“Noona, um... I-I want to get to know you better.” (YJ) Jessica turned to face Young Jae, whom had his gaze towards the ground and his face a bit red. At first, she had thought that Young Jae was kidding. However, that wouldn’t be something that Young Jae normally did. Daehyun, maybe, but not Young Jae. With a smile, she looked up at Young Jae’s face before reaching up and lifting his gaze a bit.
“Sure! No problem! Though.. isn’t Daehyun with you?” (J) Young Jae shook his head in response. That was actually the main reason why he had decided to take this time to get to know Jessica better. Since Daehyun was busy with dance practice and wanted it to be a surprise, it technically left him with nothing else to do. Plus, he rarely ever got to really get to know Jessica. “Oh, well we don’t need him anyway. Come! You’ll spend the most of the day with Noona!” (J)
Taking a hold of Young Jae’s lower arm, the pair soon began walking. Young Jae turned a bit red since he wasn’t exactly used to anyone but Daehyun touching him. Plus, he’s never really had to have any contact with women all that much. “Um.. where are we going, Noona?” (YJ)
“We’re going to go meet up with Yoona and Yuri! We’re going to go shopping! Don’t worry. You won’t have to pay for anything.” (J) Young Jae hadn’t exactly thought that he would be dragged along to go shopping. There weren’t many stores to begin with, so there wasn’t much variety. Plus, he had gone to all of the stores already. “Are you okay with that, Young Jae?” (J)
“Um.. I-I think so, but... h-haven’t you already looked through all the stores?” (YJ)
“Oh! What’s that supposed to mean?!” (J) Instantly, Young Jae began panicking. Had he said something that was offensive? He hadn’t meant to offend Jessica in any way. Jessica, though, only giggled as she lightly slapped Young Jae’s arm. “I’m just kidding. We’re only going out of boredom. Everything is overpriced anyway.” (J)
“Oh.. but... w-wouldn’t it be better to study about the ocean and its creatures? There are a lot of different communities and life forms that live in the ocean that can help um.. raise interest and make time go by faster.” (YJ) Jessica looked up at Young Jae with a slight brow raised. He looked down at her, a bit confused. Did he say something wrong? Why was Jessica giving him that kind of look?
“Young Jae.. I understand that you love to study and learn about things like the ocean, buuut... I think you should live a little more! Oh! I know the BEST thing to do with you.” (J) Jessica snickered slightly as she began moving faster, pulling Young Jae along. Young Jae couldn’t help but feel as if he regretted wanting to get to know Jessica more. Though, instead of worrying any longer, a single thought came up in his mind.
“Um.. noona? How come you’re not practicing with Sungyeol-hyung?” (YJ) Jessica slowed her pace down a bit as she looked up at Young Jae, tilting her head slightly. She had no idea whatsoever as to what Young Jae was talking about.
“What do you mean?” (J)
“A-Aren’t you entering the dance competition with hyung..?” (YJ) Jessica came to a stop, causing Young Jae to come to a stop too. He looked down at Jessica as he slightly tilted his head. Jessica furrowed her eyebrows as she stomped her foot.
“What do you MEAN by that?! I wouldn’t want to enter any sort of competition with that party pooper!” (J) Could one blame her? Sungyeol was constantly trying to keep Young Jae and Daehyun apart while she wanted to push the two together. “No, no... It doesn’t matter. No, I’m not entering the dance competition with Sungyeol. Anyway, that doesn’t matter! Let’s get going!” (J)
Taking a hold of Young Jae’s arm, Jessica began pulling Young Jae along once again.

“Unnie! You brought Young Jae too? How fun!” (Y) Yuri quickly wrapped her arms around Young Jae’s shoulders and gave him a tight squeeze before pulling away. It was always fun with more people, especially if they’re great friends. “So, are you ready? We’re going to have so much fun shopping! It’ll be great!” (Y)
“Actually Yuri... I had a different idea in mind.” (J)
“What idea is that?” (YA) Jessica quietly laughed maniacally before pulling Yuri and Yoona off to the side to tell them her plan. Young Jae bit his bottom lip as he fiddled with his fingers. Young Jae really wanted to know what Jessica’s plan was. He really hoped that it was a good plan. He wasn’t entirely all that sure about what Jessica was capable of planning out, so it was a complete surprise for Young Jae.
