RECAP:

Before the conversation can continue a car pulls up at the end of the walk and the girl instantly perks up.

"That must be my ride. Umma said she’ll have me picked up. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" She gives him a small wave and runs lightly towards the waiting vehicle, only stumbling once on her way.

As Seohyun entered the car, she immediately attached her seatbelt. She looked towards the driver,

“Uhmm, excuse me, Ahjussi, Where are we going? Am I meeting my mother?”

Even with her inquiry, the driver didn’t look back and simply ignored her.  Seohyun noticed that the driver had no intention of answering so she simply let it go and leaned her back. After a couple of minutes, the driver pulled up. Seohyun looked out and saw that they are in front of a very tall building.

Then, a man opened the door for her. Seohyun saw that he was different from the men that came for her when she left the hospital. He was so young to be working.

‘He must be on his 20’s,’ She thought.

“We have arrived here in Millennium Seoul Hilton.”

Seohyun stepped out of the car and followed the man as he entered the building. He made his way towards the elevator. The girl, from an area that says, ‘FRONT DESK’ seemed to recognize him, immediately stood up and made her bow. But the lad didn’t even bother to return the bow. Seohyun walked fast to keep up his pace. Then, as they entered the elevator, there was an awkward silence. Seohyun tried speaking to him,

“So, uhmm, may I know your name, sir?”

The man didn’t move and kept his stern face. Seohyun made a pouting face,

‘Why is everyone a snob?’

Then, the sound of the elevator that indicates their arrival broke her thoughts. The man in suit stepped out first,

“Your mother is waiting for you at the Executive Lounge.”

Seohyun walked straight and slowly opened the door. The magnificent hall led exactly to the restaurant. Marble staircase with monumental columns and forged settling of handrails, original parquet floor, multicolored stained glass windows and charming crystal chandeliers create the atmosphere of solemnity and greatness. There, she saw the woman she had been anticipating to see for the whole day.

“Umma!” Seohyun immediately ran towards her mother, who gave her the warm hug that Seohyun was longing for the past months.

“Seohyun, my child,” Her mother muttered softly.

“I’ve missed you.”

“Come on, let’s take our seat and eat as we speak.”

Seohyun nodded and sat on the chair. As she sat, food was immediately served in front of her. Then, they started to eat.
