“Daehyun... if you were ever reborn again.. what do you want to be reborn as?” (YJ) Sure, Young Jae was a person whom looked towards the logical sense of things, but at the same time.. he couldn’t help but believing in all kinds of things. After all, if they can’t prove that it doesn’t exist, then how would they know if it really doesn’t? Sure, that didn’t make much sense, but it did to Young Jae.
“If I was reborn..? Hm..” (DH) Daehyun thought about it for a moment. Was this a trick question of some sort? Well, it was probably be to just be honest about what he felt like becoming reborn as. “I’d want to be reborn as anything.. as long as I get to be with you.” (DH)
Young Jae turned red once again. Daehyun just seemed a bit too good at making him feel embarrassed. Luckily, Young Jae had his back turned to Daehyun and was currently chopping some vegetables up, though.. it probably didn’t really matter if Daehyun saw him blushing. After all, Daehyun has seen him blush way too many times to count. “Y-You’re just saying that..” (YJ)
“Maybe. Anyway, what about you? What do you want to be reborn as?” (DH)
“A tree.” (YJ) Daehyun sat patiently, waiting for a reason as to why Young Jae wanted to be a tree. After a few seconds of awkward silence though, it was quite evident that Young Jae wasn’t going to be giving his answer unless Daehyun asked.
“Well? Why do you want to be a tree?” (DH)
“O-Oh.. Uh.. because then.. I’ll always be next to the people I love.” (YJ) Daehyun thought for a moment. That sounded eerily familiar. Why did that line sound familiar to him? Daehyun shrugged his shoulders as he decided to just drop it for the time being. It didn’t matter since Young Jae was just so cute anyway. “I almost forgot.. you never said what your father does.” (YJ)
Okay, he saw Young Jae as.. almost cute. He just really wished that he had completely forgotten about his parents. Daehyun let out a small sigh. Should he really talk about it? No.. he didn’t want to. “I.. I don’t want to talk about him.” (DH)
“Why not?” (YJ)
“I.. I just don’t. Can we drop it..?” (DH) Young Jae turned to look at Daehyun, seeing the solemn look on his face as Daehyun’s gaze remained on the floor. Young Jae did want to know why Daehyun didn’t want to talk about his father, but he decided against prying into it.
“O-Okay.. we can drop it.. I’m.. I’m sorry for bringing it up.” (YJ) Daehyun looked up at Young Jae, whom only continued to look at him. Daehyun gave a small smile before he got up from his seat and made his way over to Young Jae, wrapping his arms around Young Jae’s waist before lightly kissing Young Jae’s lips.
“It’s okay..” (DH) Daehyun pressed his forehead against Young Jae’s as he slowly closed his eyes. Young Jae was beginning to turn red, but seeing how calm Daehyun looked only made Young Jae smile as he decided to wrap his own arms around Daehyun. “I really like it when you hold me also..” (DH)
“Why..?” (YJ)
“Because then I know.. that you really like me too.” (DH)

One way or another, Daehyun had ended up deciding to take a nap while Young Jae cooked. About an hour or so had passed before Young Jae had finally finished cooking. One way or another, he decided that he probably should wake Daehyun up since he had been so excited to eat earlier. Making his way over to Daehyun’s bedroom, he quietly knocked before opening the door slowly.
“D-Daehyun..? The food is ready..” (YJ) Peeking his head inside, he spotted a sleeping slump underneath the blanket. Stepping inside, he quietly made his way over to the bed before sitting down and placing a hand on the lump. “D-Daehyun... W-Wake up now... The food is ready..” (YJ)
Sadly for Young Jae, he wasn’t going to be able to wake Daehyun like this. With Jessica’s usual antics, anything less would just not do to wake the male up. After a few minutes of soft speaking and slight shaking, Young Jae took a hold of the blanket and slowly began peeling it off of the sleeping male.
