My Little Avatar
Description
When Key was little, his mother would tell him stories about the girl who owned the main four powers- water, fire, earth, and air, who would soon come to legend and rise up to the full title of the avatar once she was granted her freedom from her mortal life after her education was finished. Key always believed in myths and legends, and told himself he would find that girl someday- if that was even possible. When Key grew older, he soon realized that the stories he all heard was just a bunch of crap and he shouldn't believe in them anymore. Coming back from the states back to his hometown, he returned to his old high school, Daegu High, where things haven't left off the way Key had remembered. There was talk about a strange girl at Daegu, Kwon Min Ki. People say that every time they're around her, weird things happen...
What will happen when Key gets mixed up into Min Ki's life? Will they become friends? Or possibly something more...?

Nickname: Mikki by people she trusts, Monkey by Big Bang
Age: 17

Min Ki is a very distant, insecure girl. After her parents left her and her siblings to live on their own, Min Ki has had a really hard time trusting people. She is the avatar, or will be, anyways. Her emotions describe which power she uses. Fire if she's angry, water if she's sad, earth if she's happy (which rarely happens), and air for any other emotion like confusion, jealousy, etc. Little does everyone know that if you get on her good side and know her enough that she can trust you, she is the exact opposite.
Name: Kim Kibum
Nickname: Key
Age: 18
Key is a very caring boy. He'll do anything for his friends and acts like their mother sometimes. He likes to make friends with everyone and is usually really cheerful and happy. Though he has a good, stable relationship with all of his friends, he likes to tease them sometimes, but in a joking way. He could make anyone laugh if he tried, and can be somewhat stubborn at times.
Group/Team Name: TaeTiSeo
Consists of: Tiffany (Fany), Taeyeon, Joohyun (Seohyun)
Powers: Air
TaeTiSeo is the group name of the most admired girls of the training center for all the benders. They are greatly loved, mostly by the boys, and have the best moves, making them the perfect mentors for everyone.
Group/Team Name: Girls' Generation (Couldn't find pic w/o TaeTiSeo in it, just ignore them)
Consists of: Yuri (Min Ki's sister), Hyoyeon, Soonkyu (Sunny), Jessica (Sica), Yoona, Sooyoung
Powers: Water- Yuri, Sica; Earth- Sunny; Fire- Hyoyeon, Sooyoung; Air- Yoona
Girls' Generation is a competing bender team whenever there are contests at the training center. They are a strong group- they have won many awards and trophies, but they haven't all yet fully controlled their powers.
Group/Team Name: Big Bang
Consists of: Jiyong (G-Dragon, Min Ki's brother), Seungri, Seunghyun, Daesung, Taeyang (Youngbae)
Powers: Water- Seungri; Earth- Jiyong; Fire- Seunghyun, Taeyang; Air- Daesung
Big Bang is the most popular male competing bender team at the training center and have all controlled their powers and are able to use whenever. They are serious, but only when in the training circle.
Group/Team Name: 2NE1
Consists of: Chaerin (CL), Bom, Sandara (Dara), Gong Minji (Minzy)
Powers: Water- Minzy, Bom; Earth- Dara; Fire- CL; Air- CL
2NE1 are "wannabe avatars," or as Min Ki sees them to be. They are verey forceful, but not clever when it comes to fighting. They always come in 2nd place to Big Bang, despite the fact that CL can both fire and air bend. They sometimes even practice their powers on mortals for better training, even if it means revealing their secrets.
Other: SHINee (are not real band in story, just friends)
Consists of: Jinki (Onew), Jonghyun, Kibum (Key), Minho, Taemin
Are very good friends with each other ever since they were 7-year-olds and are very humorous and teasing to each other, yet in times in need, they're the most supportive and comforting group of people you've ever met.
Foreword
"Ummaaaaa~!" Kibum whined. "Story time for Kibummie!"
"Ne, Kibum, umma just has a little more work to do, just wait a bit longer, arasso?" his mother kissed him on the forehead and continued with her work, though she couldn't really focus with her adorable son all ready in his pajamas, pouting and tapping his foot impatiently like the little clever 5-year-old he was. She sighed, putting everything she was doing down and taking her messy bun out of its tangled knot.
"Let's go, Kibummie," she cooed, scooping his tiny little body in her arms and sprinting up the staircase which only resulted in his louder squeals and shrieks of joy and laughter.
"Umma, tell me the one about the magic girl!" Kibum demanded as his mother gently placed the little boy down at the foot of his racecar bed, laying him down and tucking him in.
She giggled at his silliness and kissed the back of his head. "You mean the avatar?" she looked at him with motherly eyes. Kibum nodded vigorously. "Arasso, are you ready?"
Kibum took a moment to settle in- make sure he was tucked in all the way, adjust his body temperature, get into a position he was comfortable in. "Ready!"
His mother cleared his throat before beginning the story that has been told so many times just to her boy's enjoyment. "There once was a girl. Her name? Well, nobody really knew her name, but people didn't really care. Now this girl, is not like your any normal girl. She has all of the four main powers of the world- water, fire, earth, air. She can control those things with just her thoughts and emotions."
"Woaaaah," Kibum looked at his mother in awe, even though he saw it coming. She laughed and tickled his tummy before continuing.
"But she isn't the full avatar yet. She is still a mortal, even though she can do these magnificent things. Only when she is done with her schooling, she is free and only then will she live up to the full title of the avatar. When she grows into that title, she will spend her days fighting crime, but mostly to look for other avatars. There are only three in the world- one of them is her. She searches day and night for them, and travels far and wide. When they are all together, nothing in the world can beat them. They are indestructable," she completed her short yet detailed story with a yawn, only to see her small son wrapped up in the blanket, already fast asleep. She slowly crept up to him and gave him a small good-night kiss before turning off the lights.
"I wanna find the avatar one day, umma," Kibum said drowsily. He always believed in myths and never cared what others thought about them. Only if he knew they were real, that's all he needed to fill his wonderous, wide imagination.
"I bet you do," she whispered, gently closing the door to leave him to his slumber.
