Jessie's POV

     I looked up into Dad's eyes and saw how lonely he looked even though I hadn't even left yet. I sighed and signaled him to bend down with my finger. Now that he was eye level, I quickly gave him a kiss on the cheek and smiled as sweetly as I could. Although I didn't want to leave him and Grandma alone, I was more determined to reunite him with Jessica. Plus, my exitment at finally being able to meet her was increasing each second. 

     "Do you really need to go?" Dad asked me over the sounds of the noisy train station. He was pouting which made me giggle. It was no wonder why women still fell for his charms. 

     "Yes, Daddy. I really want to learn how to sing better, and this camp is supposed to be really amazing! Plus, I have a friend I'm going to meet there," I responded. Behind us people were boarding the train that would be taking me to the camp. Dad of course was anxious to let me go alone and even insisted so far as to make Grandma come with me. However, I was able to convince him that I was ready for this.

     I heard him sigh in front of me as he got down on his knees. He opened his arms and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and it wasn't until moments later that I finally nudged him away gently. I needed to board the train soon.

     "I'll miss you," he said warmly. This was the first big trip I was going to take without any family with me. Even I was a bit nervous, but I knew something that he didn't. I was going to trick him into coming to the camp, so I wouldn't be alone for long. 

     "I'm going to miss you too," I smiled. He kissed my cheek and stood up again. 

     "Donghae you should go get the ticket for her and get her bags squared away," I heard Grandma speak up. Dad nodded and turned to get everything ready for me. When he was out of earshot Grandma turned to me.

     "Do you know the plan?" she asked slightly anxious. Like all grandmothers, she was worrrying about me. 

     "Yes Grandma," I sighed, 'I'm going to the camp. Then, after a few days, I'm going to call Dad and tell him that I'm super sick. Then he'll come to get me straight away just like the time I went to go stay with Grandpa by myself." 

     "Good. Now you behave okay? I want a phone call home everyday. And don't forget to eat healthy. Too many sweets give you stomach aches and-"

    "Okay, okay. Grandma. I got it," I interrupted her. She smiled and leaned down to give me a kiss. Suddenly the train's whistle sounded and Dad ran up to us.

     "Here's your ticket. Call me if you need anything or if you have any problems. I love you," he said quickly while leading me to the train. i nodded to everything he said and right before I walked into the train, I gave him another kiss. 

     "I love you too," I told him before the train attendant lead me to my seat. Dad just smiled and gave me an anxious wave. Grandma stood next to him, equally as tense, and nodded to me with a small smile. Now all there was left to do was wait before I finally met Jessica Jung.
