CHAPTER 2

“Chaerin-ah” I saw Bom said out loud while raising her hands for me to notice her.

“Unnie! Sorry I wasn’t able to catch up on you guys a while ago, I woke up early”

“Figures”

“But guys I wanted to tell you something”

“What?” They all said in unison

“On my way to school I bumped into this guy because I wasn’t looking an---”

“Wait is he handsome?! Wait... tall or short??”

“Dara-unnie can you wait until I finish?”]

“Okay, okay”

“Good, so at first I ignored him then suddenly my phone vibrated and it was Bom-unnie, so thank you unnie you finally gave my life back!”

“And, and, and!?”

“I looked into his face and halleluiah I have never seen a handsome face like his ever! Then suddenly all of these mangoes on his hands were rolling on the ground.”

“Mangoes?! Why mangoes??”

“Unnie how the hell would I know that?!”

“Do you his name unnie?”

“I’m glad you asked minki. I’ll tell you WHY I’ am such an idiot!”

“Can someone tell me I knew that you’ll say that?”

“Just listen okay! I forgot to tell my name to him.”

“But do you his name?”

“Of course! And that what makes me less stupid^_^”

“Then what’s the handsome man’s name then?”

“Seunghyun, CHOI SENGHYUN!” I said out loud and I mean totally out loud and all of the girls suddenly looked at me but not all, at least majority.

“Choi Seunghyun?!” all of them said at the same time.

“YUP!”I said in the most proudly way. “Do you guys know him then?” 

“Were you able to talk to him?”

“Yeah!even his voice is so handsome! Who ever knew that was even possible?!”

“OMG Chae this is definitely not a joke! How were you able to tell to him!?”

“Guys you may think that I’m not capable of doing anything because of my shyness but I put it aside and had the guts to talk to him^_^ ” I said again in a proudly way.

“What did you actually said to him unnie?”

“I just asked him if he also studies in YG HIGH cause his uniform is quite familiar.”

“Do you know what that means Lee Chaerin?!”

“What?” I asked in a very curious way.

“He never talk/s to any random girl you know.”

“Then maybe he’s interested in me?”

“Don’t be an idiot Chaerin-ah who would you think, no offense but how would you imagine Choi Senghyun going out with a girl having a very nerdy look that is not even smart! Well at least you’re not weird right?”

“OUCH Bom-unnie! I thought you guys will be supporting me... ”

“Well don’t worry unnie we will help you with him!”

“No, thank you Minki. The last time I remember you guys helping me was going into the boys bathroom to give him his notebook back which was not even his! Now that is what I call EMBARASSING!”

“But I want to help you unnie. And... I just bought something. It’s a book” she took it out from her bag and gave it to me.

“I don’t know what to do with it so I thought I should let you borrow it first! The first step is to make sure that you’ll find the guy that you like THAT doesn’t seem interested in you so this is what’s gonna help you!”

“Who knew baby Minki would have these kind of things in her bag!” said Bom

“You’ll never know, you know. And besides we are already High School.”
Even though we are at the same age we still call each other unnie or thinks like that.

“Lunch is done already? Well that was fast.”

“I’ll see guys later at the main entrance okay?”

“Sure”
As I was on my way to my next class I overheard some girls talking about Seunghyun.

“Have heard about Choi Seunghyun?”

“Yah, I heard he is extremely handsome”
I felt like I wanted to tell them to back off, I found him first anyway! But It’s better to back off FIRST I don’t want to be cleaning complexes after the first day of school

“I heard that he is a sophomore and his classroom is just the room above us.”

“Let’s check him out later!” 

“OKAY!!”

Urghh these girls just don’t know there limits... 

“Class please take your seats and keep quiet”

15 minutes as passed and I’m TRYING to listen to my teacher, I just can’t take it anymore I need to see him badly! What’s the use of taking English classes anyway! English class is probably the easiest class ever. A lot of my classmates hate English but I don’t because it’s the only class that I don’t fail in. 

“Ms. Lee Chaerin A+. Don’t feel too happy okay? You have a lot of classes to make up on its still the first semester.”

“Sheesh so much for embarrassing me.”

“What is that Ms. Lee?”

“Um.m.. nothing, may I go out Miss kim?”

As I saw her nod her head I immediately went out of the room. Instead of going to the girls CR I went to the second floor (kekeke those losers I beat them again!!). It’s quite hard for me to find my way but I was lucky to find my destination. I realize a noisy sound from a classroom coming nearer and nearer maybe a teacher-student fight while the other students laugh. Then I heard a teacher shouting saying”step out of my class right now.” I was quite curious so walked quicker to see it clearly. A boy went out of the classroom looking like I-not-afraid-of-you-b*** to the teacher. He went to wall near the windows and raised his two arms looking like I-surrender-type. As I try look at him more…

“Seunghyun?” He looked at me smiling (Oh my gosh Lord save me!)

