"Hyunnie! You are awake!" A bright smile instantly etched on Sunggyu's lips as he jumped up onto his feet and flung himself to him.

Woohyun flinched at his embrace before he pushed Sunggyu away much to his surprise. Sunggyu broke loose from the hold and stared at him questionably, not understanding his resistance towards his hug. Woohyun looked back at Sunggyu oddly and cocked his head to his right asking, "Who are you?"

Sunggyu wided his eyes in shocked.

"D.. Don't joking around, Hyunnie? What are you talking about?"

"Are you deaf? I said who are you, ajhussi?" Woohyun said coldly.

"A..ajhussi?" Sunggyu raised his voice.

"He was injected by AVx. He is now is no more like a seven years old child." Selovia came into Woohyun's room.

"What do you mean by that, aunty?" Sunggyu asked quizzically.

"Let's talk outside. I'll tell you all."

Sunggyu looked at Selovia anxiously before turned his gaze to Woohyun who was still looking at him with a who-the-hell-you-are look.

"I'll be back, Hyunnie. Don't be afraid. Okay." Sunggyu said with a sweet smile then peck Woohyun's cheek before followed Selovia. Strangely, instead feel afraid, Woohyun felt warm and his cheeks burnt.

Myungsoo and Sungyeol were already waiting for them in the living room while the little Myungchan was peacefully sleep in Myungsoo's room. They were gathered in Myungsoo apartment.

"What?! A seven years old?!" Sunggyu exclaimed in absolute shock while closing the door behind him. Everyone jaws dropped by an inch.

"You are telling us that Woohyun's mentality now is similar to a child?!" Myungsoo said in a big surprise.

"I'm afraid that's the fact now." Selovia said softly.

"Aunty, please tell me what's going on? I need you to tell me the truth, please. What had happened before made me insane. Why all of sudden I have the power like that? What happen to me? And who is that guy?" Sunggyu said with a bit upset.

"I think this is the right time to reveal it all." Selovia sighed heavily as she continued. "That man is Jing. He along with your father was the founder of MIA. MIA is a place for well trained and talented mutant. Before worked for KISS, me along with your mother worked for Jing and your father as scientists. Your mother was the best scientist in MIA. AVx is one of her research. Anyone who get injected by this drug will lost his mental till some limits and in his case, Woohyun was turned into a seven years old."

"Is this AVx dangerous drug?" Sungyeol asked.

"Well, besides altering the person mind to a child, it's nothing dangerous. The drug last for 6-7 days."

"Is it just like that simple? And what about my power? Who am I? What past that Jing mentioned before?" Sunggyu asked again. Selovia paused for a while before answered.

"You're one of talented mutant from MIA, Gyu, a cryokinesis, your ability is to control ice. Your mutant genes were came from your father. I was lied when I said that your father was a doctor. Actually, your father was a hydrokinetic. He was one of the omega level in MIA and also the very best friend with Jing. Earlier, MIA was built for the special child who have special genes and ability.  Our goals are to promote the peaceful affirmation of mutant rights, to mediate the co-existence of mutants and humans, to protect mutants from violent humans and to protect society from antagonistic mutants. But then lengthy debates were held by your father and Jing regarding the consequences humanity faces with the rise of mutants. Jing realized that his and your father's views were incompatible. But Jing desired to eventually dominate the human race as he viewed humans as an outdated species that no longer deserves its continual domination over the world. Jing then reorganized MIA and fought your father. He rebelled against your father and reduced him to infancy. He set a plan to get rid of your father and your mother then take place MIA. He provoked the other mutants to be on his side by telling them that human hate mutants and soon later MIA turned into a killer mutants academy. After your parents died, I took you away from MIA. But unfortunately, our car got crash. You lost your memory but not with your mutant ability. I tried so hard to protect you and your past especially your ability. You often asked me about why I injected you periodically, don't you? That was a serum to reduce your mutant power. I didn't want you to endanger yourself and being caught by Jing. That's why I hid this matter from you. I'm sorry, Gyu." Selovia explained with guilty and sad voice. Sunggyu and the other just stunned there. They, especially Sunggyu didn't know how to react.

"And why did Woohyun look surprise whe he saw you? Did you know him before? And why he could know my childhood name?" after keep silent for a while, Sunggyu blabbering her with ton of questions again.

"When your parents were still alive, a seven years old boy was sent to MIA, his parents said that he was a demon child because his arm could grow after got cut. And we found out that that child was an accelerator, the power to heal his body. We accepted him in MIA. But because of his past and his parents refusal, he became a loner and being uncontrolable. He refused to talk, to study and to socialize with another mutant. He even beat them and hurt another child. We almost can't stand it anymore. So we decided to isolate him on special room He was the most stubborn mutant ever. Until that day he met you. You had changed him, Gyu. He became more friendly and started to open up."

