CHAPTER TWENTY –The Most Complicated Thing in The World

(Author’s POV)

After the dramatic situation on that day, their relationship got better and better, as if they enjoyed their honeymoon very much. In the last day on Jeju, they went to one of the best restaurant there, enjoyed their last night. “Jeju is very beautiful, don’t you think so?” Jieun started the conversation, smiled brightly. “Despite that accident, you’re right.” Wooyoung answered and pointed at his head, as they both laughed.

“This restaurant is full of the couples.”

Wooyoung nodded, agreed with Jieun’s words. “And we as well, right?” Jieun blushed and pinched Wooyoung’s cheeks, made him surprise. “Don’t try to be a romantic guy!”

“But, I am indeed a romantic guy.” He uttered, took the roses from nowhere and gave it to Jieun, made her couldn’t help but blush again. “Where do you get it?” She asked, tried to hid her blush face. “From your heart.” He answered, made Jieun changed her expression to be emotionless. “Don’t be cheesy. It’s making me want to puke.”

They both laughed again. “Did you do this to Suzy too?”

Wooyoung changed his expression to pouted. “She’s my past. Don’t bring up about her anymore. Now, my present and future is you.” Jieun giggled and smacked Wooyoung’s head, made him groaned. “Cheesy!”

“But you like it, don’t you?” He asked, succeed to make Jieun blushed. Slowly he let his head moved closer to Jieun’s, made her surprise. “Don’t say that you want to kiss me again.” She stared at Wooyoung, as he laughed and shook his head. “I want more than that, Jieun. We already did the kiss for more than five times, didn’t we?”

She blushed. “Then, what do you want?”

“Our precious night.” He whispered right into Jieun’s ears. Other people beside them maybe thinking that he’s kissing her right now. Jieun blushed again, looked the floor nervously. “But… don’t we move to fast, Woo? We’re still 18.”

“Then? We already married, and I’m sure that we both have a feeling toward each other, right?” Jieun blushed again, didn’t sure what to answer. And so did Woo. Eventhough his first love and first kiss isn’t Jieun, but he still held the best part of him, his ity. And he would just do it with someone that more special than a crush. Someone that more special than any species in this world, and that someone is the one who sitting in front of him right now. His destiny.

Jieun still didn’t answer it. The side of her wanted it too, but the other side of her embarassed about it. “I… I…” She wanted to answer, but she seems speechless, expecially while Wooyoung is eyeing her gently like this.

Finally she nodded, let a smile appeared on Wooyoung’s face. He kissed Jieun’s forehead, as they both smiled at each other.

(Jieun’s POV)

After we came back to the hotel and got ready to sleep, the situation changed to be awkward. I still couldn’t imagine how that we can do it. Believe me, but I’m an innocent girl! Eventhough the boys and girls from my school in France normally have do it at least once, but I still held the Asian’s habbit that I would never ignored. And now, I couldn’t help but gulped again when realized that this day had come.

Wooyoung slowly lied down beside me, as if what he did for almost a week of our marriage. “Are you ready?” He asked, but his voice seems that he himself still not ready about it. I tried to not eyeing him directly, felt nervous with a sudden.

“I take that as an agreement then.”

He continued to say, took a deep breath. Oh God! I can’t do or say anything. It seems that my nerves are all gone without any trace. Left my body alone in the darkest place. With him. What can I do? This situation… is very awkward for me. Please bury me to the deepest part of this world now!

“Umm, Jieun-ah?” I encouraged myself to look at his face, as he did the same to me. “Just forget that. I’m sure that we’re not gonna be ready yet.” He answered. Somehow it makes me dissapointed, but somehow it makes me relieved too. Slowly I nodded, started to close my eyes and slept. So this time is fail too?

(Wooyoung’s POV)

After that awkward night, we prepared all the suitcases and went to the airport. Today will be the last day for us to enjoying the wonderful Jeju. “Bye, Jeju.” I could hear Jieun’s words, made me chuckled at how cute she is. After we arrived at Seoul, our parents have waited us in the airport with Jiyoung-hyung. “How about your honeymoon?”

“It’s very beautiful, eomma!”

Jieun commented, smiled brightly and hugged her parents.

“It’s not what we wanna hear, honey. We asked about your honeymoon, not the situation in Jeju.” Mom said, with Jieun’s mom’s nod. We both stared each other nervously. Our parents must be very dissapointed if they know if we don’t do anything specific, because I’m sure that their first purpose to arranged the honeymoon for us is what they wanna hear right now. With a little acting, I moved closer to Jieun and wrapped my hand around her shoulder. “Don’t ask that question, mom. You make her blush hard.”

Jieun looked at me with confused-stare, as I whispered to her when everyone didn’t pay attention to us. “Just move on my plan. I’ll explain it later.”

“So you both really did it?!” They all looked at us with a surprise face, as I smiled and nodded slowly. “Jeju is such a romantic place, so we can’t help it. Right, Jieunnie?” I uttered, stared at Jieun carefully. She gulped and looked at me before nodded to our parents, made them looked so happy. “Ahh! Our plan has worked!”

When Jiyoung-hyung said that, Jieun eyed me and said a verbal words that she understood what I meant. “Lee Jiyoung!” Our parents gave Jiyoung-hyung a sharp stare, as if he’d revealed the biggest secret of the world.

“Now let’s go home. We’re tired.” Jieun said, as they nodded and we came home. “Jiyoung-oppa, why don’t you stay at our house?” Jieun asked, gave him a puppy eyes. “But, I don’t want to disturb you both.” He answered, pouted at us. “Don’t say that, hyung! You never disturb us.” I helped Jieun to say, as Jiyoung nodded and we both jumped happily. So we ended to leave in our house with the three of us.

In the lunch time, we all sat and ate without said much words. “So two days later, you both will go to the campus, right?” Jiyoung-hyung started the conversation, as we both nodded. “You too, right?” Jieun asked him, as he nodded too. “Taeyang and Yuri will do the same too.” He continued, made Jieun choked with a sudden. I gave her a glass of water as she eyed me carefully.

“Jieun-ah, do you still…?” Jiyoung-hyung looked at Jieun, but he stopped his words when realized that I’m in there too. “Yes, she does, hyung.” I answered, tried to be as normal as I could. He eyed me and Jieun constantly, as if we’re the weird creature or something. “Do you know it?” He asked me, as I nodded slowly.

Eventhough it’s the reality, my heart still aching hard if realized that Jieun still has the other person in her heart, and I’m not the only owner of her heart. I know that me myself still don’t know am I have forgotten Suzy or not, but at least I know that I began to loving Jieun. And it’s not just Jieun and Suzy. I still have the other person in my heart. Someone that I can’t find yet after many years passing by. For that reason, me of course can’t blame Jieun if she has the one she loves too.

(Jieun’s POV)

When Jiyoung-oppa mentioned the name ‘Taeyang’ and ‘Yuri’, I couldn’t help but choked. I already tried to forget him for this whole week, but when he mentioned them again, it’s like he put the salt into my wound. And it hurts so much.

But when Wooyoung gave me a water, the guilty came back into my mind. I knew well that he knew if I still couldn’t forgotten Taeyang-oppa. I’m sure he knew that my heart is still with other person. Eventhough I began to loving him, but this feeling can’t be erased as fast as I wished. And maybe, eventhough I will success to forget Taeyang, I still can’t sure that he can be the owner of my heart fully.

“Ehem! I’m sorry for bring that kind of stupid conversation. Let’s talk about something more important than that.” Wooyoung nodded and tried to smile, as I did the same.