“Ah! Your the girl I met earlier.”

*laughs* “Why are you here?”

“Well I should be the one asking you that freshmen.”

“The name is Chaerin.”

“Then why are you here CHAERIN?”

“I’m on my way to the clinic.” Silly excuse AGAIN

“Okay. Nice knowing your… name then?”

*laughs* I nodded at him and made my way to the stairs to go back to the classroom.As I got inside the classroom.

“Lee Chaerin what have you been doing? You have been out for the past 9 minutes!”

“Sorry Ms. Kim I kinda got lost in my way to the clinic”

“Okay, since less than a minute is left before dismissal, you’re dismissed.” Well I’m quite lucky to kill some time. I dashed out of the room and went to the main entrance to meet the girls.

“Guys *catching my breath* I have… finally told him… my name…”

“When?”

“Just right after the class after lunch”


“So how was he? Did he seem interested in you?”

“Well I don’t know, I’m not used to these kind of things”

“I think this is the best time to try and check out the… 10 WAYS TO VICTORY unnie!”

“Is it really effective?”

“We won’t know until we try right?”

“Okay, I think it’s better to discuss this tomorrow I’m quite sleepy and today is day dad’s letter will be delivered.”

“Then tomorrow after school it is.”

“Bye guys!”

“Bye, see you tomorrow!” Then we went in our separate ways as soon as we got in the village.

“Mom I’m home!”

“Chae darling dads later already came.”

“Really? I wanna see, I wanna see!” I opened to letter and read it out loud.

Dear Chaerin,
Are you healthy? Have you been eating well? How is your school work doing? Do you get high grades? I hope you do. I really want to come home to Korea already but I can’t, my boss said I have to stay for another 5 years.And with that I want to make a deal with you, I, MISTER LEE, FATHER OF LEE CHAERIN WILL SENT YOU AND YOUR MOM A TICKET TO CANADA AND LIVE WITH ME AND, LET YOU FINISH STUDIES AND LEARN YOUR ENGLISH BETTER. I’LL EVEN SEND YOU TO A GOOD ACADEMY (YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BECOME A SINGER RIGHT?) IF, ONLY GET THE NUMBER ONE SPOT IN THE FINAL EXAMS THIS SCHOOL YEAR .So with that I want you to study well okay? Make daddy proud!

“Dad's gonna give us a ticket to Canada if I will take the number one spot?! That’s easy I’ll just have to study and study and study then!”

“How can you raise to number one from number 62?!”

“Can you have a little fate on me mom? By the way, I’m hungry”

“I thought you’ll be STUDYING?”

“I will! AFTER I eat^_^.”

“Okay, okay… go to your room and I’ll send you your snack okay?”

“Thanks mom” I said as I kiss her cheek and went to my room holding dads letter.

I tried you know! I really tried but I just can’t concentrate! I keep thinking of Seunghyun… The way he talks, the way he moves and the way he LOOKS! But on the other hand I need to study to make my dreams fulfilled even though their is still A LONG LONG WAY. I suddenly remember the book that Minki gave me. I took it out from my bag and read it

10 WAYS TO VICTORY: 
-Make sure you have chosen the guy you want to do this to. Make sure to him only. It will be a disaster in the end!

-Have folder with all the information you’ll need but don’t go overboard. It’s better to not go too personal

Now for the real deal. Try looking at him and don’t look away when he looks back at you just stay calm, this can test him on how he looks at you. Observe his action. When he only looks once that’s okay for a start since you still haven’t done anything from the book on him. Always remember to follow the instructions in order! After this step proceed to step one.

FIRST STEP: MAKEOVER!! Try look in way that he’ll be attracted to.BLAH BLAHBLAH

How the hell will this THING help me? Guess I’ll be needing the girls help then…

Author’s note:
You may get confused that CL failed in her test even though its only the first day of school, its was about her entrance exam and she failed but the school gave her a chance but she must have a high grade to be able to stay at YG HIGH. Sorry if it wasn't added, i didn't know where to insert it in the story.

In the next chapter is where you’ll see a little change in CL and more interactions with SKYTEMPO. You may think why GD and BEAST still hasn’t come out yet. There is still quite a long way before they will be mentioned. Hope you enjoyed it!