"So that's mean Sunggyu is Woohyun's childhood friend?" Myungsoo questioned. Selovia nodded.

Flashback

He survived a month of useless schooling. Because of his bad behavior and bad temper, he was not allowed to participate in regular classes. The academy had specially designed several programs by which he attended in alone. The little boy had no interest at surrounding him. He hadn't spoken a single word to anyone for the past three years and his memories were as empty as his thoughts.

Leaning against his garden biggest tree, he glanced up at the soft, diffusing sky. It was the beginning of dawn, where the day welcomed its first light but his heart and soul remained trapped in complete darkness. He absorbed nothing. He could not hear the early bird cheerily chipping or smell the sweet opening of the morning glories. Even the comforting sunlight brought no warmth.

"Wah!!"

Suddenly, Woohyun felt something heavy landed onto him from above. It had hit him hard and he was pinned below it with his lips locked against it's, into a firm kiss. At this, his eyes snapped opened from shock and he found himself staring up into a pair of a pair of hamster eyes.

The golden object hastily pushed itself away from his chest, "Mianhe! Mianhe! I didn't mean to land onto you! I was watching the sunrise at the top of the tree and I fell! I'm really sorry!" A little hamster boy with red hair was kneeling before him as he apologized frantically.

Woohyun sat back up, blinking a few times in confusion. He did not understand what had just happened. He reactively touched his lips, his eyes not leaving the stranger who stole his first kiss. But strangely, his lips felt warm.

"Did I hurt you anywhere?!"

Woohyun saw his eyes anxiously scanning through his body for any injuries. To that hamster boy relief, he didn't find any and smiled.

"I'm really sorry!" he apologized again. "You saved me! I would have fallen to my death if it wasn't for you!"

Woohyun remained silent, his charming face was expressionless. All he could do was stare straight at that hamster boy. For years, he spoke no words and held no emotions, he did not know what to feel or react at his apologies.

Seeing his unresponsiveness, the little hamster boy panicked "Eh?! Did I hurt your head?! Let's… Let's call an ambulance!"

Woohyun got up uncaringly and turned away with the intention to head back in.

"Yaa..Wait!"

He heard the hamster boy called out but he did not stop for him.

The hamster boy then made a quick dash forward and stopped right in front of him, blocking his path. That hamster boy stretched out his hand to him offering a handshake, but all Woohyun could do was stare at his hand, unable to figure out what that hamster boy wanted to do.

The hamster boy boldly reached and grasped onto his. "Hi, I'm Gyu-gyu. Will you be my friend?"

He looked at his big smile til his hamster eyes were gone, an expression in which he had never seen before.

"What's your name?" Gyu-gyu asked keenly.

Name? No one called him by his real name. And what was friend? He unconsciously flung his hands away and continued his path into the house.

"I will come again tomorrow!" he heard the hamster boy shouting to him before he closed the door.

No, he wouldn't. There was no reason for him to be here. He glanced out of the window, and as expected, the mysterious hamster boy was gone. But strangely his images and voices still remained locked in his head. He closed the curtain believing that he would never see him again.

End of Flashback

Sunggyu was stunned there. No words came up from his mouth.

"Are you okay, Gyu?" Selovia asked as she touched Sunggyu's shoulder. He blanky stared back at Selovia. When he was about to open his mouth, the door of Woohyun's room was cracked open, revealing the crying Woohyun. Everyone turned their gaze to the crying boy.

"Ajhussi, I'm afraid sleeping alone. Can you sleep with me?" Woohyun said as he rubbed his eyes and sniffing. He then walked towards Sunggyu and held his hand as he dragged Sunggyu to get into his room. Sunggyu was obediently followed him.

Inside, Sunggyu was trying to get Woohyun back to sleep. But Woohyun just peered at Sunggyu with his adorable dark orbs not wanting to shut his lids on him. Sunggyu lying on Woohyun side while facing him giggled at his innocent stare. Woohyun had him to forget about crazy things that had happened.

To Sunggyu, the present of Woohyun looked irresistibly adorable imitating his actions. When Sunggyu blinked, Woohyun blinked. When Sunggyu sat up, he followed accordingly. When Sunggyu laid back down, he did the same. Sunggyu couldn't help but laughed crazily. His child-like behavior suddenly reminded him of his childhood time. Sunggyu still couldn't recall his memory clearly but when he looked at Woohyun, he felt his missing piece was slowly turned back to its place. Sunggyu flipped over to Woohyun, finally deciding to stop his silly games of tempting Woohyun to imitate him even though he enjoyed it very much, "Hyunnie-ah, why don't you sleep? It's really late now."

