"That girl is so pretty!"

"I know! I wonder who she is?"

I wandered into Seoul International School and stared around the campus curiously. I was dressed impeccably in a beautiful black asymmetrical dress that showed off my pale clear skin and added an aura of mystery and beauty around me. My long wavy brown hair was neatly tucked to the side, showing off my long slender neck and collarbone. I drummed my long slender pale fingers on my phone and tried to find the administration block.

I was a new student. I moved from the USA and I was still completely unfamiliar with Korea. I moved to the United States when I was 8. Now, I'm 18 years old, and having spent 10 years on foreign soil, it could be said that I was a fish out of water in Korea. My parents insisted on enrolling me in this prestigious high school, even though I insisted on just going to public high school. 

Seoul International School was beautiful. The campus was immensely big and it looked very grand. Students here were not required to wear a uniform, and dress code was very lax around here, therefore, I could see tons of extreme fashion cases wandering around. Everyone seemed to be staring at me, and I suddenly felt very self-conscious. I ducked my head down and continued staring at the school map, trying to find the admin block.

After twenty minutes, I managed to find the admin block. I entered and a lady smiled at me. "Hello there! You must be Lee Ji-eun?"

I was shocked. "How did you know my name?"

"Your dad's assistant already informed me about your arrival. Here is your timetable. You have to go to your homeroom first, the homerooms are on the other side, in the North courtyard." She pointed to a building in the distance and I flushed slightly. I had told my parents not to interfere with my first day of school but apparently, they had not listened to me. I nodded and thanked her.

The admin lady stared at me wistfully as I walked off. "Aigoo, such a pretty girl."

Once I stood outside my homeroom, the teacher inside glanced at me and her entire face lit up. She rushed out and grabbed my hand. She pulled me in and exclaimed to the entire class. "Everyone! Say hello to Lee Ji-eun!" The entire class stared at me. The girls stared at me with a mixture of envy, admiration and jealousy. The boys, however, stared at me with shock and admiration. I reddened slightly. I didn't see why the teacher had to make such a big fuss.

"Oh, no! I have already introduced you. And your dad's assistant told me not to say your name first...." The teacher shut up at my glare. I glanced at my class and said "My name is Lee Ji-eun, but you can call me IU. It's a pleasure to meet you all. I hope you'll take care of me." The class gave me a huge applause and I gaped slightly in shock. I didn't know I was already that popular.

The teacher beamed and said "Now, who should Ji-eun sit next to?" Instantly, a bunch of hands shot up, and most of them belonged to boys. I glanced at the teacher as she contemplated. "Hmm...."

Just then, a boy walked in the classroom. Instantly, the entire classroom became quiet and almost all the girls leaned forward in their seats, trying to get a glimpse of him. I glanced at him and widened my eyes in shock. He was extremely handsome. He had beautiful black hair and y smouldering brown eyes. He was tall, slim and slender. However, he was very fit too. He was dressed in a black v-neck and jeans. The shirt showed off his gorgeous slender neck and y collarbone. He was also obviously very rich, as he was carrying an expensive looking leather bag and a shiny Rolex glittered on his arm.

"Omo! Sehun came!"

"Oh my God, he's so handsome!"

"Someone kill me now!"

"Is this a dream?"

"Sehun ah, I love you!"

So, his name is Sehun. I thought as I continued staring at him. He had a very cold aura around him. His face remained cold and emotionless as he entered. He looked at the teacher and said quietly "I'm sorry I'm late."

"Oh, it's okay, Sehun. Just sit." The teacher said good-naturedly. Even she seemed affected by his extreme good looks. He went in and glanced at me slightly. His gaze landed on me for just a second, then he looked away and went to his seat. All the girls clamoured to get his attention and the boys tried to talk to him, but he ignored them all. He seemed as if he was in his own world, detached from the rest.

"Okay, back to business. Lee Ji-eun, who do you want to sit with?" The teacher asked me.

I shrugged and said coolly "I don't mind."

The teacher surveyed the classroom and suddenly, her eyes lit up. "I know! You'll sit next to Sehun. Sehun will take care of you."

I widened my eyes in shock and glanced at him again. Just then, he lifted his head and gazed directly at me. His stare was so compelling and magnetic, I couldn't help but shift my gaze. I didn't know what to do.
