“No, it’s not like that!” Minyoung sighed and took the knife from her gege. Luhan rolled his eyes.
“You don’t know how to mince garlic.”
Luhan shrugged and grabbed a can of soda from the fridge.
“I need Lay gege for this.” She muttered, then Junhee went in the room.
Luhan looked up.
“So, what are we having?” Junhee asked.
“Chicken with minced garlic and~ge, how do you pronounce it again?” Minyoung blinked. But Luhan’s gaze was fixed on Junhee’s neck.
“When did you get your necklace?” He asked. Minyoung looked at her cousin.
“Oh, unnie, we’re the same!” She took out hers.
“I brought her to ayi’s room earlier. I thought it was right to show her the room.” Lay walked in.
Luhan frowned.
“And you gave her the necklace?” He asked.
“I asked agung, he said it was a good idea.” Lay nodded.
Minyoung sensed the sudden change of the room’s atmosphere.
“Unicorn ge, help?” She batted her eyelashes. Lay sighed and grabbed and apron.
“Jang will kill you later, look at the mess you made.” He muttered. Minyoung smiled, then she looked at her cousin. Junhee was watching Lay as he picked up the meat.
Then she saw Luhan walk out of the room and to poolside.
She sighed lightly.
“Lay you can cook?” Junhee asked.
“Yeah. Well, I had to learn because Tao and Mei cant. Luhan ge doesn’t have the patience and Kris ge doesn’t fit in, in the kitchen.”
Junhee chuckled.
Minyoung looked at Luhan’s back as he sat down on the pool’s edge, letting his legs soak in the water.
“Wu Yifan!”
Kris winced a little, and then he smiled.
“I miss you too.”
“No, it’s not that. Cant you guys go home already?” Minyoung whined.
“Mei~”
“It’s getting more awkward everyday.”
“How awkward?” He asked.
“My toes would curl.”
Kris chuckled.
“Please? Cant you just continue the talk from here? It’s just a discussion right?”
Kris looked at his schedule.
“The other side already signed the contract, it’s done now.” She added. Kris smiled.
He did miss her badly.
“Ge~”
“I’ll talk to my secretary. For now, just relax. I’m sure everything will be fine mei.”
“Good for you to say, you’re not here.”
Kris smiled.
“How’s work going for you?” He asked.
“Not bad. Kai’s wedding is next week.”
“Best man slash best friend.” Kris mused.
“I still think it’s cute, anyway, don’t try changing the topic. Come home!”
“Is it because you miss me or you just feel like a….fourth wheel.”
There was a pause.
“Both.”
Kris smiled.
“I’ll try to move my flight, Tao’s here, you guys want to talk?”