Soon, he heard giggling escaping from the huddled trio before they finally broke away and made their way back to him. Judging from the faces of all three of them, they looked quite excited. Well, Yuri almost always looked excited, so it was rather hard to tell what she was specifically excited about. “Are you ready Young Jae?! We’re going to have so much fun with you!” (Y)
“W-What do you mean..?” (YJ)
“You’ll see! Come on!” (YA) Yoona took a hold of one arm while Yuri took a hold of the other one. Turning, the three of them began making their way towards their intended destination. Jessica followed after happily, thinking of what things that they may need for a successful project. After all, everything had to go perfectly in order for this to work.
“W-Wait! W-Where are we going?!” (YJ) Young Jae’s eyes widened as he stared at a specific shop that they were nearing quite rapidly. He really hoped that they weren’t going where he thought they were, but apparently, his wishes weren’t about to come true any time soon. “I-I don’t wanna go in there!” (YJ)
“Oh, stop fighting! It’ll be great for you Young Jae! Think about it, after we’re done with you, Daehyun will want to be all over you more than ever!” (Y) Young Jae turned a complete shade of red as he was soon pulled into the salon. Jessica walked past the trio and made her way to the woman whom was currently sitting at the desk.
“Hello. Is it alright if we use your tools? We’ll pay the same rates and we’ll leave a tip.” (J) The woman thought for a moment before nodding. With a bow, Jessica turned before pointing at one of the chairs. Yoona and Yuri pulled Young Jae towards it before forcing the poor boy into the seat. Young Jae had attempted to get up, but Yuri instantly pushed the male back in before Yoona came back and put the usual things that hair dressers usually put on their customers. Jessica stood calmly in front of a slightly panicking Young Jae as she bent over and poked both of Young Jae’s cheeks. “Don’t worry, Young Jae! We’ll make you nice for your date tonight!” (J)
“W-What date?!” (YJ)
“Oh, you’ll see. Just stay still so that it comes out good!” (J) Young Jae’s eyes widened the second Jessica pulled out a pair of scissors from the nearby drawer. Young Jae shut his eyes tightly as the three began getting to work on Young Jae’s hair. “Your hair has gotten pretty long Young Jae. Look! Your bangs already reaches past your nose!” (J)
Young Jae could feel Jessica combing his hair to where it was now straight down instead of to the side like he usually had it. He wrinkled his nose a bit as he tried to keep himself from sneezing or feeling the itch that hair usually made him feel. “N-Noona... y-you’re going to make me sneeze..!” (YJ)
“A-Ah! Sorry about that! We’ll get to work! Trust your noona!” (J) Young Jae nodded before keeping perfectly still. He kept his eyes shut the entire time as he heard the sound of scissors working away at his hair. Young Jae hoped that the three make his hair look nice. He rarely ever had a different haircut from what he usually got, so this was definitely going to be a new experience for him. Hopefully a good experience.
“So.. Young Jae. What did you want to know about me?” (J) Young Jae thought for a moment. He had prepared questions this morning, but the index cards that he had brought with him were in his back pocket and.. well, he didn’t want to move. Luckily, he had a few questions at the top of his head to ask.
Sadly, a question that he hadn’t thought of protruded its way out of his mouth.
“U-Um... w-what’s your bra size..?” (YJ) Jessica gasped as she pulled the scissors away from Young Jae’s head. Young Jae instantly wanted to bury himself underneath a pile of blankets. He couldn’t believe what he had just said! Why did he just ask such a erted question?! It was entirely embarrassing and it made no sense whatsoever for him to have asked such a question!
“W-What?! Young Jae! You’re a ert?!” (J)
“N-Noona! I.. I didn’t mean to ask that! Really, I didn’t!” (YJ) Young Jae soon felt the knuckles of a fist hit the top of his head, causing him to attempt to reach forward. Sadly, Yoona and Yuri had stopped him in order to keep the hair on the apron from flying all over the place. Though, Jessica chuckled slightly before rubbing the spot where she had hit.
