Lizzy’s POV

I pulled the blankets over my head and buried myself in the sheets. I cried for what felt like hours. I cried so much that I didn’t have any tears left. I was in bed for the rest of the day. I wanted to leave this hotel, I wanted to leave Busan, I wanted to go back to Seoul and forget about everything that happened today. I heard the door to our hotel room open and the smell of food wafted through the room.

“I brought food. Let’s eat,” Nana announced. I felt the bed go lower. I wiped my eyes.

“I’m not hungry,” I managed to say.

I felt her move closer to me. She put her hands on my back and began to rub it gently.

“You have to eat something,” she said.

I didn’t reply. I felt another set of tears coming on. After a while Nana moved away from me and ate the food that she brought. After she finished eating she sat on the floor on my side of the bed. I didn’t want to face her so I turned away.

“Lizzy don’t shut me out either,” she said quietly.

“I don’t want to talk right now. Please just leave me alone,” I insisted.

“Okay, but when you want to talk I’ll be here,” she replied.

Soon enough I drifted off to sleep.
