“I am done setting the tables” Hyunjoong said gloomily

“Mmm” Somin nodded

“The blood’s stopped dripping too” Hyunjoong whispered like a sulking child

He sounded so cute that Somin couldn’t resist giggling

“Okay c’mon in…” she finally said and Hyunjoong hopped into the kitchen merrily.

“Listen…”Somin sighed “We have to skip the pizza, we can’t make it...is there anything else the boys like?”

“Can’t do the pizza? But you made the dough already!” Hyunjoong said pointing to the bowl nearby containing the dough

“Yeah…but its not good its too soft for a pizza. You can use it later though if you want to have pasta that’s why I didn’t throw it away”

“Then let’s do pasta. Mal loves pasta!” Hyunjoong said matter-of-factly

“Jungmin likes pasta? Why didn’t you tell me?” Somin looked at him in disbelief

“You never asked” Hyunjoong shrugged his shoulders

Somin glared at him and then suddenly started hitting him “Yah! Why didn’t you tell me! Here I was worrying how I am going to tell you that we can’t make the pizza fearing you’ll be disappointed! You are! Aaargh!”

“Ouch! Yah! It hurts” Hyunjoong cried as he dodged Somin’s hits

Finally Somin stopped “Ok now you do whatever you want I’ll prepare the pasta” Somin ordered angrily and they went back to their work. Hyunjoong decided to make dumplings while Somin worked on pasta. Surprisingly their co-ordination worked wonderfully and all the food was done before the boys arrived.

“Wow! Can’t believe everything’s done” Somin sighed and collapsed into the couch

“Yeah we make a great team!” Hyunjoong was still in the kitchen.

“What are you doing?” Somin rose up and walked towards the kitchen

“There were some chicken left…I was thinking of making a barbeque….I can work on it even if the boys come in”

“Woah! “ Somin looked in amazement as Hyunjoong prepared the barbeque “you’re really amazing!”

“Shincha?”Hyunjoong turned to her smilingly “Well you haven’t seen even half of it” he winked

“Ooo! I’m looking forward to it!” Somin exclaimed as she followed Hyunjoong to the barbeque

“Well you should” Hyunjoong said as he placed the meat on the grill. He suddenly put an arm round her waist and pulled her close. Somin was taken aback

“I am sorry…for the comment….I didn’t mean to hurt you” he whispered in her ear

Somin’s cheeks burned—she didn’t know what to say or do. They just kept looking into each other’s eyes.  The ringing of the Hyunjoong’s phone broke their daze.

“Could you…watch over..”Hyunjoong muttered as he left her to proceed to the phone

“Mmmm…sure” Somin nodded shyly

“Yabuseyo” Hyunjoong said as he picked up the phone

“Hyung!” Hyungjun cried from the other end

“De Hyung Jun…have you guys started yet?”

“Young saeng Kyu Jungmin said they have started so I guess they will be arriving soon”

“And you?”

“I had a shooting at the broadcast. It’s done now and I’m going to start now…but you wont guess who I met at the station today!” Hyungjun cried excitedly

“Really? Who?”

“That’s a surprise! I’ll be bringing the person with me”

“Okay…great! Come soon” Hyunjoong said and hung up.

“What did Hyung Jun say?” somin asked when she saw Hyunjoong looking at the phone thoughtfully

“He said he met someone….he’s bringing the person over” Hyunjoong said

“Who person?”

“Dunno…he wanted it to be a surprise” Hyunjoong mumbled as he tried thinking who the person can be

“Well I don’t think there will be a food shortage…so don’t worry” Somin caressed his back smilingly. Hyunjoong smiled back.

DING DONG!

“Oh that must be the boys!” Somin cried

Hyunjoong went and opened the door. Jungmin Youngsaeng and Kyu entered in succession greeting Hyunjoong

As Jungmin looked around he found Somin “oh Somin! You’re already here!”

“De she came in early and helped out” Hyunjoong said fondly eyeing Somin. Somin smiled. The boys greeted her and everyone sat in the living room and got involved in chatting

“Here you go” Youngsaeng placed a pack of beer cans on the table

“Yah! I told you not to get alcohol” Hyunjoong scowled

“Don’t worry I have got breezer for Somin” Youngsaeng cried  and held up a single breezer bottle

“Still—“

“Oh c’mon she can handle it. Risght Somin-sshi?” Youngsaeng asked

“Sure” Somin nodded

DING DONG

“Ah! That must be baby!” Youngsaeng cried as he opened a beer can

“Ah! About time! I feel like I’m going to die of this mystery person suspense” Hyunjoong got up to open the door, picking up a beer can on his way

He opened the door while drinking but he couldn’t swallow the beer in his mouth as he saw the person standing next to Hyungjun

“Ta-da!” Hyungjun cried and waved his hand at the beautiful woman standing beside him.

The beer burned in his tongue but Hyunjoong couldn’t speak. Finally he managed to gulp it down and whisper,”Hwa-Hwangbo!”