“It’s fine. You’re just lucky that you’re so adorable! Now, do you have any OTHER questions to ask that aren’t privacy invading?” (J) Young Jae heard the sounds of scissors a slight second later. He was glad that he was let off the hook. Taking this time, he thought for a moment as to what a good question would be. This time, he wouldn’t be asking such an embarrassing question.
“D-Do you have a boyfriend?” (YJ) Young Jae could hear Jessica humming just a bit in an attempt to think. Was it too much of a personal question for him to have asked? Still, judging by Jessica’s continued cutting, it seemed like she was fine with it.
“Nope. I do not. Why do you ask?” (J)
“I-I was just curious, noona.” (YJ) Jessica lightly tapped the top of Young Jae’s head before smiling a bit. Young Jae really was such a cute boy. He seemed all too innocent, minus the whole bra size innocent just a moment ago. She looked at the other two before smiling just a bit.
“What color should we dye his hair?” (J) Young Jae shook his head, though Yoona quickly put her hands up to stop Young Jae. Luckily, Jessica had pulled the scissors away before snipping, otherwise she most likely would have messed up at that moment. “Young Jae, stay still!” (J)
“I-I don’t want my hair dyed!” (YJ)
“Don’t worry. I think brown hair would look good on you.” (YA)
“Brown? What about blond! I heard from my mom that blond people are always happy!” (Y)
“Okay, you know what.. We’ll just dye it blond and dye strands here and there brown!” (J) Young Jae wasn’t liking this. He didn’t want to dye his hair. In fact, he was completely fine with having black hair, but he couldn’t really help it. When he was out numbered by three girls, it really did seem like his say in all of this wasn’t going to count as much.

“There... all done!” (J) Jessica turned the chair around, letting Young Jae face the mirror. He finally opened his eyes before closing them again and rubbing at them slightly. Once it finally felt alright, he opened his eyes again as he blinked a few times. His eyes widened as he stared at himself in the mirror, moving his head this way and that as he admired his new hairstyle. “What do you think?” (J)
“I-It looks good, Noona. Do you always cut hair?” (YJ) Young Jae looked up at Jessica, whom smiled happily. Young Jae was certain that Daehyun had said that Jessica was a fashion designer, so not once had it crossed his mind that Jessica would know how to do hair.
“I cut hair whenever the opportunity rises. I usually make myself learn all kinds of things fashion related. I even do Daehyun’s hair.” (J) Young Jae stared up at Jessica in awe before looking back into the mirror. It was strange that he really liked it when he originally didn’t even want his hair dyed in the first place. With a smile, he looked up at Jessica once again.
“T-Thank you noona! I-It looks really nice!” (YJ)
“Good! Now we have to do your wardrobe and make up.” (J) Young Jae’s eyes widened as he was quickly cleaned up by Yoona while Jessica went over to the counter to pay for everything that had been used. Young Jae looked up at Yuri, whom was happily singing to herself while moving her arms around, as if she was conducting a symphony.
“U-Um... what did she mean by wardrobe a-and make up..?” (YJ)
“Well, we do have to pretty you up for your date!” (YA) Wait, date? What date? Young Jae had heard of it earlier, but he hadn’t questioned it for some reason. Before he could really wrap his mind around the situation, Young Jae was being pulled up onto his feet and was now being dragged away once more. “Don’t worry, Young Jae! After tonight, Daehyun will never want to keep his hands off of you!” (YA)
“W-What do you mean by that..?” (YJ) Nothing else was said as the three girls all smiled happily. Young Jae couldn’t help but bite his bottom lip as he continued being pushed and dragged forward.
Seconds turned into minutes as the four of them finally made their way into Jessica’s room. Opening the door, Jessica stepped in first before making her way over to the dresser that was near her bed. Standing next to it, Yoona and Yuri moved Young Jae over and sat him down into the seat. “Okay. You two do his make up while I go get him some nice clothes to wear. Young Jae, what are your sizes?” (J)
“U-Um..” (YJ)
“I’d say you’re about Daehyun’s size, so I’ll be right back.” (J) Without even waiting for another word to be spoken, Jessica was out of the room once again. Young Jae looked at each girl through the mirror as they begun looking through the make up kit that was sitting atop the dresser. He really wasn’t sure on whether this was a good idea or not, but he felt rude if he tried to reject the kindness that they were showing him.
