“yo __-ah what’s popping?”

“yeol what’s up?” you greeted him back and you gave each other a bro-hug.

You and chanyeol have been friends ever since you came to korea, before either of you debuted, as a foreign trainee you had a lot to deal with and he was always there for you being his friendly cheerful self and you naturally grew closer, he became the closest person to you besides your members, he would always greet you with the most random gangsta-wannabe English greeting he picked up from somewhere, it was kind of your thing, your members and the members of exo would always give you weird looks just like they were doing now as you and chanyeol bro-fist each other, they came to say good luck and exchange CDs as the formalities required, after they bowed and you snapped a pic together they left. You excused yourself to the ladies room on the way you met chanyeol on the stairwell he was leaning against the wall, he waved to you when you were close enough “nervous?” he asked, he knew you had a stage fright even though you were an idol “just a little” you replied as you made a pinching hand gesture, he patted your head “don’t worry you’ll do great” he encouraged

“thank you channie” you smiled at him and he felt his insides melt

“you’ll do great too, good luck for growl’s third win” you cheered and he grinned

“thanks~~” he said in his cute English and you giggled

His grin turned into a mischievous smile he pointed to his cheek and bent down a little so he was on your level “how about a kiss for good luck?”

“yah why would i?” you blushed and he pouted

“come on~~ for good luck” he gave you his best puppy-eyes

“okay, fine…gee” you rolled your eyes and leaned in to give him a peck on the cheek

But at that moment jongdae called for chan from down the stairs and chan turned around quickly your eyes widened in surprise as you felt his lips on yours, you both jerked back and you clasped your hands over your mouth and stared at him with wide eyes, he sheepishly smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously eyes glued to the floor “sorry i-i-I didn’t mean to.. it was an accident”  he stuttered, you couldn’t utter a word and blushed madly as you nodded at his statement and ran up the stairs. Your heart was beating like crazy and you didn’t know what to do, you slapped your face lightly and composed yourself before returned to your dressing room.

Meanwhile in exo’s dressing room :

Chanyeol was in a daze , he touched his lips and smiled

“guys … I think chanyeol hyung lost it” said sehun in a weary tone “he’s acting even weirder than usual” he continued, chanyeol was still oblivious to maknae’s accusation as he was still daydreaming about your lips that is until baekhyun shook him, the younger looked at him with a huge smile “dude you’re acting like a psycho, you’re creeping maknae out, actually you’re creeping everyone out”baekhyun said as he shook his friend, chanyeol just laughed and they all like at him like he went mental, until chen opened his mouth “he’s acting like this because mmmm” chanyeol cut him off by putting his giant hand on his mouth and dragged him out, the boys just looked at each other confused and continued whatever they were doing.

Meanwhile outside:

“are you crazy, man?” said chanyeol

“everybody knows you like her anyways” jongdae countered

“what??” asked a very confused chanyeol

“come on, we lived together long enough” jongdae gave him a knowing smile

“still, you can’t tell them i don’t want her to feel uncomfortable” channie mumbled

“aw our channie is such a gentleman” jongdae cooed making the taller boy blush.

Later that day:

Exo were giving their winning speech, and you stood the farthest you can from chanyeol , after everyone left the stage except for exo, you went to your dressing room and gathered your things and disappeared, you had another schedule… that’s the only reason… you weren’t avoiding him, why would you…right?!

After exo left the stage they stopped by your waiting room as the two bands were quite close, they asked about you but your members told them you had a schedule, chanyeol felt a little sad he wanted to clear the air but you left.

You were at the MBC building filling in the questionnaire that the ‘we got married’ producer gave you, you were casted  after your group showed interest in the show, and they wanted you to be in the global edition since you were a foreigner, anyways you filled in the questionnaire and answered the producer’s questions and you were done.

As you were leaving your eyes fell on a familiar figure, you approached him “hi there stranger”

He looked up from his phone and smiled at you “oh __-ah hi, what are you doing here?”

“I got casted, you??”

“I’m here with a friend” jongdae simply replied

“who??”

“one of my members”

“well, duh, which one??”

“sorry, that’s classified information”

You had a mini-staring contest but he didn’t budge even though you glared daggers into him

“fine, be like that” you huffed and left, leaving jongdae laughing like a maniac.

