Just Another Day
Clash of the PlayersMonday morning. It’s the start of a new week and there was nothing looking forward to. Before the whole war between the kingkas and the queenkas, you would always look forward to the weekend so you could hang out with your best friend. No, you mentally slapped yourself. It’s been five years since you’ve stopped hanging out with Myungsoo; you can’t think about him anymore. Speaking of Myungsoo, here he comes.
“Look at what we have here.” Myungsoo said.
You rolled your eyes. “What do you want? Seeing you so early ruined my morning. We aren’t supposed to see each other until second period.”
“Tch, not like I wanted to see you either. You’re in my way.”
“More like you in my way.” You muttered.
“Did you say something?” He asked.
“No,” You faked a sweet smile. “Nothing at all.”
“Whatever.” He walked past, bumping into your shoulder and the rest of Infinite followed.
While passing, you gave Howon a smile. Woohyun purposely walked right in front of you.
“You, me, club Inspirit. 7pm, tonight.” He whispered.
“Sure.”
True, Woohyun was associated with the enemy, but hanging out with him wouldn’t hurt. You were a player after all. As long as he didn’t ask anything personal, hanging out with him was fine. And, he was kind of hot. Although Infinite and Eternity were under-aged, you guys had connections and were allowed in the clubs. You continued walking to your class, meeting up with Miyoung on the way.
“Hey.” She greeted.
“Hi.”
“Something’s wrong.” She said, stopping and turning towards you.
“Met Myungsoo on the way here.” You replied.
She nodded in understanding and resumed walking. “Yesterday was fun at Inspirit.”
“Yeah?” You asked.
“Danced with tons of guys.” She grinned.
You exchanged high-fives with her. During the walk to class, you and Miyoung did the usual round of flirting. Infinite’s and Eternity’s reputation of being players was known throughout the school – heck, probably throughout Seoul – but the girls and guys still pursue after them because of their unbelievably good looks.
Upon sitting down at your desk, Misun turned around from her seat, which happened to be in front of you and began to talk.
“Beat my record.” She said.
“Are you serious? You beat your record of getting twenty guys’ numbers in one night?” Eunhee asked, taking her seat next to you.
She nodded. “I got to thirty-three yesterday.”
“9/10 of your contacts are probably of guys you barely know and danced with only once.” Miyoung commented from her seat next to Misun.
“True.” She agreed. “I’m not a player for nothing. Plus, I can always call them up again. Right ~~~-ah?”
All three of them turned to you, but you were already flirting up a storm with the guy behind you. As expected from the biggest player of Woollim High. They all exchanged knowing looks and smiles and continued chatting amongst themselves. The teacher came in and the students greeted her. Hiding your phones under your desks, the four of you were texting random guys from school and the club.
The bell rang, announcing the beginning of second period. You dreaded second period – and third, fifth, sixth, and eighth – because Myungsoo was in your class. To make things worse, you were seated right next to him. At least Howon was in your class, which made things better. Entering the class, you noticed that Myungsoo wasn’t there, but Howon was. You walked to your seat, in front of him. Sett
