Haera entered the studio and the first thing she saw was the happy chattering of Hyunjoong Somin with Dong Sun and Jessica. Anger boiled inside Haera when she saw Hyunjoong holding Somin by her shoulder. She just wanted to charge at them and tear them apart when suddenly someone tapped on her shoulder. Haera turned around in irritation

“Excuse me I am looking for Lee Dong Sun”  the man who tapped on her shoulder said. The man was probably in his late 20s or early 30s. He wore a black suit and was rather handsome

Haera however wasn’t blown away by his looks. Ofcourse how could she be! She was with Hyunjoong and beating him in looks is really tough if not impossible. But Haera did lose her frown. She quickly pointed to Dong Sun and the man giving her a soft smile walked over to the gathering of the two couples

“Excuse me”

The sudden call interrupted  them and Dong Sun,Jessica,Hyunjoong and Somin, turned to the suited man.

“Yes?” Dong Sun stepped forward to address the man

“Anneoyong haseyo I am Jun Jin. I came from the broadcasting station” the suited man informed

“Oh…” Dong Sun involuntarily raised his eyebrows as he was not expecting any visits from the station’s representative. Jessica,Hyunjoong and Somin were surprised too and gathered behind Dong Sun to listen to the matter “Anneoyong haseyo.” Dong Sun bowed “What brings you here Junjin-sshi?”

Junjin opened his briefcase and took out a document and handed it to Dong Sun. Dong Sun creased his eyebrows slightly and started to look into the document when Junjin continued “The station has decided to stop airing the drama”

“WHAT?!” the four of them shrieked out. The crew members turned to them.

“What are you saying?” Dong Sun yelled, waving the document in the air. He then again scanned the document to verify Jun Jin’s statement. “This is preposterous!” he exclaimed “We had a contract!”

“Yes you did sir but that was just for the first 16 episodes…which end in the following week. The station will broadcast till then” Jun Jin explained calmly. He understood Dong Sun’s anxiety, frankly he was very shocked by the sudden decision as well since the show was high on rating. But he was in no position to ask questions to the authority being just a representative. But now seeing Dong Sun and the cast and crew’s disappointment he felt compassionate. He understood they were not anticipating this in any way as well.

“What am I going to do? This is so…sudden. The 16^th episode is not even a proper finale one!” Dong sun sighed in exasperation pressing his temples.

“The station can’t just stop airing like this!” Jessica protested “We should be given a notice”

“And that’s why I’m here ma’m…to give you the one week notice” Junjin explained

Dong Sun looked pale as he went through the document at hand—Jessica was worried too. “Why did the station suddenly decide on this? What’s the reason?” he asked

“The station feels the ongoing track is going against the theme of the station--”

“THEME? THE DRAMA IS GOING AGAINST THE THEME?!” Dong Sun shrieked out. Jessica rubbed his back to calm him but it was in vain. “The drama is an adaptation of the manga. We’re strictly following the manga’s storyline. If it was violating the station’s theme then why didn’t they refuse when I first gave them the script!”

“I am sorry…I dunno sir…it’s the station’s decision” Jun Jin responded calmly

“Ofcourse you dunno!” Dong Sun sighed in exasperation and threw the document to the floor. Hyunjoong and Jessica turned to calm him. Somin,noticing the fallen document,picked it up and handed it to Jun Jin. Jun Jin bowed slightly and took the script.

Haera by this time has come out of her changing room hearing all the commotion and was just in time to hear Junjin break the devastating news to Dong Sun. She couldn’t believe what she heard. The show wont be anymore. She thought it was somekind of joke but when she saw Dong Sun breaking down she had to accept it was no trick but the staunch reality

“The show wont be airing?” Haera screamed which made everyone except Dong Sun turn to her. Dong Sun too shaken,Jessica glanced at her momentarily but quickly went back to calmin Dong Sun. Haera charged towards Jun Jin. “What do you mean it’s not gonna air anymore! Huh?” Haera yelled at him. Jun Jin was very much taken aback by her approach but still his eyes were fixed on her formidable posture.

“Hae-Haera” Somin approached to calm her. She went over and held her arms which looked as if they were going to punch Jun Jin

“Don’t stop me Somin! How can they just decide on this randomly” Haera fervently complained

Suddenly their enemity just evaporated. As Somin struggled to calm Haera it seemed as if she was trying to calm her old and dear friend. Haera also became much controllable when somin approached her. The drama was more than everything-their enemity,their differences,everything.

Jun Jin stood frozen, his eyes fixed on Haera’s struggling figure. Somin turned to him while resisting Haera “Mainhe Jun Jin-sshi…it’s a difficult time for us—“

“Are you Yoon Haera?” Jun Jin suddenly asked

Haera stopped her struggles and looked at him with creased eyebrows. Haera was too mad to respond so Somin confirmed.

“Yes she is…do you know her?”

Jun Jin’s eyes grew big and his mouth formed a big ‘O’. Then to everyone’s surprise he rushed and hugged Haera. “I cant believe it! I finally found you!”
