Today was the first snowfall of the winter, you woke up to someone banging on your door and the moment you opened it you were bundled in a winter coat and a scarf and your boots and a beanie and were dragged outside by a very excited deer before you can even register anything you were outside as the cold winter wind hit your face “you know.. the only reason you’re still alive is because I love snow” you told the over-excited deer

“come on baobei it’s the first snowfall and you love snow” he said wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing your nose, you couldn’t help but smile as the snow started falling, you both looked up it was beautiful and indeed magical. He looked at you as you were still looking up fascinated by the beautiful falling snow, he couldn’t help but admire the childish innocence that was displayed on your fascinated face, you looked down and met eyes with him he smiled ever so sweetly “ you’re more beautiful than the first snowfall”  he leaned in and gave you a chaste kiss on the lips. He pulled you along to the nearby park, swinging your intertwined hands, you made it to the park and it was so full of live, kids were running around as their parents tried to stay warmed up on the park benches, couples enjoying each other’s company, luhan let go of your hand and you watched him poke his tongue out trying to catch the snowflakes with his tongue, you just shook your head and laughed although luhan was 24 he was still a kid at heart, “lu you are going to hurt your neck” you warned, he ignored your warning and kept his neck craned trying to catch the snowflakes running around like the child he was, after a few minutes he started whining about his neck hurting “ow baobei~~ my neck hurts~” he whined and pouted, “I told you” you told him as you brought your hands to his neck massaging the sour muscles, as you were doing so focusing on his neck, he couldn’t help but stare at your beautiful features again, for some reason to him today you looked even more beautiful than ever “better?” you asked looking up at his face “ah.. yes, thank you baobei” he snapped out of his daze, you smiled at him

“what?” you gasped and asked just above a whisper

“I’m saying I love you__-ah”  he said it, it was the first time he has said he loved you and you felt your heart swell and your eyes grow moist at how sweetly he had said it

“I love you too, luhan” he leaned in and captured your lips in the sweetest, most gentle, most loving of kisses, you pulled apart mirroring each other’s smiles “aww” you heard someone say in a small voice you looked down, you saw minseo and subin two of the cutest six year old girls in your neighborhood, you both blushed a little because you kind of forgot you were in public, “minseo-yah subinnie 안녕”you greeted them cheerfully

“안녕하세요 unnie, oppa” they both bowed respectfully they were so adorable

“안녕 girls” luhan greeted and they squealed a bit making you giggle, he was popular with girls of all ages, he crouched so that he was on their level and talked to them a bit making them blush, it was such a cute sight to see, soon though their parents called for them, they both bowed respectfully then ran off as you and luhan waved at them, luhan laced his fingers with yours and you both started walking towards the less crowded part of the park, he was making footprints  on every perfectly smooth snow patch dragging you along with him, you laughed at his childishness, he suddenly let go of your hand and squatted down before you could ask what he was doing you were hit by a snow ball “yah how old are you?” you whined “24” he replied shamelessly as he threw another snowball, this one you dodged “oh it’s on” you started fighting back throwing snow at each other and laughing like little children, you indeed loved the snow and loved luhan even more for he always brought the child in you to life, after a while he gave in and you danced a little victory dance making him chuckle, you were both covered in white “let’s make snow angels” luhan suggested excitement apparent in his voice “you know you are such a man-child” you said earning a chuckle from him “Nǐ de bǐde pān” he sang and fell back on the snow making a snow angel “come on, peter pan needs his tinkerbell” he urged you to join him and join him you did, you stayed like that for a while just making snow angels and giggling at childish things, he was really just like peter pan although grown up but still a child at heart, he also happened to have found the fountain of youth and looks like child too sometimes. After a while you both got up and brushed your clothes as an attempt to get rid of the white snow, he took your hand in his “how about we go get something to warm us up?” he suggested

“sounds good” you smiled, you both began walking towards the nearby café to get something warm, but you tugged his hand and he stopped and looked at you waiting for an explanation “can you say it one more time?” you asked, he looked at you with a puzzled expression before something clicked in his brain and he smiled widely he stepped closer to you “I love you baobei” he said sincerely, you grinned “I love you my peter pan” you tiptoed and pecked his lips. Then you were both were on your way to warm yourselves although you were already feeling warm and fuzzy from hearing him say those magical words, today was definitely an unforgettable memory that will stay with you forever.
