Aron found you sitting alone on your bed. Grinning, he snuck up on you and poked your sides playfully before running away laughing.

You jumped as he’d expected, before glaring at him. “What the hell Aron!?” you snapped. “You know I hate that!”

“Oh, like you hate this?” He reached over and ruffled your hair before jumping back.

“Yah! That isn’t funny!” You screeched.

“Yes it is,” he grinned before you threw a pillow at him as hard as you could and hit in square in the face.“Yah, ______-ah, you’re being really moody today,” he pouted and teased, “Is it that time of the month or something?”

Your face grew to horror before looking away from him, ready to cry. He noticed this and changed his attitude, sitting next to you. “Hey, I’m sorry okay? I know you and Ren just broke up and was just trying to make you smile again. I guess I did the opposite. But it’s not so bad, it’s just a breakup. You’ll move on to find a much better guy that’ll treat you right.”

“I-I just don’t know what I’m going to do with my life right now,” you sniffed and started wiping away tears.

“Minki’s just a boy-”

“It’s not that!” You cut him off before taking a deep breath. “The truth is Aron, I’m pregnant. With Ren’s baby of course.”

He was silent for a moment before letting out forced laughter. “Oh ______, you really had me there for a moment! Where are the other guys, where are the cameras? I know you’re pulling a prank on me!”

Your watering eyes met his. “Aron, I’m not joking.”

His expression fell as he realized just how serious you were. “Well you can’t make this into a drama! You can’t breakup with Ren and deal with this on your own, you have to tell him!” he exclaimed.

“Aron, you don’t get it,” you said softly. “I did tell him. I didn’t break up with him, he broke up with me.”

The room went silent.

“A-are you sure?” Aron asked, still processing everything.

“Yes I’m sure!” You hissed. “I just have no idea what to do about it, I-I have no one to really turn to and-”

You stopped as Aron pulled you in a tight hug. “I’ll be here for you,” he whispered into your hair. “I’ll take care of you both, you don’t have to worry.”

“Aron, don’t,” you pulled away. I don’t care if it was your maknae that messed up, you don’t have to take his responsibilities just because you’re the hyung. You’re American anyway, that shouldn’t apply to you.”

Aron cupped your cheeks and looked straight into your eyes. “That’s not why I’m doing this ______-ah. I’m doing it because I truly care for you. Because I don’t want to see you or the baby hurt. And I especially don’t want to see you cry.” He wiped tears that kept leaking out of your eyes with his thumb. “Ok?”

“Okay,” you gave him a small smile. He pulled you into your arms again, and this time you hugged him back, feeling reassured knowing that you wouldn’t be alone. That Aron would be there for you.