Woohyun poked his head out of the blanket and stared at Sunggyu for a moment, "I don't want to sleep. You will leave me if I did."

"No, I won't!" Sunggyu exclaimed sitting back up and as expected, Woohyun followed. "Don't be silly. Why would I leave you?"

"Because I am a monster." He explained simply, drawing his legs into his chest. "Mommy left me. She said she'll be back, but she didn't. I heard the uncles said mommy doesn't want me anymore because I'm dangerous. They said I am a monster, that's why no one wants to be with me. That's why they left me alone."

Sunggyu winced when he heard Woohyun sniffling softly. The pain he felt surging through his body almost as if their bodies were linked. Sunggyu gazed sadly at him for a while before wrapping his arms around Woohyun, taking in that he was actually hugging a young man, not a child. Sunggyu felt his firm muscles and a body that overpowered him, but inside Sunggyu sensed Woohyun's weak, broken heart.

Woohyun stiffened at his embrace but he didn't shove Sunggyu away this time. Strangely, he felt warm all over, but why? Woohyun lifted his face up from his knees and turned towards Sunggyu. His watery eyes were seen enlarging when he saw Sunggyu's bright smile. At that point, it was an expression that he had never seen before.

"You are not alone." Sunggyu whispered to him. "Though, I may not be your mother or any of your relatives that you want to be with, still I want you. If possible, I want to be with you forever and see the sunrise with you everyday. That's my selfish desire."

He looked back at Sunggyu, the sadness in his eyes were replaced by confusion. He couldn't understand this stranger at all, but somehow he felt very comfortable just by looking at his smile.

"Why?" He asked in a small voice, cocking his head slightly. "Aren't you afraid of me? Everyone is, even mommy."

Sunggyu just smiled back as he positioned him back down into his lying posture. "Let me tell you a little secret."

Sunggyu paused, tugging Woohyun under the blanket and laying back down to face him. "The truth is I never quite understand what happiness was, till I met you."

Sunggyu smiled as he immediately placed his index on Woohyun's lips preventing him from asking 'why'.

Sunggyu paused for a few seconds before flipping over and placing his hand on Woohyun's cheek. Woohyun's eyes enlarged with a faint blush as Sunggyu settled his forehead against Woohyun's. "The first sight I saw you seemed so mysterious and yet, I felt that we are the same somehow. I wanted to know why. I wanted to know more about you. I wanted to see your smile and hear your voice. Then, you became my first interest and eventually my reason to smile and cry." 

Sunggyu pulled away with a smile telling him, "So, don't worry. I'm not leaving you."

Woohyun let out a breath of relief, not understanding most of Sunggyu's words except for the last phrase. Soon, a yawn escaped his mouth and through his half-opened eyes, he continued peering at Sunggyu asking, "Ajhussi, can I hold your hand while I sleep?"

"Ajhussi aniyeo. Sunggyu imnida." Sunggyu pointed out strictly as he slowly slipped his hand into Woohyun's, and his fingers instantly enclosed around Sunggyu's.

For a moment, Sunggyu just stared surprisingly at their locked hands. Strangely, Woohyun gave him a sense of security. Squeezing his hand lightly, Sunggyu gazed back up, watching Woohyun's eyes shut completely as he drifted off to sleep. 

"Good night, Hyunnie. Sorry for letting you alone all this time. I would never leave you again." Sunggyu whispered, peering at his angelic face a moment longer before shutting his eyes and joining Woohyun in sleep.

Sungyeol was sitting on the edge of Myungsoo's bed, his eyes was peering at the peacefully sleep Myungchan.
"Can't sleep yet?" Sungyeol gasped as he felt someone back hugged him. He turned around just to see the smiling Myungsoo who was looking at him lovingly, "Don't worry about WooHyun. Didn't Selovia said that the drug's effect just remained for couple days?"

Sungyeol smiled, "Yeah, I know. I'm not feel sad about that, Myungie. I just feel simpathy with his past. Woohyun went through many struggles, I could feel what he felt. To be called a monster while no one could you depend on wasn't a nice thing." Myungsoo nodded knowingly.

"Yeah, that's the pay for being an extraordinary child. Me either. Became an assasin mutant, I was only know to kill. Woohyun has taught me a lot. Behind his painful past, he was a gentle and nice person. He is not only my brother, my partner but also my savior. Maybe his cheerfulness came from Sunggyu. Sunggyu was seemed like a part of him. That's why, he felt so lost and changed drastically when Sunggyu suddenly disappeared. But now hi
