That very afternoon, Yonghwa’s father came to the hospital. The look of concerned and worried reflected on his aged face. Yonghwa and Minhyuk looked nothing like their father, Seohyun thought. Their faces are all cheery and happy but their father is the complete opposite.

“You must me Seo Joohyun” he said without a smile on his face; merely a saddened face greeted her at the hospital entrance.

“Yes I am. Nice to finally meet you sir” she bowed. “Yonghwa ssi is waiting for you at the hospital therapy garden”

He simply nodded. “Lead the way please Miss Seo Joohyun”

It was probably the most awkward five minute walk from the entrance to the garden. The silence was deafening and only their slow and steady footsteps registered in her ears. Seohyun turned to the old man next to her and she could see him perspiring. Clearly he was nervous. After all he hasn’t seen Yonghwa ever since he left Yonghwa at the orphanage. That triggered anger in Seohyun.

“I’m sorry for being rude but why did you leave him at the orphanage?” Seohyun asked bluntly making the old man stop on his tracks. “Why didn’t you start this family reunion years before? Why only now? You have no idea how much he had suffered growing up without anyone”

She tried not to sound disrespectful after all this man is Yonghwa’s father but her words clearly failed her. She has no care about this man’s feelings. All she cared about is getting answers straight from this man’s mouth.
