Baekhyun's POV

The drive back to the mansion was silent and maybe a little awkward? The driver had the radio to listen to some music, which drowned out the much of the silence. I mainly looked out the window as we drove by.

I think it felt awkward because of what was said at the photoshoot. They all commented on how good we looked and that we could be together. Even though we weren't.

I kind of wish though. But I don't think Mi Na is ready for a relationship

Once the car came to a stop in front of the mansion, Mi Na was the first one to get out the car. I couldn't blame her why. She probably felt anxious to get out of the car as she might have felt the awkwardness more than I did.

"Why did you guys have to make it awkward?" I asked them

"We didn't mean to," laughed Suho as he placed his hand behind his head signaling he was embarrassed.

"Come on," I said following Mi Na who was already on her way towards the main entrance of the mansion. One of the butlers opened the large iron door to let her in.

"Noona wait for me!" yelled Sehun running over to catch up to Mi Na.

Aish that maknae!

"So what is this clearing?" Kyungsoo asked. I had almost forgotten all about it if he didn't mention it. Then it got me thinking of why Mi Na would be heading inside if the clearing is on the side towards the forest.

"You'll see," I responded

"You've already been to it?!" Lay asked in shock.

"Uhh yeah," I said a little embarrassed.

"I have been there too!" chimed Luhan happily.

"Hush!" I said

"Jealous? Oh! There's these cute little cat looking things!" Luhan chimed as he seemed to have remembered the little creatures that Soo Min created by accident.

"Lombaxs Luhan. Lombaxes," I said sticking out my tongue.

"Lombaxes?" asked Tao dumbfounded.

"You'll see them," I said smiling. Remember the two lombaxes that escorted us towards the mansion.

We made our way towards the side of the mansion as we followed the path towards the forest that leads to the clearing. I kept looking towards the back entrance of the mansion to see if Mi Na would come out, but that only made me more anxious than what I already was.

Moments later, Mi Na comes outside with her sister Soo Young. It would seem like she went to change before coming back outside towards the clearing.

"Oh there you are," Luhan said as he stopped to wait for her.

"Yeah sorry, I had to change out of my clothes," she said shyly before taking the lead towards the forest followed closely by Soo Young.

As we all followed behind them, the forest seemed so calm and not scary like it did the first time.

"Larry! Lisa!" yelled Mi Na as we approached the entrance to the forest.

"MI NA!" they yelled back as they jumped down from one of the trees.

"What is it?" Mi Na asked as she squats down. It seemed like she picked up on something from them.

"Humans!" they said throwing themselves into Mi Na's arms.

Mi Na got up with both of them burying themselves into both of he shoulders like babies would do with their mother.

I couldn't help but smile at them but at the same time, I was a little worried about why they were acting that way.

"Those are lombaxes?" Tao asked as he inspected them. He got close to Mi Na as he touched their long furry tail.

"Careful now," Lisa said as she turned around to face him.

Tao jumped back in shock as he stumbled and ended up landing on his . Instead of yelling out in pain he looked at Lisa mortified.

"D-Did it just talk?" he asked pointing at Lisa.

"Well duh. What do you expect? For us to meow or something? And I'm not an 'it'. I'm a she. My name is Lisa for your information," Lisa said matter-of-factly at Tao as she hung onto Mi Na.

Suho went over and helped Tao up. Like a good mother that Suho is to his son.

"Lisa? You can talk?" Tao said as he dusted himself off. I don't know why he wasn't understanding that fact at all.

"Yup. Do you have a problem with that?" she asked still glaring at him.

"No. It's just weird,"

"Whatever," she said turning back around. I just saw Mi Na smiling at the interaction.

"They're Soo Min's creations. But they managed to become my best friends as well. They are now living among this forest," explained Mi Na to everyone else who didn't see them.

"But they weren't here when we were hundreds of years ago," said Minseok trying to make sense of the situation.

"He created them 100 years ago to please me," Mi Na voice seemed to have faltered for whatever reason.