He stopped at first when he saw the peacefully sleeping form of Daehyun. He wasn’t sure before, but now that he saw Daehyun’s head, he could tell that the male was sleeping on his side. Young Jae smiled a bit as he looked at his boyfriend’s face before he continued peeling the blanket away. He instantly turned red the second he saw Daehyun’s bare shoulder and back exposed to him.
He was sleeping shirtless?! Young Jae didn’t know how to feel about this, but he was definitely embarrassed. He had seen shirtless men before, it wasn’t foreign to Young Jae but.. since Daehyun was his boyfriend, it just seemed to make him feel completely embarrassed. “D-Daehyun...y-y-yah... wake up..” (YJ)
Nothing yet again. Should he remove more of the blanket? The cold might be enough to wake Daehyun after all. Young Jae took in a deep breath before he pulled a bit more of the blanket off of Daehyun. His eyes only seemed glued on Daehyun’s body, trying to take in as much as he could possibly see at least until.. he froze. Daehyun wasn’t.. wearing anything.. at all.
Young Jae couldn’t help but stare at Daehyun’s bottom, or at least.. just the slight top portion of it. After a few seconds had passed, Young Jae finally brought the blanket back up to cover that part of Daehyun, letting out a deep sigh. “Did you like what you saw?” (DH)
Young Jae fell off of Daehyun’s bed the second he heard Daehyun’s voice. Daehyun sat up, looking down at Young Jae with a slight brow raised while Young Jae stared up with a completely red face and wide eyes. He couldn’t think straight. He just couldn’t come up with a reason as to why he had been staring at Daehyun’s body.
“I-I-I-I-I...” (YJ) Daehyun chuckled as he reached forward and ruffled Young Jae’s hair a bit.
“It’s alright. You weren’t expecting me to sleep . I.. I rarely ever get to sleep since Jessica wakes me up in the morning. A-Anyway.. why did you come in? Is the food ready?” (DH) Young Jae was completely at a loss for words as he just nodded his head vigorously. Young Jae really had not expected Daehyun to just up and sleep while he had company over! It was something that just didn’t seem to be done!
Daehyun was about to lift the blanket off of himself to get up, but he noticed that Young Jae only continued to stare at him. Daehyun felt a bit uncomfortable with him staring like that, but then again.. he did technically do the same thing with Young Jae. Though.. he didn’t do it while Young Jae was . “Are you going to watch me get dressed?” (DH)
Somehow, Young Jae’s eyes only seemed to get wider as he shook his head. However, instead of getting up from his seat, he stayed frozen in place. For some odd reason, he just couldn’t bring himself to moving out of the room to let Daehyun have his privacy. Daehyun chuckled a bit. Sure, he felt uncomfortable showing himself in front of other people, but he was going to have fun teasing Young Jae a bit. Daehyun slowly began standing up, the blanket slowly sliding off his body even more and Young Jae’s gaze instantly lowered to where the blanket was revealing.
“You want to see?” (DH) Young Jae’s face, if it wasn’t already, was basically as red a tomato by now as he quickly shook his head. However, his gaze just seemed to betray him as he stared at the hairs that would soon lead to Daehyun’s private parts. “You sure about that? You seem quite.. interested.” (DH)
As more of the blanket slowly slid off Daehyun’s body, Young Jae instantly forced his eyes shut. Young Jae then quickly turned around and forced himself out of the room. Daehyun chuckled a bit as he took his clothes out from underneath the pillow he had been sleeping on and quickly got dressed.

Young Jae began fanning himself as he leaned against a nearby wall in the living room. He was definitely not ready for something like this! It was definitely all too soon for him and he really hoped that Daehyun would understand that.
