The next morning Seohyun woke up bright and early. She took her bath then, changed into her uniform and secretly took her medicine. Surprisingly, Yoona and Hyoyeon woke up earlier, too. Thus, they ate their breakfast and went to school all together.

Upon arriving in school, Seohyun could already see students wearing different attires and costumes, busying themselves with last-minute practices. Yoona and Hyoyeon bid their goodbyes, since they, themselves have to prepare. Alone now, she decided to stay in the classroom for the meantime. Seohyun opened the door to her class room, and was delighted to find it deserted. She looked up at the wall clock over the black board. She had an hour before the showcase starts. Perfect. Dropping her bag onto her seat she took the music sheet, that she had decided to play last night, in one hand and went straight to the practice hall.

15 minutes passed when a knock made her stopped and her mom’s secretary came into view.

“Mr. Jung!” Seohyun exclaimed. “How did you …”

Without uttering a single word, Yunho strode towards her and took hold of her wrist.

“Sorry, Ms. Seo, you don’t have time for questions.”

“Wha—”

In a flash, the two arrived on a dressing room.

“Mr. Jung, why did you bring me here?”

“You’re not planning to wear your school uniform in a showcase, are you?”

Seohyun looked down because that was just what she was about to do. On the other hand, Mr. Jung crossed his arm, predicting that this was going to happen.

“This is Ms. Tiffany. She will take care of what you’ll wear.”

Seohyun bowed to her and the latter returned the courtesy.

“So, let’s start?” Tiffany excitedly said as her hands clasped together.

Performers were being called one by one. Seohyun watched their performances through the tv inside the dressing room while the make-up was applied on her face. When they were done,

“Oh my God! You look so beautiful! Even though I just put light make-up. You’re a natural beauty,” Tiffany exclaimed.

The door suddenly opened,

“Seohyun-sshi, your turn after twenty minutes,” she shuddered by the sound of her name.

“Break a leg!” Tiffany encouraged before leaving the room. Seohyun nodded and bowed, “Thank you.”

She stood in front of the mirror and stared quietly at herself, wondering, 'Am I ready?'

Her reflection on the mirror mimicked exactly how she felt. Nervous. But somehow having her shoulder length hair curled, wearing a white dress, and perfectly matching headband and earrings, she felt her confidence rise.

She stepped out of the room and went to the side near of the stage covered by a large curtain, away from the audience. There, she watched Sunny sing and dance. She perfectly harmonized with her group mates which made Seohyun clap and cheer together with the audience.

Sunny’s group made their way to where Seohyun was. Then, the staff immediately cleaned the confetti left by Sunny’s group. Sunny’s group were immediately mobbed by their other classmates. Seohyun could only clasp her hands with a smile, happy for her friend. Then, at that moment, Sunny spotted her and immediately went towards her.

“Seohyunnie~!” Sunny called before hugging the girl tightly.

“Congratulations, you were really great” Seohyun said as she patted Sunny’s back.

“Thank you!”

When she broke off the hug, she immediately examined Seohyun’s appearance.

“Waaah~! You’re really beautiful.”

But then, Seohyun’s name was being announced, her stomach was filled with butterflies again as she faced the stage.

Sunny’s hand touched her arm with a smile on her face, silently urging her to go on.

She took a deep breath and then released it, 'I can do this,' she cheered herself.

"Ms. Seo JooHyun, playing Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin."

She walked gracefully to the stage. One of the biggest stages in she has personally stepped on, with every single seat filled and the glamour lighted above head.

Students started to murmur from each side.