"Oh. I see," said Kris nodding as if he knew everything.

Maybe he does know? 

I walked over to Mi Na who was still holding the two lombaxes. Lisa looked up and she immediately smiled.

"Baekhyun!" she said jumping from Mi Na's arms into mine. I was surprised at first but then I held her so she wouldn't fall.

"That's strange Lisa usually doesn't like guys. Especially newcomers. That's why she was cold towards you Tao. Sorry," Mi Na shrugged as if he should have known.

"It's because I like him. Not like him as in like him. But I like him because he is nice," smiled Lisa as she buried her furry face into my shoulder.

I couldn't help but smile. She reminded me of a cat. An oversized talking cat.

"So what is this about Humans?" Mi Na asked Larry as she shifted his weight in her arms.

"There are humans in the forest,"

"Impossible,"

"But there is!" Larry protested.

"How?" Mi Na grew angry and confused. I too worried about how in the world did humans end up in the forest. This forest was off-limits to outsiders.

"I-I don't know. They somehow just got in,"

"Are you sure they're humans? You know this forest is forbidden to humans. Unless..."

"Unless what?" I asked

"Unless they could be fallen angels," said Mi Na whispering it.

"Fallen Angels? I thought that most of the population was in America?" Kyungsoo asked confused.

"Some managed to come here and other places in the world. The only one that I know personally is Jaejoong but he's a half-fallen angel and half Vampire," 

"We know," said Kris thinking

"You do? Well, do you know any other Idols that could be fallen angels?"

"No. We thought to be an Idol you had to be a vampire. Jaejoong is the exception since no one knew," said Minseok also starting to think.

"They're not fallen angels," said another voice coming out the forest. We all whirled around to see who it was.

"Woah I'm not going to do anything jeez," said the unnamed Lombax who was walking towards us.

"Ace," Larry tensed up at the sight of him.

"Hello everyone. I'm Ace," smiled the Lombax showing his sharp teeth.

"What brings you here? You never go far from your home," said Mi Na glaring at the lombax.

"I know. But I thought I'd help," he said crossing his arms.

"They're so cute!" chimed Sehun jumping up and down.

"Excuse me?" Ace looked offended at the comment.

"He doesn't like being called cute," said Mi Na laughing.

Lisa seemed to have fallen asleep in my arms as she grew heavier by the second.

"Um, Mi Na is she asleep?" I asked turning around to show Mi Na.

"Yup. Hand her over to Sehun-ah so he can calm down," said Mi Na smiling mischievously.

"Here Sehun-ah," I said handing him the sleeping Lisa.

"Aww how cute!" he whispered as he started to pet her and she seemed to get more comfortable in his arms.

"See?" smiled Mi Na as she continued to carry Larry who was glaring at Ace.

"How are you going to help us?" I asked

"Well for one. Those aren't humans nor Fallen Angels. They're vampires," said Ace

"Vampires? But why would they go through the forest?" asked Chanyeol

"I don't know that. But all I know is they mean no harm. I can lead to you them to show you and you can take care of the rest," said Ace

"How do we know that this isn't a trap?" asked Larry

"It's not. Do you think I would do that? I care for this forest as much as everyone else. Please Larry don't let our little rivaly get in the way of this situation," said Ace knocking some since into Larry

"Fine. Lead the way," he said jumping out of Mi Na's arms.

"Do you guys want to go? I can just get Soo Min-Oppa and Soo Young-Unni to come with-"

"Already two steps ahead of you sis," said Soo Young running towards us.

"Unni!" said Mi Na happily.

"We heard from Larry earlier. We thought we'd wait for you. But looks like you brought reinforcement," smiled Soo Min

"Alright then. Let's go! Try to keep up alright?" winked Mi Na towards us.

"She winked at me!" said Lay smiling.

"No me!" said Chanyeol

"Uhh what do I do with Lisa?" asked Sehun looking around

"Here," said Soo Min

He pulled her off and shook her.
