3 Years Later

Nana’s POV

“I’m going to propose to Lizzy,” I said as I wrapped my hands around a cup of hot chocolate.

“What?!” Hyuna yelled almost dropping her mug. Her eyes were wide.

“I’m going to ask Lizzy to marry me,” I clarified.

Hyuna put her mug down and walked over to me. She engulfed me in a tight hug. I hugged her back. A hug between two old friends, nothing beat it.

“I’m so proud of you,” she said as she let go.

“Thank you.” I smiled.

“So, have you picked out a ring?” she asked.

“Yes I have. I was going to show you except I forgot it at home.”

“It’s fine, I’m sure it’s beautiful. How are you going to ask her?”

“Yo Lizzy wanna be ma wifey?”

Hyuna burst out laughing. I laughed with her.

“Seriously, how are you gonna do it?” she asked again.

I put a finger to my chin and pretended I was thinking.

“I don’t know maybe dinner? The usual way?” I replied.

“That’s not spontaneous at all! It better be romantic at least.”

“You know I’m a romantic at heart,” I said as I winked at her.

She rolled her eyes and smiled at me.

“When are you proposing?” Hyuna asked.

“Tomorrow.”