His heart nearly jumped out of his chest as he felt a hand placed on his shoulders. Young Jae quickly shut his eyes again, adding extra fortification by placing his hands over his eyes. However, he heard Daehyun chuckling before he felt Daehyun place his hands over his own. “I’m dressed, I promise.” (DH)
Hesitantly, Young Jae slowly peeked through his hands before he let out a sigh of relief and let his hands drop to his sides. Daehyun definitely was dressed and he was very glad that he was. “P-Please.. don’t do that again..” (YJ)
Daehyun chuckled again as he ruffled Young Jae’s hair before he went over to the couch and laid in it. Young Jae debated between following Young Jae to the couch or going into the kitchen, but.. he ended up going with the latter choice. Going over to the food, he quickly prepared the various dishes up before he set them all up on the coffee table.
“You wanna watch a movie?” (DH)
“S-Sure... what kind..?” (YJ)
“Well.. Let’s see.” (DH) Daehyun picked up the nearby remote, pressing the power button on it and springing the television to life. Going through the various options, he finally got to the screen where the movies were before he stopped and thought for a moment. “Here. You can go through the movies. I’m going to go get something in the kitchen.” (DH)
Young Jae nodded, taking a hold of the remote control while Daehyun went into the kitchen. Young Jae, sitting in the same couch as Daehyun now, thought for a moment. What kind of movie would Daehyun like? Though, a thought came to his head. Maybe he should look through their history. That way, he had some sort of idea as to what kind of movie he would like to watch.
It took him a few seconds to figure out the controls, but once he did, he finally got the screen to look at the view history. Young Jae instantly turned red as his eyes widened at the pictures and titles of the three last movies that had been watched. The first one had a woman on the cover and.. well, she was revealing herself. The last two though, both had shirtless men on it. Whether they were or not, he couldn’t tell since the pictures only showed the top portion of their bodies.
Still, he instantly assumed that Daehyun must have been the one watching these. Is this.. what Daehyun normally watched? Scrolling down the titles, he could see that the titles changed from a bunch of normal movies, then to , then more normal movies. He bit his bottom lip as he changed it back to where the main menu was. He.. really didn’t know how he felt, knowing that his boyfriend watched .
Daehyun finally returned to the living room, a bright smile on his face as he placed various snacks and such off to the side of the coffee table. He sat down next to Young Jae before looking at the television screen. “Uh.. you didn’t pick a movie yet?” (DH)
Young Jae looked sheepishly downwards as Daehyun looked over at him. Daehyun grinned as he placed an arm around Young Jae’s shoulders. “It’s alright. You still have time to pick! There’s lots of movies, so pick a good one, okay?” (DH)
Young Jae nodded, but he just couldn’t seem to take the idea of Daehyun watching and... just the idea of him shirtless just sends Young Jae over! The fact that he actually sits here, possibly and.. touching himself. No, he had to stop! Young Jae forced those thoughts out of his head as he began scrolling through the movies. As Young Jae did that, Daehyun sat on the ground as he began eating the food that Young Jae had brought over.
“What kind of genre do you want to watch? Maybe I can help pick.” (DH)
“U-Uh... um.. I-I’ll just keep looking. Just eat.. o-okay?” (YJ) Daehyun gave an okay sign before he refocused on his plate of food. Young Jae, with his thoughts sadly still on the whole thing, unintentionally ended up picking the category. Daehyun, noticing this, nearly choked on his food before looking at Young Jae.
“W-What are you doing?” (DH) Young Jae looked at the screen before his face lit up and he quickly pressed the back button, moving away from that category. Daehyun chuckled a bit as he placed a single hand on Young Jae’s thigh. “If you’re in the mood.... we could always... you know...” (DH)
“I-I-I didn’t mean to pick it! I-I’m not.. I-I mean I..” (YJ) Daehyun chuckled a bit as he moved his hand away before standing up a bit. He placed a knee inbetween Young Jae’s thighs as he leaned in towards him. Placing a hand on Young Jae’s chin, he placed his other hand on the back of the couch to keep himself from falling forward.
“Are you sure you’re not in the mood?” (DH) Daehyun smirked a bit as he looked into Young Jae’s eyes. Young Jae’s face remained red as his eyes widened. What was he supposed to say? He didn’t want to do anything yet, but his private parts seemed to be saying otherwise. Still.. he had to stop it before anything happened.
