Surprise! Part 2
Clash of the Players“Well why are we still standing out here for? Let’s get this party started!” Woohyun cheered, herding the rest of the guys in.
Three months ago, neither Eternity nor Infinite would’ve ever imagined actually attending a party with one another, both being the only guests. Surprisingly, everyone was having a good time, enjoying themselves and each other's company.
“Yah Lee Sungyeol, do you want to die?”
Ok… maybe almost everyone.
“Of course I don’t want to die.” Sungyeol answered, smirking. “It’d be such a waste to do so with this face.”
“Let’s not fight now.” Dongwoo tried to prevent Eunhee from wrapping her hands around Sungyeol’s neck and squeezing.
“Yeah, it’s a special occasion. You wouldn’t want to ruin everything you’ve been doing the entire morning right?” Sungyeol asked, taunting her even more.
“Screw being here since eight in the morning, I’m going to –“
“Lee Sungyeol.” Dongwoo said, sending a look towards the smirking boy.
He held up his hands in surrender and turned to talk with Sungjong. Eunhee tore away from Dongwoo’s gentle grip on her arms.
“Sorry.” Dongwoo apologized.
“Why are you sorry?” She asked. “It’s not like you’re the idiot who can’t keep his comments to himself.”
“I heard that!” Sungyeol said from where he was standing with Sungjong.
“It’s not nice to call people idiots.” Dongwoo slightly frowned.
“That’s the point.” She rolled her eyes at Sungyeol, not even paying heed to Dongwoo’s previous statement. “…idiot.”
“Who’s hungry?” You and Howon asked at the same time.
You chuckled and Howon sheepishly scratched the back of his head.
“Come on, let’s go bring out the food.” You suggested to Howon.
Myungsoo was already in the kitchen when you and Howon reached it. He was drinking a cup of water and watching you two interact as you grabbed the plates of food.
“What?” He asked, seeing you intently look at him.
“I should be asking you that.” You said. “You were the one staring at me since I got in here.”
“I wasn’t staring at you.” Myungsoo said, his tone defensive.
Howon took this moment and fled the kitchen with some plates of food.
Heading towards the exit that’d lead you out of the kitchen and into the living room, you turned around to tell Myungsoo, “Come out soon, ok? We’re going to start eating and you know the guys…”
You let your voice trail off, a small smile present as you let your mind wander and left. Myungsoo downed the cup of water and followed after. Everyone was already crowding around the table of food, piling their plates. Eunhee reached for a plastic cup when her hand met a warm one. She jerked her hand back and Dongwoo apologized again and again.
“It’s fine.” She muttered, giving him the cup and taking one for herself.
Misun playfully nudged Eunhee, who in turn shoved the younger one, causing her to fall into Woohyun's unexpecting arms.
“Oops, sorry Woohyun oppa.” She said, giggling.
“It’s ok Misun-ah.” He smiled charmingly. “Are you ok?”
“Perfectly fine.” She shot a teasing look at Eunhee, who rolled her eyes, leaving the table to go talk to Miyoung.
Miyoung chuckled as Eunhee walked over.
“Don’t say a single word.” Eunhee warned.
Miyoung raised the hand that wasn’t holding her p
