Background Music: I want you back-Secret

Hyun Mi and Jihye were walking their way towards their next class, which is P.E.

On their way, Hyun Mi had told Jihye about everything that had happened between these past few weeks. As expected, Jihye couldn’t help but gawk at Hyun Mi’s story.

“You went in EXO-M’s apartment?! Wahh. No one had ever been there! You are lucky Hyun Mi-ah!” Jihye glowered. Hyun Mi replied with a nod. “What’s so lucky about that?” She scoffed.

“Uh. The fact that you got surrounded by 6 gorgeous males, that’s what. And you even got to spend time with Kris.” Jihye sighed at the thought. She admits that she’s been crushing on EXO-M’s tall and mighty leader.

“And what about Tao? You two seem to be getting along.” Hyun Mi shrugged and replied. “We’re friends I guess.” Jihye eyes squinted as her face became inches away from Hyun Mi. “I sense something else.” She snickered.

“Oh please Jihye, don’t be like that. Me no likey amiga.”  Hyun Mi brushed her shoulders. “But it’s weird. He was my classmate since freshmen year, and the guy barely talked to anyone, rather than you!” Jihye pointed a finger at Hyun Mi. “You two aren’t dating right?!” She asked Hyun Mi with bulging eyes.

“What? No!” Hyun Mi retorted then made a sour face. “Me dating? You got to be kidding me.”

Jihye blinked an eye at her. “What’s wrong with that?” She asked.

Hyun Mi stopped on her tracks. “Nothing. It just creeps me to death.” She innocently replied. Jihye shook her head disapprovingly. “Aigoo Hyun Mi-ah, have you ever fallen in love?”

She looked at her with a blank expression. “I can’t believe you asked me that. Isn’t it pretty obvious?” Hyun Mi babbled. “Well, it is actually. That’s why you talk that way. But trust me Hyun Mi, falling in love is the best feeling you could ever have in this world. Really! It’s perfect just like peanut butter and jelly!” She mused. Hyun Mi’s brow shot up. “I have no knowledge of what you speak Park Jihye.  You talk gibberish from what I just heard. But the peanut butter and jelly sounded good to me.” Hyun Mi foolishly replied. She was obviously dodging the talks about love. Jihye shook her head with dismay. *This girl is gonna be a nun* She thought to herself then the two made their way to the Gym.

The two went straight ahead to the locker room to change into their P.E. uniforms.  Hyun Mi slid the key to her locker and was shocked at the sight. “What the-“

She took out her what used to be P.E. uniform but now is just some tattered cloth. “Who the hell did this?” Hyun Mi asked the other girls who were inside the locker room but no one bothered to give her a reply. Instead, they pretended that they didn’t hear a word.

*Great. Now I’m invisible.* She sarcastically thought then rolled her eyes.

Jihye immediately approached her and took the tattered uniform. “Whoever did this thing is so immature.” She looked at the frustrated Hyun Mi then gave her a pat in the back. “Don’t worry Hyun Mi-ah, I’ve got some spare uniform in my locker. You can use it if you want to.”

Hyun Mi slightly smiled. “Thanks.”

At the other side of the room Jia was watching them. Her lips quivered into a smirk after witnessing Hyun Mi’s frustrated reaction. But nonetheless, it was never her who did that to Hyun Mi’s uniform.

*Looks like I’m not the only one hating on you, Kim Hyun Mi. You better watch out. You’ve messed up with the wrong people.*

Jia left the room and headed towards the court. Moments after, everyone including Jihye and Hyun Mi also made their way. Hyun Mi kept on fidgeting on her uniform while some random guys blowed whistles at her. *Damn it, it’s too tight!* Jihye excused herself and went to the washroom leaving Hyun Mi all by herself.

Just a few seconds later, Min Joon skidded his way towards Hyun Mi and greeted her with a whack in the head. “Hey Pal!” He greeted. Hyun Mi hushed in an irritated manner. “Damn it Min Joon, is whacking my head really necessary?” She asked him and continued to wriggle around uncomfortably. Min Joon took notice of that and asked. “Hyun Mi ah, you’re uniform shrunk.”  He commented. She batted an eye at him. “Idiot, this isn’t my uniform. Do you actually think I’ll wear such tight clothing?” Hyun Mi scoffed.

“Then why are you wearing that? It’s too y.” He grinned then bit his lip. “Min Joon you ert!” Hyun Mi began to whack his head while Min Joon laughed like a maniac. “Whoa whoa I was kidding!” He chuckled then backed away from Hyun Mi. “Jerk!” She muttered.

 “Haha. But really, it is.” He joked again; Hyun Mi shot her a glare. “Leave now Min Joon, before I rip you into half.” Hyun Mi warned. “Okay okay. I’m leaving! I got to go check on my baby. Have you seen her?”  He asked. Hyun Mi’s face turned into a bitter one. “I don’t freakin’ know. In hell maybe.” She muttered. Min  Joon frowned. “Aw. You two are still enemies?”

