Chapter 11: Was it a friendly relationship? Was it one sided? Was it more than just a friend?

Narrator’s Pov

Jimin carefully used his elbow to press the button to Sera’s apartment; she was sleeping quite peacefully on his back. The door clicked opened and Jin’s sleepy face welcomed them “Jiminie, what are y- Wait, Sera? What happen to her? Is she hurt?” Jin freaked out to see Jimin’s sudden appearance at his doorstep. The last time Jimin visited him was months ago without Sera’s presence at home.

“ Chill. She is okay, she passed out after drinking bottles of Soju. Make way for me, I need to put her down on bed” Jimin was tired but he enjoyed doing this simple things for Sera.

Jin was about to ask questions, he sure had so much things in his head as expected obsessive brother. He made way for Jimin as he quickly closed the door and led him to Sera’s bedroom.

Jimin carefully tuck Sera’s on her bed with Jin’s help, he stretched a little to loosen his muscle. “Both of you had a drink together? She does not even let me drink with her, this punk” Jin mumbled in annoyance with his hands diligently took off Sera’s heels setting it down on floor.

“ No. I got a call from Sunhi. She said the stall owner informed her, Sera was too drunk to get back home by her own” Jimin shrugged while his eyes scanned her room. He liked the ambience of the room, vintage and floral.

“And why would Sunhi call you instead of me? I am her brother and who are you?” he pulled the duvet over Sera’s body.

“Maybe I am the guardian of her heart” Jimin rolled his eyes following Jin out from the room.

Jin bewildered at Jimin’s stupid reply “ You are cocky. Why would you be the guardian of her heart? Eww” Jimin sat down on the couch, leaning back while stretching his legs. Seokjin settled down beside Jimin and handed him a can of beer. They used to spend their free time drinking, had a heart-to-heart talk like a gentleman before he got a full-time job. Too bad, nowadays they were too busy to even bump into each other.

Jimin took a long sip enjoying the taste of the beer as Jin remained silent beside him. They were staring blankly at the ceiling watching the fan circled round and round. “How’s thing with Sera?” his sudden question sent tingle to Jimin’s heart. He did not exactly know how to answer that question; he was unsure what they actually were right now.

Was it a friendly relationship? Was it more than just a friend? Was it a one sided thing?

Jimin let out a soft sigh, “Things were good. We catch up on each other’s life. I like how she just reappears in my life again. She seems different, a mature version of Sera that I know few years ago. I like that” his lips curl up into a cheeky smile.

Anyone who saw how stupidly Jimin smiled would know he was madly in love.

Seokjin chuckled, “ I never expect this to happen. You and Sera. I have always seen her as my baby sister, when I found out she actually has a thing for you, It is upsetting me” Jimin frowned.

“Why is she having a thing for me upsetting you, seriously? You are a jealous freak Jinnie.” Jimin shook his head showing his disapproval.

“Well at first, It was weird. Why would she like a guy with weird choice of colour hairstyle like you? You don’t even have a sense in fashion. You changed your hair colour every year, pink , blonde, brown, black, orange and pink again. Most importantly your eyeliner, that is horrible. I never like your pink hair” Jin cringed.

Jimin nudged the older boy shoulder as a protest “ And, when you think about it. You never told me that you actually have feelings for my sister? We are best friend, like bro-bro yet you betray me. I hate betrayal the most. It stings” Jimin chuckled at his ridiculous reasons.

Sometimes Jin could be unreasonable and unreadable, he would say anything that he thought was right according to his brilliant brain.

“ No one with sane mind would tell the girl’s obsessive, overprotective and insane brother that he actually has feelings for her sister. Wow you really won all the titles to yourself” Jimin scoffed.

“ That is why I’m the best man that she ever had in life” his confident big time. Jin turned his head to Jimin’s direction “ Are you worried this is a one sided thing? I could read you” he smirked.
