The dragon was now back in office.

Eunmi went back to her routine of running the business.

Still no word on where Kyungri was.

Maybe she fled the country.

She was in her office signing some papers when the door opened and in popped Johnny.

He kissed her head before sitting down on the couch.

“So how is the busy bee?”

“Busy”

“Shouldn’t you be resting more?”

“I can’t throw all this work for Lin, he still has classes”

“But it’s not like he can’t handle it”

“I want him to enjoy his freedom before he’s stuck in corporate life”

“Sure. anyways I’m here to drag you to lunch”

Eunmi placed her pen down as Johnny grabbed her bag and waited for her.

Lunch was typical, they were at another Michelin restaurant recommended by Jaehyun.

The gang was catching up on their latest events.

No one uttered the name which was not to be said, especially with an on edge Taeyong.

And now everyone was off to their respective places.

Taeyong lingered around a bit with Eunmi as they were walking to a close by coffee shop.

“Are you feeling better?”

“It’s been two weeks since I’ve been out of the hospital”

He bit his lip before continuing, “I know but I want to ask”

She shook her head playfully, “if i wasn’t fine i wouldn’t be in office”

He opened the door for her as they entered the shop looking at the menu.

“Americano with vanilla?”

Eunmi nodded and went to find the two a table.

As she sat down she was staring outside the window when something caught her eye.

Her eyes narrowed at what seemed to be a familiar figure.

Is that..kyungri?

Following her hunch she left the cafe to follow the woman who seemed to be rushing off somewhere.

‘You’re not escaping now. Not today’

Taeyong got the drinks and as he was turning he noticed Eunmi jogging towards someone.

He handed the drinks to a guy passing by before going after Eunmi.

‘Where is she going’

Before long Eunmi was in a narrow passageway.

The lady still had her back turned before she faced Eunmi with a smirk

Finally understanding her situation Eunmi took a sharp intake.

Three guys appeared from their spots, one holding a baseball bat in front of her, one guy next to Kyungri and another behind her.

“You’d think you’d learn before running off like that”

“Yeah? Well I saw a snake that I had to catch”

Kyungri’s face was now angered as she yelled at the baseball bat guy to attack, “don’t just stand there you oaf! Finish her!”

Taeyong finally caught up with Eunmi and saw that she was surrounded but his breath escaped him as his ex was in front of Eunmi.

Just as the guy was about to swing his baseball bat at Eunmi he sent a kick and knocked the bat out of his hands.

“What the-”

Eunmi looked behind her and relief washed over.

Taeyong had finished the bat goon before taking the bat and pointing it at Kyungri.

“Not today”

Kyungri tried to run as the other two goons attacked Taeyong, Eunmi sprinted to her side and tripped the girl before she could go further.

On the floor Kyungri struggled as Eunmi did her best to pin her down.

“Look, I finally caught an Arbok”

Kyungri was trying to push her off when Taeyong grabbed the girl, “you’re not going anywhere”

Moments later the police arrived at the scene.

Kyungri was to be escorted by the Blue House guards to make sure she doesn’t escape a second time.

This time Taeyong would make sure of it.

Eunmi was sitting in the ambulance with a blanket covering her as the EMT’s made sure she was fine.

Taeyong was talking with his brother and the chief tying any loose ends.