*Hell yes. For an unknown reason, you’re girlfriend seems to like frustrating the hell out of me. I bet she’s also the one who messed up with my uniform.* Hyun Mi thought then answered. “We’re not enemies. We just don’t enjoy each other’s presence.”

Min Joon shook his head. “Okay then, if that’s what you say. I mean, It’s not like I can do anything about it right?” Hyun Mi nod then shooed Min Joon away. After he had left, Hyun Mi slumped herself in the bleachers and sighed.

*Stupid uniform. Why do you have to be so tight?! Stupid P.E. class, Why do I even have to attend you?! Stupid teacher, why do you keep us waiting?! Stupid everything, why do things always go complicated?!*

Hyun Mi scratched her head in frustration when someone tapped her shoulders from the back. She spun around then narrowed her eyes at the person sitting behind her.

“What do you want?” She asked Tao. He blinked at her then smiled. “Bad mood huh?”

Hyun Mi rolled her eyes. “Don’t even get me started.” She replied. Tao stood up from his seat then sat beside her. “Mind telling me what it’s about? I’m a good listener you know.” He rested his chin in his palms, facing Hyun Mi’s direction.  “And you might as well tell me why you’re wearing such things.” He eyed her uniform. Hyun Mi’s face turned into a bright shade of pink due to embarrassment. For a second, Hyun Mi couldn’t find the right words to answer. “Y-yah! Stop staring you idiot!” Hyun Mi pointed a finger at him. Tao couldn’t help but chuckle. “Don’t tell me you’re attending P.E. class with such tight clothing. It’s gonna get ripped.” He muttered. “I am not! Something just happened… “ Hyun Mi trailed.

Tao shot up from his seat. “Let’s go.” He snickered. She looked up at his face. “What?”

“I said, come with me.” He ordered then grabbed Hyun Mi’s wrist. She was forced to stand up due to Tao’s intense stare at her, it’s like she got hypnotized.  

“W-what are we doing here? I’m not supposed to be here.” Hyun Mi lowered her head.

They we’re in the male locker room.

Tao kept on scanning his locker for something. “It’s okay since it’s just the two of us.”

“Idiot, that makes it even more awkward!” Hyun Mi spat then covered her lousy mouth. Tao chuckled. “What?” He closed his locker and turned to Hyun Mi’s direction with a smirk in his face. Hyun Mi’s ears burned hot. “I’m not gonna do anything to you, Hyun Mi. You should know that.” Tao lamented.

“Here! Change into these.” He threw something at Hyun Mi. Hyun Mi furrowed her brows. “A shirt?”

“Wear it.” He answered. Hyun Mi raised a brow. “I already borrowed Jih-“

“Just wear it.” Tao abruptly said. “Okay okay, jeez!” Hyun Mi hushed.

“Good. I’ll just go wait for you outside.” He walked away and left the room. Hyun Mi watched him leave with a queer eye then mocked at him the moment he was out of sight. “Stupid Panda guy. So demanding.” Hyun Mi muttered as she changes her shirt. After she finished changing, she checked herself from the mirror.

*Atleast the shirt isn’t that tight. But screw this school. Why use shorts for P.E.?!*

“Are you finished?” Tao’s voice beamed from the door.

“Ah, dae!” Hyun Mi shouted back. Tao came back and examined Hyun Mi. “Much better.”

Hyun Mi made a face at him. “I know I should thank you for lending me your shirt, but I think I won’t be able to attend P.E. wearing these.” She hollered. “Really?” Tao innocently asked.

“Uh. Yeah?”

“What shall we do then?” He pretended to think then looked at the window. “Let’s just not attend the class.” He added.

Hyun Mi’s eyes widened. “NO!” She glowered. “Tao you bad influence, I am not gonna go cutting classes.”

Tao scratched his head then snickered. “Oh okay then, if that’s what you want. But I heard the class is gonna play dodge ball.” He brushed his chin. Hyun Mi shook her head. “Uh, I in hate that game.” She whispered to herself.

Tao was being manipulative. He knew she hates strength draining games, especially dodge ball since he had been observing her for awhile. He also knew that Hyun Mi always changes her mind.

“Okay Hyun Mi. If you’re not going then I’ll take my leave. Just keep this a secret okay? Don’t tell Mr. Kwon.” Tao reminded while Hyun Mi was in deep thoughts.

 Tao walked his way towards the window to sneak out since leaving through the door would be pointless. Of course he doesn’t want to get caught!

“Wait! Hold it right there Huang Zi Tao!” Hyun Mi howled and made a stop sign. Tao spun his head. “Hm? You called?”

She bit her lip and fiddled her fingers. “I think..um.. I’ coming with you.”

Tao let out a mischievous smirk. “Really? Let’s go then.” He extended his arms towards Hyun Mi which she just shook away.