After an hour or so, chanyeol came out “you won’t believe who I just

ran into”

“who??” asked chanyeol ,confused

“your wife, man” jongdae wiggled his brows

Chanyeol looked at him confused then realized what he meant “who is she?? Tell me~~~”

“no, classified information”

“come on, plea~~se please please plea~~se”

“no means no”

They had a mini-staring contest but jongdae didn’t budge, chanyeol pouted “fine, be like that… jerk”chanyeol huffed, and jongdae laughed like a maniac again at the similarity between you and chanyeol  “woah, 대박” chanyeol just looked at him like he’s crazy.

Wednesday:

Today was the day, the very first recording of the show, today you are supposed to meet your ‘husband’ , you were nervous to say the least, especially since you knew it was one of the boys, it just made you even more nervous, although you had a lot on your mind, your thoughts still wondered towards chanyeol, you haven’t seen at all since Friday and every time you remember what happened your heart goes ballistic, you worried how this will effect everything .

The filming crew settled themselves in your practice room and you greeted everyone and the interview started, they gave the instructions and said you can speak in your mother-tongue before the PD yelled ‘action’

“you’re meeting your husband today, how do you feel?” the writer asked

“excited but very very nervous”

“do you have any idea who he might be?”

“not really, everyone’s being so secretive about his identity, can’t you give me a hint, please” you interlocked your hands and brought them under your chin and gave her your best puppy-eyes

“he is someone you know”  was all she said but you knew that already

“ey, 진짜~~”  you whined “어떻게 I’m really nervous”  you said and buried your face in your hands earning a few giggles from the staff at your cuteness, PD yelled ‘cut’ and all cameras stopped rolling except the one shooting ‘behind the scenes’ footage, the camera  came closer to you, you were fooling around with it and asked the camera-man “do you know who’s my husband?” he nodded with his camera “please give me a hint, I won’t tell I promise” he just laughed and shook his camera you pouted, then the recording session was over.

you were at the beauty-salon to get dolled-up for your ‘date’that’s when the crew showed up again, you greeted them as they settled in, the BTS cam started rolling first “안녕” you greeted playfully when it zoomed in “I’m shaking of nervousness right now” you said in your language again “do I look pretty?” you asked playfully and laughed as you grabbed the cam and made it nod, then playtime was over as the PD yelled ‘standby’ everyone got ready ‘action’ cameras started rolling and the writer handed you a mission card, it was a big card and it had a beautiful drawing of a ‘charlie brown’ themed café, and it read : ___ first day of virtual marriage  first meeting of the husband. You read it out loud “your husband chose the location for your date” the writer informed you “really? I really loved Charlie brown when I was a child” you smiled “you’re meant to be then” the writer joked and you laughed shyly before the director yelled ‘cut’ the cameras stopped rolling, and this recording session was over.

Meanwhile at the SM building:

The crew settled themselves in SM’s infamous cloud practice room, and set their black backdrop and everything, then chanyeol arrived he greeted everyone and was given the instructions and the PD yelled ‘action’  then cameras started rolling

“today you will be meeting your wife how do you feel about that?”

“I’m nervous but I am really anticipating this, I think it will be a good experience”

“do you have any idea who she might be?”

“none, everyone seems to know but they won’t tell me, she’s still a mystery”

“what is your ideal type?”

He laughed shyly “ A pale-faced girl with eye-catching features who is short enough to be engulfed in my embrace, I also like someone who has the same taste in music”

“what if she doesn’t fit that ideal type?”

“ah, uh ideals are just ideals, if she is a nice person I’m sure I will like her” he said with a shy smile.

They asked a few more questions and he was done,  he started playing around with the BTS cam and asking for hints but no one would tell him anything, he was very nervous he couldn’t even stand still “what did she say about the location?” he asked looking at the BTS cameraman expectantly “she liked it a lot”

“really?? Really really??” asked chanyeol very excited

“yes, she said it was cute”

The cameras stopped rolling ready to move to the next location, chanyeol thought maybe this isn’t such a bad idea after all but he was still sad because he hasn’t been able to talk to you yet.

