Chapter 4
Fragments
The five demons went back to the human world immediately despite the reassured safety of the keeper. They had a tight schedule as human rock stars and they had no choice but to oblige to their commitments as artists. They all found happiness in what they did in the human world, especially now that the reason they were there already knew their music.
“Hey Jaejin, Seol made a twitter account.” Hongki laughed out loud. “She’s following us.” He continued laughing and Jonghun and Jaejin decided to check their accounts as well to confirm what Hongki said. “I wonder how she will react if her memory comes back and she fangirled over us.” Hongki continued laughing and Jonghun and Jaejin laughed with him as well. They all cracked up when they saw that she was really following their twitter accounts.
“She doesn’t even understand Korean.” Jaejin snorted and they all kept on laughing.
“She completely turned to a Primadonna.” Jonghun said with complete amusement.
The two youngest came in and noticed that the older demons were having their own share of fun without them.
“What’s so funny?” Minhwan asked them but the three won’t stop laughing. It took a lot of effort before they were able to stop.
“Seol made a twitter account AND SHE’S FOLLOWING ALL OF US.” Hongki burst out again in laughter and the other two laughed again. Minhwan and Seunghyun couldn’t believe it and their eyes widened when they saw the proof in Hongki’s hands.
“What the hell?” Seunghyun and Minhwan cracked up as well.
Jonghun suddenly had an idea. “Oh wait, let’s tweet and see if she’ll reply.” They all gathered around Jonghun as he tweet a random selca he took just a few minutes ago and waited if she will reply. His mentions were instantly spammed but none was from her.
“Her twitter is locked.” Hongki said in disappointment. “That means we cannot see her mentions about us even if she does tweet us.” The boys’ energy suddenly died down with what he said.
“Oh well, at least she’ll see our messages from now on.” Jaejin said, trying to be positive about the matter.
“Let’s continue practicing. We’ll be going to Japan soon. We must prepare for the Christmas concert as well.” The prince ordered and they shuffled back to their places.
When they were done for the day practicing, they all went to their rooms and did their own businesses. As for Jaejin, he immediately took the crystal ball and watched over his lover who was currently listening to their music while studying for an exam. He smiled softly at her and decided to cheer her up a bit by tweeting a selca since he knew that he was her favorite member. He waited for her to notice his tweet so he could watch over her reaction.
She was busy memorizing a lot of terms and thanks to the music she was listening to, she wasn’t that stressed. She was enjoying the melody while trying her best to learn everything that was needed for her exams tomorrow. She decided to take a break and peeked at her laptop. A big smile formed on her face when she saw that Jaejin posted a selca and she stared at it for a long time. Jaejin was watching her from afar, totally happy to see her reaction.
“Now how am I supposed to study? It’s not easy to be a university student you know. You’re clouding my head!” She said to Jaejin’s picture in front of her and he couldn’t help but giggle when he heard that. He felt an utmost longing for her of wanting to touch her and feel her but all he could do was look at her through that crystal ball. “BAKA!” She screamed at Jaejin’s picture and stuck her tongue out like a kid and giggled over him for the last time before going back to studying. He laughed out loud at her action and it reached the ears of the other demons outside. They checked on him, why he was laughing so hard, only to find out he was staring at the crystal ball.
“Is it time for her bath already?” Hongki and Jaejin instantly threw a fire ball in his face.
“ARE YOU WATCHING HER EVEN WHEN SHE’S TAKING A BATH? I WILL BURN YOU TO CRISP.” Jaejin was in rage. His veins were showing as if it was popping out, his body was emitting blue flames. He was ready to burn the older demon with his right hand that was completely engulfed in fire.
“Re…Relax Jin. I was kidding. A joke you know.” But Jaejin kept on advancing towards Hongki. His flames grew bigger when suddenly someone dropped a water spell at him.
“Jaejin relax. You’re the only one who does that.” The prince came and Jaejin was back on his senses when the cold water washed his flames off.
“I do not watch her when she’s bathing or what so ever!” Jaejin defended his self and they all laughed at him.
“I know I know. The crystal ball fades to black if there are instances like that. It was meant to be that way. Haven’t you noticed that for 5 years?” Jonghun questioned him and that was when a realization hit him.
“Sorry, my mind went blank and I completely forgot about that.” Jaejin smiled innocently at Hongki who almost got burned.
“Good thing you came right on time before I turned into ashes.” Hongki cried out to Jonghun who was patting his head.
“Just don’t piss him off next time okay.” The prince reminded him and he nodded his head. “You better cool yourself a bit since you’re wet already.” He told Jaejin and the younger demon followed.
“You should know best not to mess with Jaejin about Seol.” The prince continued scolding the older demon as they watched over the crystal ball. Hongki just nodded and continued staring at the figure. They were all taken aback however when they saw her pulling out a letter from one of her books. They looked at one another nervously and waited for her to open to confirm if their suspicions were right. She slowly opened it and read out the letter in her hands.
“A love letter indeed.” Hongki said, feeling a bit sad for his friend.
“It can’t be helped I guess. She is too pretty for a human so it’s not the first time someone confessed to her.” Seunghyun suddenly joined them and he watched over Seol also as she read the letter. “She’ll probably reject him again like the rest of the guys who asked her out in the past years.” He said confidently.
“How are you so sure?” The prince asked him and he smiled at them but there was a hint of pain in his eyes.
“I’ve been watching her from afar for years and I can pretty much tell if she’s in love or not and during her stay in the human world, nothing sparked her interest.” Seunghyun explained. “She never looked at anyone the way she looked at Jaejin.” He said softly as he walked away and dismissed the matter.
“I’m just wondering, what if she falls in love with a human during her stay here?” Hongki couldn’t help but ask Jonghun and the prince just shrugged at the question, unsure how to answer.
“Let’s just hope she doesn’t.” He replied and left the crystal ball.
Inside the crystal ball, Seol couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw who it was from. Her hands were shaking, her face was red, and she was so excited she had to tell someone about it. She dialed Yuki’s number and impatiently waited for Yuki to pick up.
“YUKI!!!” She screamed at her phone right when she heard her picking up. “You won’t believe what happened!”
“Calm down, calm down, now tell me what happened?” Yuki said to her and she tried relaxing a bit despite her being overjoyed.
“Jun! I mean Hirazawa-san!”
“WHAT?!”
“CONFESSED! LETTER! TOMORROW! LUNCH!”
“OH MY GOSH? HE WHAT? CONFESSED WITH A LETTER AND ASKED TO MEET YOU AT LUNCH TOMORROW? Is my understanding right?”
“Yes.” She was blushing at that moment. She answered with complete easiness but she was actually overjoyed that the person she was interested in confessed to her.
Their conversation went on for a few minutes. It was as if the heavens had heard Hongki’s words from a few moments ago. Just when Jaejin got out of shower he resumed looking at the crystal ball only to see his beloved’s face happily humming with their song while reading her notes. He had no idea that the only human that caught Seol’s interest asked her out. He continued looking at her even though nothing special happened until Seol went to bed.

so im 2 days late, but dont worry i'll keep the 5 days promise so i'll be posting it on friday still.. :) and guess what.. LAPPY IS BACK! ^^ im back and hopefully i can write regularly again.. before i start working hopefully im done writing this fic.. :)
