Yuri's POV

After that day, all I did was get high. I spent all my money. I even sold the company stocks to get the drugs.

I drove back to the house that night and found my parents sitting on the living room. I saw the stern look on my Dad's face and the worried look on my Mom's. But the truth is, my heart is too numb right now to feel anything.

"Yuri, sit down“ My father said.

I can tell in his voice that it's not good and I think I know why.

"What is this?!“ He threw the small plastic bag filled with white powder.

I didn't answer. They must have searched my room.

"Since when?!“ My Dad yelled.

"Yul, answer your Dad“ my Mom said, trying to calm my Dad down.

"Don't call me that“ I raised my voice, instantly feeling guilty for yelling at Mom. Only Sica can call me that. Only her. Even if she doesn't love me anymore, no one can call me that "Sorry...“ I apologized to Mom.

"I asked our accountant, you sold our shares! Do you even know what you're doing?! We have no money left!“ My Dad was screaming.

I didn't answer and tried to grab the drugs.

My Dad tried to stop me, trying to take back the drugs from my hands. My Mom cried seeing how we fought.

The pain on my cheek made me let go of the small package in my hand. My Dad just slapped me.

She was crying in my room, I felt sorry for her.

I smiled bitterly.

I didn't notice how my Mom went pale. I kept on sobbing "I need her. It hurts too much without her. The drugs, they make me forget. They lessened the pain. She told me she loved me, she told me that we were going to be together forever. She lied. It was all a lie“

I lifted my head as I heard my Mom say, "She never cheated on you. It was my plan. I made her promise to stay away from you in exchange for the operation“

I couldn't believe what I just heard.

Mom was crying as she spilled out the truth "I found out that her little sister gave birth to a baby with a heart defect, that they needed to operate on her. I promised her I would pay for the operation if she breaks up with you and to stay away from you“

I shook my head in disbelief and covered my ears "No....NO“
