Surprise! Part 1
Clash of the Players“A bit higher.” You said from where you were blowing up black and purple balloons.
Miyoung and Misun raised the banner higher.
“Right there.” You nodded in satisfaction.
They pinned the banner onto the wall.
“Remind me why are we doing this again?” Eunhee asked, setting the table.
“Because we agreed to celebrate their special days together to make it easier on all of us.” You answered, tying the purple balloon you just finished blowing into. “Plus, Howon oppa’s is during spring break and we all might not be here to celebrate it due to vacations.”
“No, I’m perfectly fine with doing this for him, but it’s the fact that this is half for Myungsoo that I don’t know about.” Eunhee said. “Had it been any of the other Infinite members, maybe I’d be more okay with it, but it’s Myungsoo we’re talking about here.”
“Well, he is my boyfriend.”
“Admitting to it now?” Miyoung asked, getting off the chair.

“You’re just getting better and better, aren’t you?” Misun giggled.
Miyoung left the living room.
“Dongwoo just texted me, said that they’re heading home now.” Eunhee said, pocketing her phone.
“Oh, Dongwoo oppa?” Eunhee didn’t like the tone the Misun was using.
“Shut up.” Was Eunhee’s reply to Misun’s subtle way of teasing her unnie.
“I’m not implying that he’s a bad guy because he’s really sweet and nice.” Misun said. “Out of all the Infinite members, he’s the one I can actually stand. He’s genuinely sorry for what he’s done to us.”
“The only reason we exchanged numbers is because of today. That’s all. Nothing to it. Got it?” Eunhee said.
Misun nodded, but Eunhee could tell she wasn’t convinced.
“He’s not my type.” She said, placing the napkins on the table.
“You have a type?” You joked.
“They did say opposites attract.” Misun said thoughtfully tapping her chin with her finger.
“Perfect.” You said. “Nam Eunhee and Jang Dongwoo are pretty much polar opposites.”
“You two are out of your minds.” Eunhee muttered, retreating into the kitchen.
At least no one would in there.
She did not like Jang Dongwoo. At least, not in that way. She did not like the bubbly and smiley personality that he always had. She did not like that no matter how annoyingly happy he was, she couldn’t dislike him. No matter how many times she’s convinced herself that he wasn’t worth befriending, a s
