Tiffany's POV~

"Brother..."

My eyes shot open when I heard taeyeon speak and felt her body stiffen. She stared at me, wide eyed but I knew she was looking through me instead of at me. She didn't move;she stayed on top of me;frozen.

"Taeyeon.."

Upon hearing me whisper her name, she snapped back into reality. She got off of me slowly and sat next to me. Her head was hung down low and that's when I saw her. I saw the little Taeyeon that was always afraid of disappointing her big brother.

"Taeyeon"

I looked up at Siwon who had called Taeyeon's name. He stood in front of us, a few feet away. He looked at me for a second but quickly glanced away. Anger was evident in his eyes as I could only look at the floor. I really didn't know much about Taeyeon's family since she never liked to talk about herself. Her life was a mystery. I looked up when I heard a small grunt of disapproval escape Siwon's lips. He massaged the bridge of his nose with his left hand.

"What exactly is going on. I demand answers."

Siwon said as he looked at Taeyeon. Taeyeon kept her head down low. Her hands began to fidget with the cushion of the sofa underneath and I could tell just by looking at her that she was sweating nervously. At that moment, I did not know what possessed me to speak for her but I did. And I was shocked by my own answer.

"What happened was that we fell in love."

Siwon looked at me. His face was unreadable and his eyes pierced right at me. I looked down, embarrassed as he let out a long sigh.

"That's ridiculous."

Upon hearing his reply I looked to my side when I noticed Taeyeon's head jerk up, looking at Siwon. I also looked up but was a bit surprised when I saw Siwon staring at me bitterly as he approached me. I couldn't help but feel intimidated.

"You! Your the cause of all this. You have infected my little sister's mind with your.. your.. twisted mind! You should be ashamed! My sister is nothing like you! In love?! With you?! She has a fiance for heaven's sake! What would your parents say! Your mother-"

"Enough!!!"

I was on the brisk of tears when I felt taeyeon wrap her arms around me. I hid my face in her chest as I was unable to hold back the threatening tears. His words stabbed right at me. She rubbed my back affectionately as she placed her chin on my crown.

"She is not twisted nor the cause of this.. If anyone were to be blamed, I blame myself."

She kissed my forehead as I tried to control my tears. 

"I was the one who confessed to her, brother."

She hesitated in saying her last word as if a lump got stuck in . I peaked from the corner of my eye to see his reaction. It was no surprise to see him fuming with anger. I had just ruined the future of Kim corps.

"You will return to the mansion this instant, Kim Taeyeon!"

"No"

Even she was surprised with her own response. I looked up at her, locking eyes. I knew she could see the concern in my eyes but she just gave me a small smile.

"What did you say?" Siwon asked in disbelief and anger. 

"I'm not going back to the mansion so forget about it. No is no."

Without a second to waste she quickly leaned down and pecked my lips causing Siwon's eyes to widen before he looked away. I was a simple peck.

"It's best if you leave now."

Without hesitation, Siwon did as Taeyeon suggested. He made his way to the door but made sure to say his final sentence.

"I advise you to fix this mess up before father finds out and fixes it for you."

As soon as the door closed, Taeyeon let out a tired sigh. "Tae tae" I whispered in concern as I held her hands in mine. "I'm fine, promise" she said as she placed her forehead on mine. "Even If I had to go against the world just to be with you, I would." I looked into her eyes and saw sincerity. I couldn't help but give her an eye smile as I stole a kiss from her.

Taeyeon's POV ~

That night, my mind was clogged with thoughts. I looked to my side to find tiffany lightly snoring cutely as she was deep in slumber. She held me close, not letting go even after falling asleep. I smiled as I took in ever detail of her beautiful features. "The road will be really bumpy from now on, mushroom." I whispered as I moved a strand of hair off her face. "We must be strong no matter what."
