Chapter 15:Kim Taehyung the Chaebol urm.. or not? 

Jungkook’s POV

Ever since Yoongi’s first encounter with Sera, he had been questioning me about her nonstop and the topic surprisingly included Jimin. Yoongi acted like those desperate paparazzi who wanted a scoop of scandalous story of Jimin and Sera love life. If and only this guy was not my best friend, I had already killed him in his sleep.

To be honest, it would be a lie if the thought of their real relationship did not affect me but I tried not to make myself obvious. I was unsure with my own feelings, at one point I felt jealous seeing Sera and Jimin but I convinced myself all over again that my feelings for Sera was merely friend to friend.

It was not the best time to think about my complicated feelings, for now I had something better to do. Max’s right man finally gave me a call handling me a new task. I was relieved as the job that I needed to complete today did not involve children or girls.

Every time his right man delivered me a task, I prayed hard it would not involve any innocent souls.

I could handle drugs but not ruining human’s life.

However, today would be different as compared to days that I spent pleasing Max, I was determined to get Big Max inside police radar. They had been hiding for way too long; it was time for a little digging. I knew the police could not arrest them for the crime that committed overnight, but at least this little effort that I did today might lead them to something.

My best friends agreed to join hand and helped me to get Max out inside police radar. I was supposed to deliver packages which I assumed full with drugs and money to our loyal client and I swore it was a big company. This company was the main pioneer of all the advancement of technology that you could see in our country. But, that was not the only business that they did.

For some reason, when someone became richer and in a higher status they tended to get greedy. They lusted for more and more wealth and power, and this happened to this company owned by the famous Mr Kim. Due to their good reputation in the society, people tended to see their good side only.

I snickered ‘If and only they knew how dirty these guys are’ I shook my head as I grabbed my usual outfits, getting ready to declare war against Max.

“ Are you sure you want to do this? The consequences will be severe Jungkook. We don’t know if they still have your mother. If they do, they can do anything to your mother” I heard Hoseok spoke in his unusual serious tone.

I sighed deeply “If my mother were here, she would ask me to do the same. I am ready with any consequences that I may be facing soon. I will try my best to ensure my mother safety…” deep down inside I feared that it would affect her safety. If they had my mother, Big Max would not hesitate to kill her once he found out what I was about to do.

Namjoon gave me a light pat on my shoulder “ Don’t worry man, she will be alright. But you are right, your mother wants what its best for you. Whatever you do today, you don’t want her to live in misery anymore. God who knows what that devil does to her” I gave him a genuine smile. I appreciated his concern; he would always be a good brother to me.

Yoongi who was busy staring at his laptop screen lifted his head to my direction “ Remember Kookie. Hobii and Namjoon will be bringing the fake bag in, what you have to do is to distract them. Their security is quite tight, I tried to hack inside and set a timer for the cctv to stop functioning for 5 minutes” he mumbled.

“Okay 5 minutes. Taehyung will be there, I will distract him.” I hated the fact that I was about to betray Taehyung’s dad but I had no choice. Taehyung was not supposed to be someone close to me however we ended up bonding after doing a lot of business together. He was an heir of the company but rumours said he was a hidden son, so he might not be the real heir after all. Taehyung worked his off from bottom to reach to this level just to gain his father trust yet every time we went out for a drink, he would complain about his old man. I felt bad for him, so we eventually became drink buddies.

Yoongi nodded “ That Taehyung guy make sure he won’t mess this up. The rest of you only five minutes the moment this code kicks in. I will be going to police station to deliver this box. You must get out from that building as soon as the exchange done, understand?” I let out a small chuckle as watching Yoongi went all serious for once was amusing, he was a genius.

“Damn Suga… you are so y right now, I am falling for you” I heard Hoseok coaxed Yoongi in a joking way earning a high kick from Yoongi. They sure knew how to ease the tension at this critical time.

I entered Kim Corps luxurious building and I could see two men were already waiting for me at the main entrance. I went to pick up a black leather bag at Max usual warehouse earlier; this bag was fully loaded with all kind of drugs just named it, and I was sure it worth more than the previous one that I used to deliver to them. I had no idea why a big company like this needed drugs for their business, I did not even want to know though they wanted to tell me. They made an inspection on me before leading me inside.

“Yo, Jungkook!” I saw Taehyung gave me a salute, as he approached me “What a big package you have there. Let’s go inside. And oh you two don’t need to come, I knew this dude he is a friend of mine. So go back to your original post” he ushered me into a lift and together we glided up to 10th floor.

I felt bad that Taehyung put so much trust on me and now here I was ready to ruin his family business. I followed him entering his office “ I haven’t seen you around, where were you Tae?” he gave me his so called cute smile, that didn’t amuse me at all.

“Are you missing me Jungkook? I thought our relationship is strictly business” Taehyung made it sounded so wrong, like we were in that kind of relationship.

I rolled my eyes with a sarcastic remarks “ Right, since you didn’t show up having your daily ranting at the bar I assume you are already taking over this company as a CEO” Taehyung scoffed.

“That old man did not even want me in a family dinner, taking over this company as a CEO? What a bull” Taehyung made his way to his table, pulling out a black briefcase from his table.

Kim Taehyung; despite appeared all dashing, annoying and sometimes a little too cocky he was just a son who needed his father’s love and attention. I knew how I used to study so hard back then just to make my parents proud.