“Should we put blush on him?” (Y)
“No.. I think it’ll make him look too pretty. We don’t want him to look TOO pretty! All the guys will want to take him away from Daehyun!” (YA)
“Oh.. you’re right. Daehyun will get too jealous if guys try to hit on Young Jae..” (Y) Almost instantly, and idea popped up in Yoona as she gave a mischievous smirk. Young Jae couldn’t help but worry as Yoona pulled out one of the many blushes and examined it. Yuri looked over at Yoona, a curious look coming onto her face as she looked at the blush in Yoona’s hands. “I thought you didn’t wanna put blush on him.” (Y)
“I changed my mind! We’ll make Young Jae the most prettiest boy ever!” (YA) Young Jae could feel the scary aura emanating off of Yoona. Young Jae froze in fear as Yoona began chuckling evilly, holding out whatever it was the make up tools that she currently had. “Okay Young Jae... stay... still...” (YA)

“Okay, I’m back! I’m pretty sure Young Jae isn’t Daehyun’s size since... W-Woah! What did you two do to Young Jae?!” (J) Jessica gaped as she moved up as close as possible to Young Jae. Her eyes roamed all over Young Jae’s face, completely surprised by Young Jae’s transformation. Young Jae turned a bit red as he shyly attempted to move his face away, but Jessica only moved to continue looking at him. “Wow! He’s so pretty! But now.. I don’t think these clothes suit the make up placed on him.” (J)
“Should we redo it then?” (YA)
“It’ll take a lot of work but... nah. I think it’s fine. We’ll just change the make up a bit and it’ll be perfect. We still have about two hours left before their date.” (J)
“W-Wait.. what date? I-I still don’t know what date y-you’re talking about..” (YJ) Young Jae had yet to be given any sort of details about what the date was about. He hadn’t agreed to going on a date, but if Daehyun had agreed to their date, then it was alright if Jessica, Yoona, and Yuri dressed him up.
“Well, today’s Daehyun’s birthday! So a perfect date has to be in order!” (J) Wait. It was Daehyun’s birthday today?! Young Jae had completely forgotten about it. He looked down at the ground with a sad look on his face, but Jessica only smiled as she lifted Young Jae’s gaze a bit. “Don’t be so glum! I’m sure it’ll go well. You’ll make him smile the way you always do.” (J)
“O-Okay Noona.” (YJ) While Yoona began fixing Young Jae’s make up, Yuri and Jessica went off to the side where Jessica was now dumping the bag of clothes onto her bed. Young Jae took the time to think and figure out how he had forgotten that it was Daehyun’s birthday today. He was certain that it wasn’t until another few weeks, but if Jessica was saying otherwise, then that meant that it had to be true. Luckily, he had already prepared Daehyun’s birthday present two months in advance, so he didn’t have to worry too much about not showing up with a present. Still, he had hoped to be able to bake something for Daehyun’s birthday.
“There. What do you think about this, Young Jae?” (YA) Yoona moved out of the way as she let Young Jae examine himself in the mirror. He didn’t exactly know what to think about it. Make up wasn’t exactly his specialty and in his opinion, almost anything looked good. “I think it looks good. Come on! Let’s go get you your outfit!” (YA)
Pulling Young Jae off of the seat, she dragged the male over to the other two, whom were currently trying to decide on what outfit to go with. The second Young Jae was within reaching distance, Yuri took a hold of Young Jae’s shirt and began tugging at it. Almost instantly, Young Jae turned a bright shade of red as he grabbed at his shirt and tried to keep Yuri from pulling it off. “I-I can change m-myself!” (YJ)
“Oh come on! Don’t be shy!” (Y)
“Yuri, just let him change himself!” (J) Yuri pouted as she slowly pulled away. Young Jae smiled sheepishly as he bowed his head slightly to Jessica. Jessica smiled as she held out the first outfit for Young Jae. “Okay, go into the bathroom and change into these. Come out when you’re done, alright?” (J)
Young Jae nodded as he made his way into the bathroom with the clothes in hand. The second the door closed, Jessica and Yoona let out a small sigh of relief before turning to look at Yuri. “Yah.. Yuri. Why were you trying to change Young Jae yourself?” (J)
“I couldn’t help it.. Young Jae reminds me of a little kid.” (Y) Jessica and Yoona couldn’t help but agree with Yuri’s statement. Of course, they still knew better than to try and change a grown boy. It was a complete invasion and privacy after all.