Later in the Charlie brown peanuts café:

An incredibly nervous chanyeol sat on one of the tables, the café was empty probably because of filming but there were a few lingering fans outside, he was drumming at the table to ease the nerves but he was still nervous, you on the other hand were a nervous wreck you didn’t know which member to expect a part of you wanted it to be chanyeol but the other one thought that would be a bad idea, you made your way to the café and opened the door

“oh… my… god”  your eyes widened as your eyes fell on the tall boy

He laughed nervously and you laughed awkwardly, neither of you knew what to do, you just stared at each other, you then regained yourselves and greeted each other quite formally and it felt so odd, he then pulled your chair for you to sit like the gentleman he is then pushed you in and took his seat opposite you, you looked at him and laughed “woah this is.. wow”

“I know, who would have thought”

“yeah, I really like the place though, it’s really cute”

“I’m really happy you like it, it’s one of my favorite places”

“I used to really like this cartoon, especially snoopy”

“me too, I used to like it a lot too”

The waiter came over to take your orders “two caramel lattes, and two slices of tiramisu cheesecake please, is that right?” chan ordered for both of you and you were surprised he remembered

“ah, yes it is” you smiled to him and his heart fluttered.

Your orders arrived, and the crew snapped a pic for SNS to tease fans then you started enjoying your desserts and coffee, and continued chatting

“so ..what should I call you?” he asked and your heart stopped

“I don’t know”  you shyly said

“how about 여보? Or wife? You should call me 자기, or 오빠, or hubby choose one”

“right now??” you asked flustered

“yes, right now” he grinned

“why??”  you whined, you were feeling more at ease, maybe this wasn’t so bad

He laughed at you and whined for you choose quickly “okay, uhm, I will call you hubby?” you mumbled shyly and he grinned and you can tell from the look in his twinkly eyes that he was fangirling on the inside ‘cut’ yelled the PD and cameras stopped rolling, you and chanyeol went to do the black backdrop interview thing. You walked out first and were greeted by the BTS cam, he said he heard you and chanyeol were actually quite close “ah, yes we are good friends, I’m looking forward to giving the viewers good entertainment, I think it will be fun” you said with a gentle smile just as you finished your sentence a wild chanyeol appeared putting his arm around your shoulder “everyone I hope you look forward to us as a married couple and please show us a lot of love and support, thank you” he talked to the cam “isn’t that right wifeu~~?” he turned looking down at you, you looked up at him and laughed

“yes hubby, please look forward to it” you said “see you tomorrow, bye-bye” you said together and the filming was officially over and you said goodbye and left as you were both busy.

That night:

You were at your dorm lying down ready to sleep until you heard your phone vibrate, you looked at it [hubby 1 new message] you looked at your phone confused ‘what the hell?’ you thought , you opened the message

{yo wifeu, what’s good?  ㅋㅋㅋ come out I need to talk to you}

You laughed at his antics, you missed your old happy virus, ever since the ‘incident’ you didn’t really see him except today, and when did he change the name!!

{yah, park chanyeol, it’s 11:30 what is it?}

{just come out, I promise you won’t regret it!}

{fine -.- I’ll be out in 5min}

You tiptoed to your closet, put on a pair of jeans and a big tee and a cap, then tiptoed to the door and put on your sneakers, you had your keys and phone and you snuck out, you skipped the jacket since it’s not cold, you got out and saw chanyeol waiting for you, he was wearing a quite similar outfit, he wore jeans and a t-shirt and a cap and sneakers, you smiled and went over, you started walking together “where are we going?” you asked “Han river”

“right now??”

“uh huh”  he simply replied, it wasn’t actually that far away from your dorm and it was a beautiful night so you didn’t object, there was a comfortable peaceful silence, then you got to the river and sat on a bench “so what’s on your mind?”

“I have been meaning to tell you something this past week but you avoided me”

“I didn’t avoid you I was busy !!” you mumbled

“___-ah I know you, ever since our kiss you avoided me, does the idea repulse you that much?”

“what?? No, why would you think that?”

“you ran away and started avoiding me”

“what do you want me to do?!! I didn’t know how to react, we’re friends I’m not supposed to feel this way, I’m not supposed to like that kiss” you mumbled the last part but he heard

He looked at you stunned he couldn’t believe his ears, you like him too, he took your hands in his you looked at him and he leaned in you closed your eyes and you felt his soft lips capturing yours in a sweet loving chaste kiss, he rested his forehead on yours and looked into your eyes.

“___-ah I love you”

“I love you too channie”
