Chapter 12: You touch her, i will end you

Jungkook followed the direction provided by an application in his phone, making his way to a school few blocks from a familiar café. He remembered the café from his meeting with Sera a week ago. He stopped walking following the beep sound from the application; his eyes scanned the building across the road ‘This is an elite school. Why would he want a kid from this school?’ he flinched.

Jungkook leaned his body against the wall patiently waited for the school session to end. He was supposed to get the kid in the photo and brought him to a discreet place where Max’s men would be waiting in their black Urvan. He should not meddle with their business; his job did not cover more than just luring some innocent kids or girls.

Once he got the kid, his job was considered done. Max’s right man even warned him relating to today’s mission importance and he must not lose the kid, no matter what. The man even stressed the fact that the kid that he was about to illegally abduct worth more than millions.

He saw few students excitedly exited the building as the school ended ‘Get this done and you can go back earlier’ he motivated himself as his eyes eagerly looking for familiar face that he saw earlier in his phone. A small boy holding onto a red umbrella caught his attention ‘That is him’ Jungkook fixed his glasses as he approached the innocent boy.

“ Hi there little boy” he kneeled to match the boy’s height and gave him a friendly smile.

The boy blinked at him cutely “Who are you hyung?” he took a step back.

“Oh don’t be scared, this hyung is your mother’s friend. Your mother asked me to pick you up.” Jungkook hated lying to innocent soul like him, he felt dirty for doing this.

“My mother said not to talk to strangers” the boy frowned cutely.

Jungkook pulled out a lollipop from his pocket “ Your mother bought this. She said I can get you back home” he tried cooed the little boy with sweets.

As expected, kids like him fall for something as simple as lollipop easily.

The boy took the lollipop and bowed politely “Thank you hyung! Let’s go back” the boy took Jungkook’s hand which startled him.

He stared at the boy and heaved a soft sigh “Let’s go your mother is waiting” he smiled sweetly. ‘What are you doing Jeon Jungkook? Don’t be weak or your mom dies’ he gave the boy a light squish as he stood up.

“Jeon Jungkook?” he heard a familiar voice yelled for his name.

Jungkook hissed under his breath ‘Damn, not today’ he tried to ignore the voice pretending to misheard that individual, he continued took few steps forward when he felt a strong grip held him back.

“Yah Jeon Jungkook. Didn’t you hear me calling you?” Jungkook knew this voice,it was his one and only best friend Park Jimin. He turned to face Jimin, holding his back his frustration.

He was shocked to see how much he changed over years “Seriously dude? Pink?” he scoffed.

Jimin smacked his back head “That was not a polite way to greet your hyung after years disappearing” he was rather dissatisfied with the response that he received from Jungkook. Three years since he last saw Jimin, and it was amusing how he had his hair pink now. Back then, Jimin had his hair blonde.

Jungkook almost forgot the little boy who was still holding onto his hand with a confuse look plastered on his face ‘Damn what should I do. I can’t just lie on Jimin’s face, he would know immediately that this kid isn’t mine. Abort mission’

Jimin averted his gaze to the little boy “ Jungkook I didn’t know you were married?” he was slightly amused.

Jungkook let go the boy’s hand “No he isn’t my son. He is someone else kid. Her mother asked me to send him back safely” he lied. Jungkook crouched down at his level and whispered something in his ears hoping Jimin would not be able to hear them. The boy nodded and made his way inside the school again.

“Is it okay? You should be sending him home right?” Jimin blinked.

“I got a text from his mother; she will pick him up in 10 minutes. So, I told him to wait inside the school. It is safer” he mumbled. ‘Im a dead meat. Max will throw a fit. Why out of all day, Jimin needs to appear catching me red handed’ he was super frustrated.

Nevertheless, Jungkook could not risk his secret being discovered by Jimin. “I am sorry for disappearing. I was busy, Jims” he sighed. He felt bad for not keeping in touch when Jimin had always been a good friend to him, he was a jerk.

“Busy is understatement Jungkook. You should have at least sent me a good morning text, it would not take you the whole year to do that unless you are hiding something from me.”

Jimin could sense something was off, from the way how Jungkook reacted. Most importantly the boy that he just saw, it did not make sense. Jungkook seemed flustered, he wondered what actually happened.

Jungkook mumbled “ I know, I lost your number. Besides I went to your house once, I forgot where you were staying. I am sorry, hyung” Jimin eyed him closely as if trying to read his lies.

“Your never ending excuse. I am not forgiving you just yet; you need to make a lot of amends. But I have to say you look quite good despite disappearing for years. Did you exercise?” Jimin poked his arm. “Oooo Jungkookie quite a muscle that you have here” Jimin started to squish his biceps teasing the younger boy. Jimin’s hand continued to roam from his arm to his chest.

Jungkook slapped his hand away “ Stop feeling me. Are you gay for me already Jims? I don’t blame you when I am too handsome” he sneered sarcastically. He missed those times when