A few minutes had finally passed before finally, Young Jae came out of the bathroom in his new outfit. He was red as he attempted to use his previous clothes to cover himself. The black jeans he was wearing was really REALLY tight and practically showed off everything. Even though he was wearing a black jacket with golden studs all over the place, the shirt he was wearing wasn’t necessarily a shirt. In fact, it was just a fishnet! “U-Um.. A-Are you sure I should wear t-this..?” (YJ)
“Of course! Look at you! It looks perfect! It really makes your skin pop!” (YA) The three girls all smiled happily as they made their way closer to Young Jae. Yoona quickly took the clothes from Young Jae’s hands as she closely examined Young Jae. Young Jae attempted to shy away, but it was rather difficult whenever Yoona pulled him back in. “I think Daehyun will really like this.” (YA)
“I-I don’t know about this.. I-It’s a little too revealing..” (YJ)
“You should know by now that Daehyun LOVES revealing stuff.” (J) Young Jae knew that Daehyun liked revealing clothing, but that didn’t necessarily mean that Young Jae liked wearing them. Okay, so he had gotten a really revealing bathing suit for Daehyun, but he regretted it later! Is this fate’s way of getting back at him..? “Anyway, come on. Since you’re ready, we should go to the dining hall.” (J)
“I-Is that where the date will be?” (YJ)
“Where else did you think it would be?! Let’s go!” (Y) Taking a hold of Young Jae’s hand, Yuri quickly began pulling Young Jae along. In a matter of seconds, the pair had disappeared out into the hallway. Jessica sighed as she smiled a bit, placing a single hand on her hip as she lightly scratched the side of her head.
“It’s time we go pretty up Daehyun now. I already told him to shower, so he should be nice and clean by the time we get to his room.” (J) Jessica turned to Yoona, whom looked back at her. She eyed the clothes in Yoona’s hands before looking back up at her. “Go get Daehyun, will you? And make sure to drop off Young Jae’s clothes too since they stay in the same room.” (J)
“Okie-dokie! I’ll be back in a few minutes!” (YA) Yoona saluted before running off out into the hallway. Jessica smiled as she made her way over to the dresser and took a seat. With a sigh, she examined herself in the mirror. How did she plan to do Daehyun’s make up? She had already chosen the wardrobe for him, but she hadn’t exactly decided on how to do Daehyun’s hair nor makeup. She did want to make Daehyun just as stunning as Young Jae after all.
She closed her eyes slightly as she leaned her head back a bit. Jessica had only been able to rest her eyes for a few minutes until she heard her door open. “Alright, Alright already! Stop pushing, we’re already here!” (DH)
Jessica opened her eyes as she got up and turned to look at Daehyun and Yoona. As expected, Daehyun was currently wearing a plain white t-shirt, black and white plaid shorts, and black flip flops. His hair was currently wet, but it was evident that he had been out of the shower for quite some time. “Are you ready Daehyun?” (J)
“For what? And where’s Young Jae? He isn’t walking around , right?” (DH)
“What? Of course not! And you’ll see him soon enough. Come, sit here and we’ll get started.” (J) Daehyun wasn’t entirely sure what was going on. No, wait. Scratch that. He had a clue as to what was going on and oddly enough, he was alright with it. As long as Young Jae wasn’t showing off his body for everyone else to see, then he was completely alright with whatever it was that his older sister had planned.
Walking over to the chair, Daehyun took a seat as he turned and faced the mirror. Jessica plugged in the hair dryer as she got to work on Daehyun’s hair while Yoona worked on Daehyun’s make up. “What is this for anyway?” (DH)
“Oh.. nothing. Just for fun is all!” (J) Daehyun knew his older sister better than that and sadly, it really was the kind of answer Jessica would normally give. With a sigh, Daehyun sat still as he waited for the two to finish whatever it was that they were doing. He knew how long these kinds of processes would take and in a way, it was a good thing that there were two people instead of one.
