Chapter 17: It is time to return the favor Kim Sera

Sera took a quick glance at her watch as she cursed in her head ‘Kim Sera why didn’t you check the time? You stupid stupid girl’. Jungkook had left twenty minutes ago looking better and she was happy that she could comfort him.

However, she totally missed her very first date with Jimin. She hailed a cab to get to her destination faster as Sera tapped her foot nervously hoping that Jimin would still be there. Sera screwed up this date and should be blamed for it.

She could not imagine how much destruction it would bring to their relationship.

The journey was short but it felt way too long, as soon as they arrived at the destination Sera quickly paid the driver and ran out to find Jimin. To her dismay, the skatepark was closed. There were no sign of human except few workers who just exited the park. They were supposed to meet here four hours ago, but it passed the operation hours.

Sera walked for thirty minutes and didn’t get anywhere. She grew frustrated and took a turnoff to the left hoping to catch Jimin nearby. She felt the pain from the ankle, all the way up to her legs from the heels that she wore.

She finally gave up as she leaned against the cold wall ‘I screwed up. He must think I am playing him’ she sighed deeply. Sera kicked her heels, squatting down while giving her legs a light massage. At this rate, she already lost hope and she was ready to see her relationship with Jimin destroyed.

Sera felt like bawling but she was too tired to even breath, she hid her face in her knees as she tried not to give in to her negative thought. A footstep broke the silence but she paid no attention to it. She just wanted to hide her face under her blanket and screamed.

She felt a presence in front of her squatting down at her level, for some reason her stomach twitched in fear.

Jimin ran his finger in her hair it gently “Sera..” his voice was soft and sweet.

Sera snapped her head up to see Jimin staring into her orbs with that attractive eyes of his “Jims..You..” his breathtaking presence literally took her breath away.

She was relieved to see him.

Without hesitation she threw her arms around his neck, as she pulled him close into an unusual tight hug “I am sorry” she buried her face in his neck.

Jimin was never mad at her so she had no reason to apologize. He waited for Sera to come until the skatepark officially closed for the day and he grew worried when she didn’t show up. Jimin thought she stood him up because she was not ready to bring their relationship to another level. As negative thoughts kicked in, he did feel like giving up. He didn’t really leave for the night.

Hence, in order to gather his thought he decided to talk a walk around the area just to gather back his almost broken spirit. When Jimin saw a familiar figure squatting with her face buried in knees, he knew he shouldn’t have given in to negative thoughts. She really showed up. And, for whatever reason why she couldn’t show up earlier he knew she had her own reasons.

Jimin his hand down encircled it around her waist securely, pulling her close to him “Don’t be. You did nothing to apologize” he whispered.

Sera held onto him dearly “I am afraid that I might lose you..” she muttered with her eyes close enjoying Jimin’s warm embrace. Her confession fluttered his heart; Sera had never been this honest.

His lips curled into a genuine smile “So do i.. Kim Sera…” Jimin pulled away from the hug taking a long pause. He gathered his courage to let this feeling that he had been keeping for years. Pressing their forehead together, he brushed his thumb over her cheeks as she gazed back lovingly.

He loved this girl and he did not want to lose her anymore.

Five years were more than enough; he did not want to lose her again. “Kim Sera, I have kept this feeling to myself for five years; I don’t think I can handle it anymore. I can’t imagine my life without you. Your smile, your laugh, the smell of your perfume, the way your lips curls into a cute pout when you’re upset even to the simplest touch that we share, I can’t seem to get enough of you” Sera bit her lower lips as she caressed his cheeks. Her heart now felt much warmer hearing those beautiful words from Jimin.

Jimin brought her hand close to his lips and he planted a soft kiss on it “ You are my person, Kim Sera. I hate how I can’t stop loving you since that day when I saw you in that fitting room” he mumbled. Sera who had no idea about the fitting room stared at him curiously.

“What fitting room? I thought the first time we met was when you knocked me down in front of our school gate” she pinched his nose seeking for answer “You better tell me everything Park Jiminieeee” she whined.

“You are impatient. I was planning to tell you, don’t use violence on your sweetheart” he removed her hand off his nose and wrapped it around his neck. Their bodies are pinned closer than they were before and it made Sera blush.

Jimin chuckled softly “Stay still, dummy” he whispered.

“Remember your first school theatre? Jungkook went for an audition of one of the roles; I did not know what got him because he was not talented at all. He persuaded me to come and watch his awful acting so I did. Then Jungkook freaked out when he found out there was no man to do his makeup and hair, now tell me how that guy is still alive after discriminating people via gender” Sera chuckled as the memories of her very first theatre role came to her mind.

He continued “So, he S.O.S me. I went to find him at the backstage but to my surprise it was huge as hell, I got lost. I had no idea where I was, there were too many rooms, wardrobes, and people. I made way to the east then I heard an angelic voice seeking for help in one of the fitting rooms” Sera now had her eyes fix on his because she seemed to figure out where this story might lead. She let him continue to confirm her assumptions.

Jimin smirked “ I saw a girl struggled in her tight top. At first I did not want to help since I was afraid that you might smack me for being in that fitting room with you staring at your exposed skin” Sera slapped his shoulder glaring at him with a frown.

“So that saviour was you! It freaked me out when you were no longer to be seen, I really thought it was a freaking ghost” Sera brows twitched.

“I did not actually leave; I was hiding across your fitting room. I couldn’t take a good look at you, so I decided to hide” he defended himself.

“And creeping on me?” she raised her eyebrows as she knocked her forehead with softly.
