Jessica finished her training early that day and Donghae is waiting for her outside the training room.

"Ka ja! (Let's go)", Donghae said while messing up her hair. Jessica hits him on the shoulder.

"Ouch!", Donghae complained and Jessica just smiled a smile of victory.

The two best enemies surprisingly got well together, and are now best friends.

"Where's Hyukjae (Eunhyuk)?", Jessica asked.

"He went somewhere", Donghae replied and walked ahead of her. They do this routine almost everyday. He will wait for Jessica to finish training, or Jessica will wait for him to finish training, then they will go to Jessica's house together. 

Usually it's him and Eunhyuk and they will play together with the playstation. The two boys are usual guests already at their house. They are only allowed to play for 30 minutes and then Mrs. Jung would prepare food for them to eat for dinner. 

Since Eunhyuk isn't around, Jessica and Donghae played with soccer outside the house.

"You really love to play soccer, huh?", he asked. Jessica kicks the ball in the air with her right knee then to her left knee and pass it over to him.

"How about you? You love soccer too, right?", Jessica asked.

"Who wouldn't?", Hae answered.

"Well, that answers your question", Jessica replied and laughed. Donghae ponders, and smile. He laughs at himself.

"By the way, how is your part time job?", she asked, as they are sitting together on the ground after sweating from playing soccer.

"It's fine", he answered. He and his classmate delivers newspapers everyday around the neighborhood. 

"I'll treat you one day after I get my pay", Donghae said. Jessica smiles.

He's really such a sweet kid, Jessica thought to herself.

"Ani", Jessica replied.

"You have to save it for yourself", she added.

"Once you debut, and you get your second or third pay, you can treat me then", she said.

"Why not first?", he asked. 

"Of course, you have to give it to your family", Jessica answered. 

"I forgot about that for a second", he laughed. 

Definitely, hopefully I get to debut, I'm going to make my father's dream come true, he said to himself. Jessica nudged him.

"You are spacing out. Earth calling Donghae", Jessica said.

"Let's make a promise", Donghae returned to Earth, and he showed his pinky finger.

"The two of us will debut as idols", he said. Jessica thought, then she nods, and made a pinky promise.

"Yes, we will be Korea's top idols", she said.

"And we will be together in achieving that dream", he said. 

"Pinky promise!", Jessica said and smiled. 

"Kids, come on now", Mrs. Jung called them out. They look at each other and smiled, they ran energetically and had a race to get to the house first.

I thought Hae is such a mischievous kid, he's in fact playful and has an easy going personality and thinks of others before himself, Jessica realizes.

I first thought you are such an arrogant and cold girl, but you're indeed fun to be with, Hae said to himself. Their bad first impression of each other is replaced by positive comments.

Jessica sits beside Hae. She was sitting with the other girl trainees and noticed him on the other table.

"Why are you here?", Jessica asks, indicating why he is alone.

"We can't I be here?", Hae asked and stuck out his tongue. Jessica hits him.

"Pabo. (Fool) I meant sit with us there and not here alone", she clarified. 

Hae isn't too comfortable around girls ao he declined. He shakes his head.

"I'll just stay here", he said. Jessica noticed he doesn't have any food, so she shares her food to him.

She just learned the other day that the money he got from his part time job, he gave it all to his classmate.

What am I going to do with that soft heart of yours? The world isn't all friendly all the time, Jessica said, but is proud to have a friend like him.
