Kai POV

It was like the fifth time that i was passing the café shop not being able to go in. The place that she was working was a cafe shop according to what baek said. It was a small and cozy place. I peeked inside once more. She was sitting behind the counter looking bored. She was listening to music. I ran my hand through my hair nervously. I didn't want to make a fool out of myself and i knew if i go in there is a fat chance i might. But well i didn't come all the way to chicken out now! I took a deep breath and finally went in. Thanks heavens that the place was empty. Now she had her cheek down on the counter and didn't even notice me coming in. I got closer to the counter and heard her murmuring something under her breath. It was again the song she was listening to. Doing this was her habit. God knows how many times i have caught her murmuring songs! All kind of songs. What was is this time? I leaned closer to the counter and finally managed to get a sense of the lyrics:

It seemed familiar...Big Bang it was.

I watched her a few seconds before hitting my knuckles on the counter next to her head. She instantly jumped up and chanted like a robot: "hello dear customer , what can i...."

But then she stopped halfway staring at me with her eyes widened.

I smiled at her. But she didn't smile back. She was still staring at me shocked.

I couldn't even get whether she is happy or not seeing me.

I said : " I didn't disturb you or anything right??"

She shook her head.

Now i was even more nervous.

" So... Hi i guess..." i said not looking at her.

She bit her lower lip as usual and then brought her hand up and waved it slowly muttering: " Hi"

I couldn't help but to chuckle at her gesture. I held my hand in front of her Waiting for her to shake it and said: " come on it's not like you don't know me! "

I was cussing at myself inside. I mean shaking hands?? Are we on a business meeting or something? What was i thinking?? The truth was I've been thinking about hugging her since she looked up at me. I really felt like doing it. But i couldn't... so that's why the hand shaking part happened.

She was starting at my hands like it's a bomb or something.

" come on i don't bite.I promise." I tried to joke.

She gave me a nervous smile before she brought her hand up and held mine. Her hand was shaking and it was ice cold. I almost felt electric shocks moving down my spine. What the hell was wrong with me today?

I shook her hand and said:" So how you doing manager shi?"

How am i doing???? You can't be serious asking me that?

I just had to stop staring at him. But this was too much for me to handle. I mean two weeks!!! Two freaking weeks! He didn't text me or anything. And i couldn't text him. I mean how could i after his last message which was just a simple 'ok' as a response to my LONG message explaining why i had to leave without saying goodbye.

And now he was here out of blue and he was still holding my hand. What the real hell... i couldn't bring myself to talk. But i managed to mutter something like "Letmebringyousomethingtoeat" before pulling my hand out of his and running away.

I got myself busy making a latte. My mind was working like crazy. Wondering what he is doing here. I mean we are not in Seoul he didn't just pass by here or something. And he was again acting like we are friendly. I'm not complaining , I always wanted to be on good terms with him but during the time i was being his manager our relationship has always been on and off. It was confusing.
