was school?” Junghan asked him as they went upstairs.

“Pretty boring” Jisoo replied.

“Did you miss me?” the boy asked making Jisoo blush. They went into Junghan’s room. Jisoo sat on his desk chair while Junghan sat on the unmade bed, sign that the boy had spent the whole day in there.

“I did” he said and Junghan smiled “Are you feeling better?”

“Yeah, a bit better” Junghan said. To be honest the boy did look a bit ill, he had bags under his eyes, sign that he didn’t sleep much, and he looked paler than usual.

“Lie down, you’ll feel better that way” Jisoo told him and Junghan did as told. Jisoo stood up and approached the bed, covering Junghan with the blankets and sitting on the edge of it.

“Thanks for coming” Junghan said and Jisoo took his hand “I really wanted to see you”

“Me too” Jisoo said smiling and he felt the boy’s forehead “You’re burning, are you sure you’re feeling better?”

“Not really” Junghan said and Jisoo sighed

“Why did you say you felt better? I can see in your face that you’re ill, you look really pale”

“Sorry” Junghan said and Jisoo shook his head.

“It’s ok” he said. He decided to bring the chair next to the bed and sit there more comfortably as he held Junghan’s hand, drawing random patterns on the back of his hand.

“Tell me about your day, what did you do at school?” Junghan said smiling weakly.

The group of friends saw Jisoo leave to get to Junghan’s as soon as possible.

“I’m telling you, by the end of this week they’re dating” Jihoon said.

“I’d say by the end of the month” Soonyoung said “They’re really slow, and I’m sure Junghan won’t let him do anything until he feels like it’s time”

“Probably” Jihoon said.

“I don’t know… I’m not going to say anything, because maybe they are stupid and slow and they take months before dating or passion overcomes them and they end up making out by tomorrow” Mingyu said and Wonwoo nodded.

“Yeah, anything could happen, really” he said.

“Who knows? Maybe they’re already meeting before lunch to snog” Soonyoung said and Wonwoo glared at him “Oh come on, you did that for like two months”

“Not that long” Wonwoo remarked.

“Alright, so what, a month? Month and a half?” Soonyoung said.

“It was only for a couple of weeks” Mingyu said “Sadly”

“What do you mean? Did you like it better when we didn’t talk when we only made out?” Wonwoo asked him.

“Of course not, you idiot” Mingyu laughed as he back-hugged Wonwoo and kissed his cheek multiple times.

“By the way, who was the one to start that making out thing?” Jihoon asked.

“Oh, I see that’s something you need to know to get on with life” Wonwoo said.

“It was me” Mingyu said.

“I imagined it” Jihoon said ignoring Wonwoo’s comment.

“Why?” Wonwoo asked offended.

“Because you are as slow as Jisoo and Junghan” Soonyoung said and Jihoon and him high-fived.

“That’s true” Mingyu said, still hugging Wonwoo from behind “If it weren’t from me, we’d still be looking at each other during lunch”

“Alright, I get it” Wonwoo pouted.

“But that’s why I love you, ok?” Mingyu said and kissed Wonwoo’s neck.

“Ok” Wonwoo said and smiled stupidly.

Jisoo told him about his day, what he did in class, what the teacher explained in every class, filling him up on everything he missed on the classes they went to together. He told him about stuff that happened in the school, what was in the cafeteria’s menu during lunch, how Mingyu and Wonwoo kept being all cheesy and lovely, everything, but what their friends said about both of them.

Then Junghan asked him to tell him about his weekend and Jisoo did so. Entertaining the boy lying in bed. Junghan listened to him, looking at him, every move he made, his expression, his lips.

They spent about two hours like that, Junghan in bed, Jisoo keeping him company and talking to him, about whatever the other asked. They shared stories of their weekends, opinions on films and TV series and so on. Every now and then Jisoo would feel Junghan’s forehead only to find it as hot as the previous time.

“I should really get going, my mum’s asked me to be home before dinner” Jisoo said and Junghan looked at him with a sad look “Don’t look at me like that, if you do I’ll have to stay here all my life”

“I wouldn’t mind” Junghan said as he caressed the other’s cheek, making Jisoo blush.  

“Me neither” he said, honestly “Get some rest, ok? And tomorrow don’t you dare coming to school if you’re feeling like this”

“Ok” Junghan nodded.  

“I’ll show myself out, don’t get out of bed” Jisoo said when he saw Junghan making the attempt of moving out of bed.

“Thanks for coming”

“Thanks for telling me to come” Jisoo smiled at him and without really thinking about it he leaned it and kissed Junghan’s forehead “See you”

“Bye” Junghan breathed out and Jisoo left, closing the bedroom door behind him.

Wonwoo and Hanji got home after school.

“Why didn’t Junghan come with us today?” Hanji asked his brother as they went upstairs.

“He’s ill, so he had to stay at home” Wonwoo told her “Do you like him?”

“He’s really nice to me”

“Mingyu’s nice to you too”

“I know, but I’ve got used to him now” she said and Wonwoo laughed

“So, you don’t like him anymore?” he .

“It’s not that, I still like him, he’s helped you so much” she said as both of them entered Wonwoo’s bedroom.

“I know, he’s amazing, isn’t he?” Wonwoo said smiling

“Wonwoo” she said and Wonwoo looked at her “I really want the two of your to get married”

“You’re so cute” Wonwoo said hugging his sister tightly.

“You’re hugging me too tightly” she complained.

“I don’t care… I love you” Wonwoo said and she laughed.

“Mum agrees with me” she said and Wonwoo laughed.

“You’re the best” Wonwoo sighed letting go of his sister “Alright, now to your room to do your homework”
