“Sera?” Jungkook’s brow knitted into a frown as he caught her sight in front of Jimin’s room. He wondered what happened but when he heard her faint sob, it sent chills down his spine. Did something happen to Jimin? He took quick steps to her small body wanting an answer.

Squatting before her, he was careful not to startle her “Sera…What happen” his voice was soft with a hint of concern. Jungkook reached out to her hair, he could sense something definitely went wrong and for some reason it had something to do with Jimin.

Her hair fall messily covering her face as he looked up to see a handsome face in front of her “K..kuk” she rushed into his arms, burying face in her shoulder. He did not expect that but thankfully he managed to balance himself from stumbling backwards.

“Hey… what is wrong..” he wrapped his arms around her small figure, pulling Sera deep into his arm. He liked this closeness; somewhat he could feel the throbbing pain in her. Sera chose not to answer him just yet since her earlier conversation with Jimin overwhelmed her. She just wanted to let all the tears at once. Pain and sorrow, it numbed her.

“Get me away from here please..just anywhere but not here..” she sniffed between her words. It was clear enough for him to get the whole idea that it suffocated her to be inside this building.

Jungkook nodded while rubbing her arms softly “Let’s go” he helped her to stand on her feet as they exited the area. Sera on the other hand stayed glued to his side along their way to the rooftop garden. Her mind was not stable enough for her to walk around at this time; she wished it was not hard to fix a broken heart.

Fifteen minutes of silence. None of them uttered anything and they chose to star gaze. Once in awhile he would hear Sera exasperated a heavy sigh as her eyelashes batted beautifully. Jungkook early plan was to meet Jimin and bid his final farewell. He felt it was time to get back his life on track but he couldn’t do it anywhere near Sera.

Sera was his weakness. He didn’t want to keep hurting himself when it was impossible to own Sera to himself. Apart from that, he wanted to tell Sera his real feelings before ending this for good. However, he was contemplating whether to make it happen tonight. Jungkook still had no idea what happened between Jimin and Sera.

Sera hugged her body, rubbing her fingers along her arms to get the warmth. It was chilly outside but her heart is colder. Jungkook tilted his head realizing how thin that hospital pyjamas that she had, so he decided to take off her grey hoodie leaving him in his black shirt underneath.

With a charming smile, he kneeled before her “Wear this..it is cold” she was taken aback of their close proximity but she managed to crack a small smile. Jungkook leaned forward and help her to put on the hoodie. Sera smiled inwardly loving the warmth that she got along with his scent from the hoodie.

He returned to his seat, closing the gap between them as Sera leaned her head against his shoulder “Kkuk..ah..” her voice was a mixture of pain and defeat.

“He let me go…” Jungkook squinted his eyes trying to get the clear idea. What was she trying to indicate? Jimin was letting him go? They broke up?

It was a long pause before she continued “Jimin…wanted a break. He is letting me go” Sera could feel her dam was about to explode again. So it really did, her tears cascaded down.

His eyes shot open, and he thought to himself it was absurd.

“Why?” her hands were shaking violently and it ache his heart. Jungkook interlaced their fingers together as he gave her a light squish. He liked how her small hands fit so perfectly in his, it felt like home.