“I-I can’t..” (YJ) Daehyun smiled a bit before pulling away and sitting back down onto the floor. He looked up at Young Jae, whom still stared at him with a bit of confusion on his look. “T-That’s alright.. if I.. don’t want to?” (YJ)
Daehyun raised a single brow, now questioning Young Jae. What, did he think Daehyun was the type to force things onto people? Sure, he would accept a person’s offer of paying for his food in a heartbeat, but that didn’t mean that he was going to force anything onto people. “Of course it’s alright! I’m not going to force you into doing anything you’re not ready for.” (DH)
“T-Thank you.. Daehyun..” (YJ) Young Jae smiled happily now, knowing that his boyfriend would wait patiently for him to be ready.

It didn’t take Young Jae much longer before he finally decided on a movie. He had decided to go with a romance movie since he rarely ever watched them anyway. It seemed like a good idea, but the movie he had picked was also a sad one. Young Jae’s attention had been on the movie the entire time, really immersing himself in the story line while Daehyun’s attention kept shifting between the movie and Young Jae. This made Daehyun want to learn more about what people did in the romance movies, just to see what usually swept people off their feet so that he could win Young Jae over.
By the time the movie was halfway over, the food had already been finished off, leaving Daehyun with nothing left to eat. He didn’t mind, but he did wish that there was just a bit more food to eat. But, he didn’t care as long as Young Jae was alright.
Finally, the movie was over and Young Jae was a sobbing mess. Daehyun had never seen Young Jae this way and it amused him, in a good way. He placed an arm around Young Jae and slowly rubbed his arm in an attempt to calm him down. “It’s okay Young Jae. You don’t have to cry anymore.” (DH)
“I-I know.. b-but.. i-it was still sad..” (YJ) A few minutes passed before Young Jae was able to calm himself down. Once he had cleaned himself up, he sighed and sat there with a small smile on his face. “That was a really good movie. I-I’m glad I was able to watch it with you.” (YJ)
“I’m glad too. Is there anything else you want to do today? We still have a few hours before night.” (DH) Young Jae thought for a moment. He wasn’t really one to go out, so he wouldn’t really know what else there was to do. He gave a small shrug, before he smiled a bit.
“I don’t really know. What about you?” (YJ)
“Let’s go for a walk.” (DH) Young Jae thought for a moment before nodding. Both getting to their feet, Daehyun took a hold of Young Jae’s hand as the pair left the apartment and made their way outside.
Once outside, Daehyun tightened his hold on Young Jae’s hand as they slowly began walking down the sidewalk. Daehyun already knew exactly where he wanted to bring Young Jae. Hopefully, Young Jae would like where he was being brought to. It wouldn’t be long, but at least they were having a nice walk to get there.
“Um.. Daehyun..” (YJ)
“Hm?” (DH)
“Um.. how come your parents haven’t shown up at the apartment?” (YJ) Daehyun let out a soft sigh. He wasn’t going to get angry at Young Jae fro being curious. Though, he wasn’t really expecting Young Jae to be asking about his parents so often.
“They live somewhere else. I’m actually living with Jessica at the moment.” (DH)
“Oh... why?” (YJ)
“Let’s just say that... I don’t really like my parents.” (DH) Young Jae slowly nodded before he turned his attention back to where he was walking. He knew better than to pry, so he decided against asking more about it. “What about you? What do your parents do?” (DH)
Young Jae perked up a bit when Daehyun had decided to ask about his parents. Would it make him sad though? Still.. it was probably best to answer his question. “My mom works as a nurse and my dad is a manager for his friend’s restaurant.” (YJ)
“What.. What do you plan to become when you pass university?” (DH)
“I want to be a doctor. I.. I like to help people and if I become a doctor, I will be able to help those in need. What about you?” (YJ) Daehyun thought about it for a moment. Actually, this was probably the second time he has thought about his future. He had wanted to become a dancer, but he wasn’t sure if he would be able to make it as one. Young Jae at least had a set goal, but what about him?
