Cheering You Up Part One
Unlucky Thirteen?Your POV
After five minutes of sitting in the conference room by yourself, you finally picked yourself up and walked into the dance room. You opened the door and saw EXO taking a break.
“Hey! How did it go?” Suho asked.
“Are you ok?” Xiumin looked at you with concern.
“Hmm?” you said in a daze. You looked up and saw that EXO was looking at you with concern in their eyes. “Aww, you guys don’t have to worry about me. I’m fine, don’t worry. Now, let’s start practicing, because we should start now.” You plastered a fake smile on your face and hoped that they believed you. They didn’t, but they just let you be.
Lay’s POV
As soon as the door opened, I knew it was Lang. I turned to see, and my instincts were right! But she looked depressed and worried. Immediately, I was already worried for her.
“Hey! How did it go?” Suho asked.
“Are you ok?” Xiumin looked at you with concern.
“Hmm?” Lang said in a daze. She looked up and saw that EXO was looking at her with concern in their eyes. “Aww, you guys don’t have to worry about me. I’m fine, don’t worry. Now, let’s start practicing, because we should start now.” She plastered a smile on her face. I knew that she was lying. That smile was too fake. But I let it slide, planning to ask her what really happened later.
The other members and I knew that something was off with her. She wasn’t her usual bubbly, happy self. I’d rather, and I think all of us knew that she was lying to us. But, we didn’t want to press her, in case she decides to murder us all, in our sleep.
I went over to Lu Han and asked him why Lang was so down.
“Do you think I’d know? If I did, then I’d try to cheer her up,” Lu Han said.
“Light bulb!” I said. “We should cheer her up after we’re done practicing!”
“We should! But how?” Lu Han asked.
“I don’t know…hmm…take her out to eat? Go to different places?” I suggested.
Lu Han nodded. “We should. Let me tell the others.”
