The days passed, and my father's financial crisis remained the top news. Reporters still swarmed our house, the phones still rang and the headlines on the news remained the same. I isolated myself in my room, and never spoke a word to anyone. The maids would look anxiously at my closed bedroom door and whisper frantically, thinking that I've gone insane.

My dad's lawyer came into my room the other day and took my phone. He told me that he would be consficating every single communication device we had right now, to ensure that no rumors could spread or no tracking devices would get planted. I just nodded numbly. I was cut from the outside world now. All our TVs, our laptops, our phones, our tablets... every single electronic device we had that could connect us to the outside world was taken away.

I closed my eyes and leaned against the headboard.

I wondered what Sehun was doing.

Every single fibre of my being ached to see him. Whenever I closed my eyes, I envisoned his flawless face, smiling gently back at me. Whenever I tried to sleep, I would dream about him. Whenever I tried to shut myself off the world, he was always the one, the glowing entity, that pulled me back in. I haven't spoken a word in so many days, my throat was all dried and choked up. I tried to speak, but I always ended up choking and coughing. 

The next morning, I sat down on the breakfast table, listlessly picking on my salad. I was alone, in the huge dining room. I could hear the reporters yelling outside the mansion, swarming the entire place like bees. I managed to block out their loud annoying shouts into a buzz that steadily hummed in my ears. I finished eating and walked back up to my room.

I glanced into the mirror. I looked like a wreck.

My slender body looked even thinner and paler than usual, my eyes were hollow and I had dark circles, marking my sleep deprivation. I had an empty blood drained look that scared even me. My high cheekbones looked even higher than usual, as if I had lost tons of weight. I frowned at my reflection and turned away. I didn't want to look at it anymore.

The hours passed and nightfall arrived. I remained in the same position, sprawled on my bed and staring outside the window. No one disturbed me. They knew better than to do that. For the millionth time in days, I starting missing Sehun like crazy. The intense ball of fire in my chest felt like it was going to burn me alive, and hang me out to dry. I couldn't stand it any longer.

I decided to go walk in the garden. I needed some air. I quietly snuck down the hallway and made my way out to the rose garden. The gardeners had specially cultivated a garden full of beautiful blood red roses. Under the moonlight, it seemed to glow and the ruby red color seemed to be permanently etched into my memory.

I stood there for a while, staring at all the roses.

"So, you're here, huh?"

I jumped and turned around. My heart felt like it was going to stop in my chest.

Sehun stood there, looking at me. The beautiful blood red roses surrounded him and he looked like an angel that had descended from heaven. However, the intense fire that was currently burning in his eyes was not angelic at all. I shivered slightly and took a step back. He saw what I did and he exploded. He came over and grabbed me roughly by the wrist. 

I winced at the sharp pain.

He saw my wince and he softened. However, in a split second, he returned back to his icy cold self. He continued holding my wrist and said coldly "Why haven't you been answering my calls?" He saw how sickly I looked and a hint of heartache appeared in his beautiful brown eyes. I opened my mouth and tried to speak but instead, I starting choking. 

Sehun was shocked. What happened to her? He saw how pale and sickly she had gotten in these past days and his fury increased. He saw the hollowness in her eyes and he felt another sharp stab in his heart. He would rather go to hell than to see her like this. She started coughing and managed to choke out "M-my phone got consficated...."

He narrowed his eyes. It was obvious by the hoarseness of her voice and the way she croaked that she hadn't spoken a word in days and was sore from lack of use. He suddenly couldn't resist anymore and hugged her tightly, closing the distance between them with his single action. 

He suddenly hugged me tightly and I jumped back slightly, startled. He seemed to sense my hesitation and a low growl rumbled in his throat. He hugged me even tighter and I rested my head against his shoulder. I could feel the steady thump of his heartbeat against mine, and I felt all my defenses crumble. A single tear slipped down my cheek and dripped onto his arm. He sensed it and furrowed his brow. He pulled away from me and stared into my eyes, his stunning brown eyes looked like it could penetrate deep into me.

He leaned in and gently wiped away the tear. I widened my eyes and stared at him. 

He smirked and said "Damn, luckily the security guards didn't manage to catch me climbing the walls to get in here." I didn't answer, I could only hear my rapid heartbeat thumping in my ears. 

I managed to say slowly "So... you climbed up the walls and sneaked in here?"

His smirk deepended and he said "Yeah. Your walls are really easy to climb though, and certain parts of the walls already had caved in slightly, like they had been climbed many times before." He narrowed his eyes at me as a thought occured to him. "Do you often climb those walls?"

I giggled and said "I used to sneak out of the house by climbing down those walls to hang out with Luhan."

His eyes darkened and he whined "Not fair! You can climb down walls to hang out with Luhan, but I have to climb up walls to see you?" I burst into laughter, the first cheerful sound I made in many days. I said "You're so cute when you're jealous." I looked up at his blushing flawless face and suddenly felt this really warm fuzzy feeling. 

He glared at me. "I'm not jealous. I just think that since I'm your boyfriend, you should be climbing up walls to see me too." 

Boyfriend.... That term rang through my head and I blushed deeply. He saw my reddened face and he grinned. "You're blushing!" He crowed. I blushed even deeper and hit his hard chest. "I'm not!"

"Yes, you are!"

"No, I'm not!"

Just then, he leaned in and kissed me deeply. I widened my eyes in shock, but after a while, I gradually closed my eyes and kissed him back. I could feel him smiling into the kiss as he wrapped his strong arms around my waist. 

After a while, we let go of each other and I blushed again. He smirked "See, you're totally blushing." I looked away embarrassedly and Sehun smiled. He flicked my forehead gently and I gasped in indignation. 

"Don't ever isolate yourself again, arasso? And next time, you have to be the one climbing walls to see me."

I rubbed my forehead and mumbled "Arasso."

He smiled and leaned in to kiss me again.