“I.. I don’t really know yet. I’m thinking of becoming a dancer but... I feel like I need a backup plan.” (DH) Young Jae nodded. He had actually thought Daehyun would become a dancer, since he seemed to like dancing so much. Though.. he also never thought that Daehyun would be the type to doubt his own abilities.
“Well.. maybe you can become a dance instructor if you don’t become a dancer.” (YJ) Daehyun nodded slowly as he thought about it. At least it wouldn’t be a waste to his dancing abilities and it seemed like something that he could do. He grinned and ruffled Young Jae’s hair, causing the male to look at him with surprise.
“You really are smart! I would have never thought about it.” (DH) Young Jae turned red and smiled a bit as he nodded. Daehyun thought for a moment. He wanted to treat Young Jae to something special, but.. what should he do? Thinking back to the movie they just watched, the couple had started out with their one week anniversary. Should he do the same thing? Usually, couples had one-hundred day anniversaries, but... maybe a one week anniversary could suffice for now.

A few minutes of walking and they finally reached their intended destination. Young Jae looked around a bit, his eyes wide with awe as he looked at all the various plants that were in the greenhouse. “W-Wow... I-I’ve never seen so many plants in one building..” (YJ)
“Good. That means I’ve done good! Now, let’s look around. They sell plants here and.. I want to get you a very special plant, so.. let’s pick something together.” (DH) Young Jae smiled happily as he looked at Daehyun, nodding a bit too eagerly.
The pair looked around as they continued walking, their hand warming the other’s hand as they held their grip just tight enough on each other. Young Jae looked around with both curiosity and happiness on his face while Daehyun only watched him with a small smile. “See any that you like?” (DH)
Young Jae looked up at Daehyun and nodded a bit. Just as he looked back down at one of the plants, his eyes widened a bit as he pulled Daehyun up to the plant. Letting go of Daehyun’s hand, he crouched down and examined the plant more closely before looking up at Daehyun. “What do you think of this one?” (YJ)
“It’s perfect... Of course, it doesn’t compare to you.” (DH) Young Jae turned red and smiled a bit before looking back at the plant. Picking up the potted plant, he stood up and looked happily over at Daehyun.
“But why did you want a special plant?” (YJ)
“Our one week anniversary is tomorrow, but.. I wanted to get it today.” (DH) Young Jae nodded before smiling and wrapping his arms around Daehyun. Daehyun, not used to Young Jae being the first to hug him, chuckled a bit before wrapping his arms around him. “What made you want to hug me?” (DH)
“Because you’re a very good boyfriend too!” (YJ)

Young Jae looked down happily at the plant that he held in both hands as the pair walked out of the greenhouse. Daehyun wrapped an arm around Young Jae’s shoulders as he led the male down the sidewalk so that Young Jae could continue to happily look at his new found plant. “You really like that plant.” (DH)
“Y-Yea! B-Because we picked it together..” (YJ) Young Jae’s smile just didn’t seem to want to leave his face and oddly enough, he wasn’t blushing for once. Sure, Young Jae had technically been the one to pick it, but did he have to know that? No. If it made him happy, then Daehyun would do anything to make him happy.
“Good. Then it can be our baby.” (DH) Daehyun chuckled the second he saw Young Jae’s embarrassed expression once again, staring up at him as Daehyun continued leading the way. “Yep. It can be our love child. We just haven’t done the love part yet.” (DH)
“D-Daehyun.. t-t-that’s too much..” (YJ) Although Daehyun said something embarrassing, Young Jae still smiled as he looked back at the small plant. “B-But.. o-okay... it can be our baby.. What should we name it...?” (YJ)
Daehyun began laughing, Young Jae looking up at Daehyun with his face reddening. Did he say something embarrassing? Did he do something wrong that had caused Daehyun to start laughing like that? “W-What did I do wrong..?” (YJ)
Once Daehyun had calmed himself down, he looked at a still confused Young Jae and smiled. “No. You didn’t say anything wrong. What you just said was... really cute. That’s what I like about you.” (DH)
Young Jae looked back down at his plant as he smiled. He quickly bit his bottom lip in an attempt to calm himself down, but he somehow only ended up smiling even more. “T-Thank you..” (YJ)
“Hm? For what?” (DH)
“The compliment..” (YJ) Daehyun pulled Young Jae in even closer, resting his head on Young Jae’s. The pair walked liked this the entire time, or at least.. until they got back to the apartment.