About half an hour to an hour passed before Daehyun was finally done and fully dressed. Daehyun stared at himself in the mirror, completely confused as to why he had allowed himself to be dressed up by Jessica and Yoona. His hair had been curled here and there, he was wearing a black long sleeved shirt with a fishnet back, and he was wearing tight, black leather pants. Turning to his older sister, Jessica only smiled and gave a small shrug, almost as if she knew exactly what Daehyun was about to ask her. “Come on, let’s get going. Can’t let the man of your dreams wait any longer!” (J)
“What are you talking about? Can’t you at least tell me what’s going on?” (DH)
“Nope! It’s a surprise, little one! Come on, get going!” (J) Jessica turned Daehyun around and with Yoona’s help, the pair began pushing Daehyun along. Once he got his black dress shoes on, the outfit was complete and the trio were now making their way down the hallway. “He should be in the dining hall right now.” (J)
“Who?” (DH)
“Who else?! Young Jae, of course!” (J)
“Wait. Why is he in the dining hall?” (DH)
“You’re going on a date with him! Myungsoo told me that there was going to be a band playing tonight and that a fancy dinner was being hosted, so we dressed you and Young Jae up! You two will make everyone jealous!” (J)
“But wait.. what about you? You’re not going to get dressed up?” (DH) Jessica scoffed as both her and Yoona continued pushing Daehyun along. By now, Daehyun was walking of his own free will, but apparently, Jessica and Yoona didn’t quite seem to notice that just yet.
“I’ll be there later. I already have Yuri and Myungsoo in place to watch over Young Jae!” (J) Wait, watch over Young Jae? What did Jessica mean by that? Daehyun couldn’t quite put a finger on it, but he decided against prying any further. If it meant that Young Jae was safe, then it was probably for the best. “Are you nervous?” (J)
“About what?” (DH)
“Your date with Young Jae, you pabo!” (J) Daehyun thought for a moment. Sure, he had been told just mere seconds ago about the date, but after being reminded again, it finally hit him. Daehyun was actually going to go on a date AND Young Jae was prettied up this time. Okay sure, Young Jae was always going to be the best looking person EVER, but just the fact that his looks had been intensified was starting to make Daehyun feel a bit nervous.
And probably a bit intimidated.
Would Young Jae be okay with how Daehyun looked? Would Young Jae be swooned by someone else and possibly want to leave Daehyun? Daehyun wasn’t liking the thoughts that were starting to swirl around in his head. Why was he thinking about all of this anyway?! Young Jae couldn’t possibly leave him for someone else.. right? Daehyun couldn’t imagine it and yet, he ended up managing to do so somehow.
Furrowing his eyebrows, Daehyun knew what he had to do. He had to make sure that the date went well and that Young Jae had a fun time. Sure, they’ve been dating for a couple of months now, but that didn’t mean that he could stop making sure that Young Jae had fun. Quite the contrary, in fact! Daehyun always wanted to make sure that Young Jae was having a good time.
Sure, there have been times where he had failed Young Jae. Yes, those times had hurt his own heart many times, but he always tried to make up for them! This was just one of those many times where he could possibly make up for his mistakes. Daehyun was quite thankful that Jessica had come up with such a plan like this.
The trio came to a stop in front of a pair of double doors that led to dining hall. Now that they were here, Daehyun was turned to look at Jessica, whom smiled a bit. Jessica could see the excitement and the nervousness on her little brother‘s face. “Are you ready?” (J)
“Can’t you at least give me a hint on how Young Jae looks?” (DH)
“No, I can’t! It’s a surprise! Now, get in there!” (J) Daehyun let out a sigh and nodded before turning to look at the double doors. Taking in a deep breath, he placed his hands on the double doors and pushed them open.
The sound of music quickly met his ears as he stepped in.

I dont' know why it took me more than a week to get this up ;;
I already started on chapter 43 in hopes of getting the chapters up sooner >.<..
So I apologize for any and all inconveniences ;;
I know this isn't much of a chapter buuut...
At least they're all prettied up now. x3
Even though they're pretty with or without makeup/hair styled...
But yay >3<..
