You happily walked along with your boyfriend of a few weeks while holding hands. It had been a beautiful day that you’d spent the second half of the afternoon-after he hosted Music Access-with him. The two of you had chatted, gone to the park, ate, and now you were talking more as he walked you home-since the sun had just set.

                “I’m excited for this new album,” you smiled at him.

                “Yes, well you’ll have to wait a month or two yet. We’re still recording the songs.”

                “I know, but I’m still happy,” you beamed.

                “You’re always meant to be happy when you’re around me,” he smiled back, making you giggle at the cheesy line.

                “Yes I am,” you replied and swung your arm freely with his.

                It didn’t take much longer before the two of you had reached your place. Your outdoor light illuminated his handsome features as you held his hands while saying goodbye. “Well, I suppose I’ll see you whenever you have time again,” you said.

                “Yeah…” he trailed off.

                “Just tell me when, I’m only a text away,” you smiled and looked into his dark, but caring eyes. Lowering your gaze, your sight focused on his moistened lips and just how kissable they were. Not having shared a first kiss with him yet, you had daydreamed nonstop about what it would be like to kiss him.

                Before you could stop yourself, you had leaned up and pressed your lips upon his own in a peck before realizing what you were doing. Pulling back, your face turned red as Aron stood in shock. “Goodnight,” you mumbled and quickly retreated to the safety of your house.

                Sighing, you sat against the wall with your head in your hands. What have I done? Did I move too fast? Was he unsatisfied? What if I’m a horrible kisser? You wondered.

                The doorbell was pressed so you stood up, made sure you looked presentable, and opened it to see Aron. Just as you opened your mouth to say something, he had advanced upon you, wrapping and arm around you and pulling you close before kissing you fully and passionately. Your lips naturally moved against his until he pulled back, leaving both of you breathless.

                “That was a much better goodnight kiss, wasn’t it?” He whispered.

                “Yes!” You exclaimed quietly.

                “Good, because I always wanted to give you the first kiss. I suppose I was moving too slow, and to make up for it, I will kiss you like that every time we part,” he promised.

                “It wasn’t your fault, but okay,” you agreed before being pulled into another deep kiss from him.

                Once he moved back, he said, “I really have to go now. Goodnight _______.”

                “Goodnight,” you whispered and waited until he was out of sight before closing your door and running to grab something to squish while squealing out of joy. It was one first kiss you had no intention of ever forgetting.