“I should probably go home before it gets dark..” (YJ) Young Jae looked towards the window, where the sun was starting to set. He was worried since he hasn’t been out this late without his older brother or his parents before. Though, Daehyun didn’t want to hear it.
“Can’t you stay over? You could sleep with me and everything! It’ll be like.. a slumber party!” (DH) Young Jae turned red at the thought of sleeping in the same bed as Daehyun. Sure, he slept in Sungyeol’s bed sometimes and sometimes Myungsoo would sleep in his bed whenever he stayed over, but.. he didn’t know.
“Um.. I-I don’t know.. a-are you going to sleep again..?” (YJ) Daehyun raised a single brow as he looked at Young Jae. Should he again or should he just tell him that he wouldn’t do it? Nope. It was much more fun to tease his cute boyfriend. Walking up to him, he placed both hands on his shoulders and looked at him with the most seductive look that he could muster up.
“I can.. if you want me to.” (DH) Young Jae instantly turned red, trying to come up with words that just seemed to not want to come to him. He bit his bottom lip, trying to get the image of Daehyun’s body out of his head.
“I-I-I d-don’t know if I do..” (YJ) He didn’t know? This definitely caused Daehyun to think that Young Jae probably saw a little too much of his body and probably wanted more of it. Of course, he didn’t really mind. Young Jae was his boyfriend after all! Sure, less than a week in the relationship, but his boyfriend nonetheless.
“I’m just kidding. If you don’t want me to, then I won’t do it.” (DH) Young Jae smiled as he nodded, causing Daehyun to smile in return before pulling away. He had taken only a few steps before turning to look at Young Jae. “So you’ll sleep over today?” (DH)
“U-Um.. o-okay... I will.. but.. I-I didn’t bring anything with me..” (YJ) Young Jae normally showered at night, but he didn’t have a towel nor a change of clean clothes. He didn’t even bring his toothbrush either, so he didn’t know how much of this plan that he was liking so far.
“Oh, you can just borrow from me.” (DH) Young Jae looked up at Daehyun, a bit confused as to what he meant by that. What was he going to borrow? Did Daehyun have a new toothbrush that he could possibly use?
“What do you mean by that?” (YJ)
“You’ll just use all of my stuff.” (DH) Daehyun smiled a bit as he took a hold of Young Jae’s hand and began walking towards his bedroom. As they walked, Young Jae had to think about that for a moment. Use all of his stuff? Like what? Though.. it finally hit him what he had meant.
“I-I can’t do that! I-I mean I would need to use a t-towel.. and clean clothes.. a-and a toothbrush and toothpaste.. a-and..” (YJ) Daehyun turned around and brought a finger to his lips before smiling a bit.
“It’s okay. We’ll just share my things.” (DH) After some time had passed, Daehyun had finally persuaded Young Jae into using his things. Daehyun didn’t really mind, but Young Jae still didn’t think it was a good idea. He hadn’t even shared such things with Myungsoo or Sungyeol before, so... he just hoped that it was alright.

I think this is the first chapter..
Where DaeJae is actually alone.
I mean in the next chapter, Jessica will show up since she lives there..
Buuut still, definitely the first chapter where they finally get some alone time. xD
And... they learned a bit more about each other >3<..
Okay, for Young Jae.. it's very embarrassing stuff buut..
It's still learning of their future spouse. -/cough-.. xD ]]
