Love You Like a Love Song
Minji’s POV
It’s been a whole month since Hyejin unnie’s operation. She still in a coma. The doctors told us that if they knew unnie was anemic then they wouldn’t proceed with the operation. Sigh. If we only told the doctors sooner. Everything’s been a mess for us. We feel so empty without unnie. We needed her to wake up soon. We need her here with us.
After unnie went in for the operation, we went to the YG building to tell YG president what was happening. We told him everything and we told him that we couldn’t debut without Hyejin unnie. She’s a part of 2ne1 and we can’t just abandoned her. In the end, YG president decided that we’ll debut when unnie wakes up and when she is all better. I’m glad that YG president is understanding.
The whole company knows what happened to Hyejin unnie. They released a statement to the public stating that 2ne1 will debut later and asked the fans to wait until they debut. Many people were wondering why the sudden change. But we couldn’t tell them the truth because Hyejin unnie wouldn’t want that. The mood at the company has been gloomy. Everyone has been praying for unnie’s safety. We were getting restless because we need her to wake up. The doctors told us that in another week if unnie isn’t awake then they’ll have to pull the plug.
Jiyong oppa took it the hardest. He was the closest to unnie out of all of us. The first time we told him he was crying and he was really sad. He locked himself in his room for 3 days straight. All the Big Bang oppas are sad too. You can see that they’re not themselves. They refused to go on any variety shows. All they wanted to do was lock themselves in their house and go visit unnie. Same goes for everyone else in the company. Sean oppa’s been visiting unnie the most. He’s been praying for her at her bedside. God, I hope you hear all our prayers and help unnie wake up.
We ended up telling Jessica unnie, Tiffany unnie, and Ri In unnie. They all broke down when we told them the news. They wanted to tell Eunhyuk oppa and unnie’s family but we told them not to. Hyejin unnie wouldn’t want that. They’ve been visiting her every day also. You can tell that they’ve been skipping their meals and been crying their eyes out. Kyuhyun’s family visited her daily. Once they heard that she was anemic and still did the surgery, they all felt bad. His mom cried the most because she felt bad for unnie’s family. Unnie, please wake up. Can’t you see how important you are to all of us.
Kyuhyun’s POV
It’s been a month since the car accident. I found out from the doctors and my family that I was able to survive because someone donated their kidney for me. I asked them who it was but they said this person wanted to be anonymous. I’m guessing it was a fan. I’m thankful for this person. This person is my savior. I’m pretty sure it’s a fan. I’ve been stuck at home resting. The members have been taking care of me. I’m really thankful for them especially Donghae hyung. He took care of me the most. He made sure I ate well and rested well.
It was like any other day and I was on my laptop playing Starcraft. I was playing with some random opponent and I was creaming him. PUAHAHAHAHA. Suddenly I heard Heechul hyung screaming.
“Yah, did you hear the news?!” he asked me.
“What news?” I heard Donghae hyung asking back. Where did he come from? Heechul hyung looked nervous.
“Umms, so apparently the group Hyejin was suppose to be in isn’t going to even debut because of her! They were suppose to debut like weeks ago but out of nowhere they decided not to. And you guys are wondering how I know it's Hyejin's fault is because there’s no sign of her at all. She's been missing for this whole month. We still see the other two members. So it has to be her! Pfft, is she being a diva over at YG Entertainment now?!” Donghae hyung ‘s face turned cold. Even though Donghae hyung said he’s over Hyejin, you know that he’s not. You can still see that he loves her.
I wonder how Hyejin’s doing. I shouldn’t worry about her though. She was the one who cut ties with me! I shouldn’t even think of her. I’m mad at her.
“Typical. She said she only cares about fame.” I heard Donghae hyung reply. He left to his room.
“Hyung, I don't think you should mention Hyejin around Donghae hyung.”
“Why? It’s not like she rules our lives. Hae says he’s over her so it doesn’t matter.” He just walked into his room.
Now I really wonder what’s the reason behind why they didn’t debut.
Donghae’s POV
After hearing the news from Heechul hyung, I didn’t know how I felt. It’s been months since I’ve last seen her or talked to her. When I heard about her debut a month ago, I couldn’t help but be angry. So she left us for YG Entertainment. I can’t help but wonder if the guy she was seeing is in that company. Once YG Entertainment released pictures I couldn’t help but admire her beauty. Even if I was mad at her for cheating on me, she was still breath taking.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t love her anymore. I will never go back to her. After our break up, I’ve been only focusing on Super Junior. I remember when I told my parents about our break up, my parents were devastated. They loved her. I told my hyung too and he was sad for me. This relationship made me realize that there’s no such thing as love. I will never love again.
Minji’s POV
Kim unnie and I decided to go visit unnie after rehearsals. We went to go buy her favorite flowers. Kim unnie was putting the flowers in the vase while I was washing unnie’s hands with a wet towel. Suddenly I felt her hands move. Then I looked at her face and her eyes were open! Unnie’s finally awake!!!!!!!!!!!! Kim unnie ran out to get the doctor. The doctors came back and made us stay outside while they were examining unnie. Soon after the doctors came out and told us she was fine and she just needs to go to rehab to get better. We were so ecstatic and ended up calling everyone from YG to tell them the good news. Kim unnie and I entered the room and walked to her bed.
We smiled to her and said, “Welcome back Lee Hyejin.”
